Built in the early 20th century, this impressive all-brick home has been a French Lick landmark for decades. Located directly across the street from the French Lick Resort and Casino, this 2000 square foot home was recently renovated. Featuring a full bathroom and three bedrooms on the second floor -- a king master bedroom, a second bedroom with two queen beds, and a third bedroom with two twin beds -- this 2-story home can easily sleep eight guests. The first floor features an entry lounge, a living room (with a 50" HDTV), a formal dining room, a full kitchen, and a half bathroom. This home offers its guests a comfortable getaway just a short walk from the exciting activities of this resort community, with its local shops, restaurants, and of course the French Lick Resort casino, railway, and golf course. Also nearby are several fantastic golf courses, including the famed Pete Dye Course. Within driving distance, you'll have several popular destinations, including Big Splash Adventure water park (5 minutes), Paoli Peaks ski resort (15 minutes), Patoka Lake (15 min.), Wilstem Ranch elephant and giraffe farm (10 minutes), Marengo Cave (35 minutes), and Holiday World & Splashin' Safari (1 hour).

French Lick Manor House is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a corporate retreat, a golfer's holiday, a gambler's hideaway, or a fun family vacation. This classic home, one of the few all-brick homes located in the heart of French Lick, offers the elegance and casual comfort of a stately "city home" while at the same time providing an amazing array of amenities and conveniences all for the price of a hotel room. This is also one of the only large homes available as a vacation rental within a very short walking distance of the resort and casino.

The French Lick / West Baden area possesses one of the most colorful histories of any area in the Midwest, famous for its natural hot springs and health spas, as well as its strong connection to such illustrious Americans as Franklin D. Roosevelt and Al Capone. At The Manor House, a group of up to eight can spread out and enjoy privacy of this spacious historic home for less than the price of one room across the street at the resort.

Great house!

The house was perfect for our girls trip weekend in French Lick. Walking distance from the casino and local restaurants/bars, a four minute drive to French Lick Winery (highly recommend). Plenty of room, comfortable accommodations, very well stocked with things you might need! Highly recommend!! In fact, we may be booking again for next year!

Everything we needed for the weekend!

The house smelled nice, very cutely decorated, convenient location, and fully stocked with everything basic you would need for your stay! There were some baseboards in the bathroom that could used wiped down, but that was the only dirt I noticed! Loved how enough TP, paper towels, and k-cups for my morning coffee!

Perfect for our family trip

My husband and I stayed here for one week with our 2 kids (ages 5 and 1) and my mom. The house was spacious and had everything that we needed. It is in the perfect location - right in the little town and a very short walk to the French Lick Springs Hotel. The West Baden hotel is a short drive away. It’s also very convenient for getting to Paoli Peaks and other points of interest in the area. To top it off, the house was decorated for Christmas and felt very warm and cozy.

Excellent downtown location

Great house

We stayed here with our 4 kids. It had everything we needed and so close to the resort. In a nicer day, we could have walked over there. Just as the picture and all of the furniture is so comfortable and clean.

Spacious and Quaint

Home was large enough for our whole family and then some! Appreciated the age and decorating of the home, along with the large dining room table and electronics chargers in all the rooms. Central location in French Lick, everything we could have asked for and more!

We have been joyfully married for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters. Originally from Georgia and Florida, respectively, we now live in Louisville, Kentucky. We purchased the Manor House in December 2017 and have put our own personal touches in updating this beautiful house, which we are delighted to share with you.

The "Manor House" is a wonderful piece of early 20th century American heritage. We fell in love with this house the first time we saw it, and believe you will, too. Every room is spacious, with large windows providing lots of natural lighting. The big rooms give you plenty of space to spread out, and the home just feels cozy and very warm. We love the design and flow of the house. Many locals have told us stories of the house, its previous owners, including the original owner -- a builder who built it for himself, which explains the high quality of its design and construction -- and some of their personal connections to its history. Character abounds in this house, with hardwood floors in most of living areas, and the squeaky stairs that seem to go with a 100-year-old house just add to the charm! We believe you'll love the Manor House just as we do.
