Great place to stay!

Jim and Val are attentive and gracious hosts. Their place is very comfortable and provided us with the perfect home away from home in which celebrate Christmas with our daughter and her fiancée.

Fall colors

We were on a trip for Fall colors. This place was amazing! It was well located for thr harbor and the mtns. The owners were accommodating and good tour guides too, Loved our stay!

Garden Apartment with a Flair for Lobsters

Both beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows. Gorgeous leaf peeper views from top floor windows. It was a pleasure to watch the golden retrievers romp in the yard. Towels and dishes were in plentiful supply, as were chairs. Pleasing decor with various lobster designs.

Beautiful Comfy Garden Apartment

Everything was so thoughtfully planned that we felt like “special “ guest! The gifts, the area brochures and helpful information that made our stay memorable! The apartment was so spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked. Beautiful gardens it was secluded and quiet. We will definitely will look to stay here the next time we visit!!

Great location

Hosts Val & Jim were very nice…… loved the extra touches of leaving us welcome gifts in the refrigerator. Val was very thorough letting us know the amenities available. The location was perfect for our needs.

The place was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Host was very helpful. Internet was not strong so I’m not sure you could work from there.

Charming

We had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment above the garage. It’s conveniently located near Portland and other surrounding areas, making it a great home base for exploring. Val and Jim were fantastic hosts, and the apartment was well-stocked with everything we needed. However, please note that the apartment is accessed via steep stairs, which weren’t mentioned in the listing. Overall, a lovely stay!

It was our first Time in Maine. This property was very close to our friends and to the city of Portland. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The property was extremely clean and well furnished, and the owners are extremely nice. They accommodated our every need. it was a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Wonderful place for a weekend visit

A wonderful garage apartment, a great location to base our weekend. Val and Jim are wonderful hosts! Checkin was great, Val walked me through everything in the apartment and provided a welcoming treat. Will definitely come again.

Homey Accommodations

I stayed for 5 nights and it was lovely. The hosts made sure I was all set for night one and stocked the fridge with beverages, a whoopie pie and a frozen pizza to make sure I was all set. I wasn’t there to enjoy the flowers in bloom but the grounds are beautiful and they were hard at work preparing them for the summer. I’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful Private Setting

We are planning on booking this spot again Val & Jim are very hospitable and provide quick answers to issues like where are the best places to visit, what is in season for seafood, etc. Just need to mention the steep stairway to the apartment with a sturdy rail.
