Bright and sunny one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with ample parking located in a beautiful garden setting. The Apartment has a fully stocked Kitchen with a microwave, fridge and stove. The Bathroom has a Washer and Dryer. The large Living Areas has a full pull-out couch for an extra guest or child. Close to The Sebago Lake region, the Garden Apartment is a nice retreat from the maddening crowd. Located just 10 minutes from Portland and the Old Port Area and 40 minutes away from the Oxford Casino Complex makes for a magical Getaway.

Garden Apartment with a Flair for Lobsters

Both beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows. Gorgeous leaf peeper views from top floor windows. It was a pleasure to watch the golden retrievers romp in the yard. Towels and dishes were in plentiful supply, as were chairs. Pleasing decor with various lobster designs.

Charming

We had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment above the garage. It’s conveniently located near Portland and other surrounding areas, making it a great home base for exploring. Val and Jim were fantastic hosts, and the apartment was well-stocked with everything we needed. However, please note that the apartment is accessed via steep stairs, which weren’t mentioned in the listing. Overall, a lovely stay!

This is a WONDERFUL place!

This was my favorite place we stayed on our trip to New England. It had a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space and everything was super clean and well decorated. The owners were also super nice and helpful.

BEST vrbo EVER

WOW... Val and Jim's garden apartment is a 10,,, friendly, has everything you need. it's location is in the middle of our travel destination. The apartment is completely finished. When Val was showing us the apartment, there where 2 whoopies pies and some local brews in the fridge and a pizza in the freezer,, couple days later they brought us fresh fried clams,,, YUMMY.. It is amazing and we will be back next year..We can't say enough good things about staying at the garden apartment...thank you for everything!!!!

Hospitality at its Best!!

Very comfortable one bedroom apartment with lovely backyard. Val and Jim are so friendly, they live Maine and are excellent resources on nearby restaurants and sites. We enjoyed our time so much!!

My husband and I were absolutely happy with this beautiful garden apartment. It was a good size above the garage and had all the little amenities that you needed, even a washer and dryer. The owners were very nice and came out and greeted us and went and showed us the apartment. We will definitely go back next year again!

Beautiful Comfy Garden Apartment

Everything was so thoughtfully planned that we felt like “special “ guest! The gifts, the area brochures and helpful information that made our stay memorable! The apartment was so spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked. Beautiful gardens it was secluded and quiet. We will definitely will look to stay here the next time we visit!!

It was our first Time in Maine. This property was very close to our friends and to the city of Portland. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The property was extremely clean and well furnished, and the owners are extremely nice. They accommodated our every need. it was a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Quick get a way

The apartment was perfect! Immaculate, spacious and well stocked for everything you need. Val & Jim met us along with the “kids!” Both Val & Jim were very friendly and very informative and made our stay more than we expected. We would definitely return!

The place was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Host was very helpful. Internet was not strong so I’m not sure you could work from there.

Portland Getaway

Weekend in Portland for the Shipyard 5k and 1/2 marathon. Thus place was perfect 12 minutes away, easy to get into Portland And the Hosts were fantastic! Could become a tradition.

Not only did she provide us with every detail about the apartment, but she also took the time to share insider tips on the best restaurants and hotspots in Portland. Homey Accommodations

I stayed for 5 nights and it was lovely. The hosts made sure I was all set for night one and stocked the fridge with beverages, a whoopie pie and a frozen pizza to make sure I was all set. I wasn’t there to enjoy the flowers in bloom but the grounds are beautiful and they were hard at work preparing them for the summer. I’d definitely stay again.

Perfect End to 6 Weeks on the Road

This was an awesome way to finish our 6 weeks on the road, whereby we stayed in a mixture of hotel and privately hosted accomodation. We were met by both Jim and Val and their “kids”, two very friendly Golden Retrievers. The apartment was brilliantly appointed and with lovely touches of local beers, a bottle of wine, a Whoopie Pie and a ready cook pizza provided. We appreciated being shown where everything was and how everything worked. Val made it clear that she was available at anytime for any queries we may have had. The laundry facilities were a bonus! The apartment was warm and cosy, and although above the owners residence, we were never aware of their presence. We would highly recommend Jim and Val’s place. It would have been very easy to stay on a little longer, but sadly our holiday was coming to an end.

Fall colors

We were on a trip for Fall colors. This place was amazing! It was well located for thr harbor and the mtns. The owners were accommodating and good tour guides too, Loved our stay!
