Vacation in Montana at the Glacier Chalet, located on the border of Glacier National Park and a few minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park!

The wild and scenic North Fork of the Flathead River is the western border of Glacier Park and the backyard of our log cabin style chalet. This is a secluded hideaway that is only 25 minutes from shopping at the trendy Whitefish shops or find major shopping centers in Kalispell.

Very close to Glacier National Park. The view from the lower porch, upper porch and fire pit area were lovely. We felt we were in a cowboy movie with the river right in full view of the living areas. We saw a common mergansers, bald eagles and some scrub jays, but no moose or elk this visit. But I know they are there and we still have many more opportunities while visiting this wonderful part of Montana. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy. The outdoor table was a bonus for evening dining. We never turned on one of the nice big TVs as there is just so much to do. Thank you for hosting us Steve! Highly recommend.

Don’t hesitate! This beautiful cabin is secluded and I have not been to a place where we didn’t hear anything but nature! No cars, trucks or airplanes, no leaf blowers no people talking no doors slamming etc…. Not any sounds but birds singing etc… for a 3 full days!!! We saw a huge black bear on last night getting a drink from the river. Really a very special place and we will be returning! PS: Steve, the host was exceptionally great, zero problems the entire time!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at this tranquil property. The view of the river was beautiful. We even caught a fish. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was a short drive to GNP. Whitewater rafting with wild River adventures and a horseback riding with Swan Outfitters very close to the house (12-15min) we did the west glacier overlook trail ride. Columbia Falls has a new good restaurants (Gunsight saloon)Was a favorite. All close to the house. Steve was very easy to communicate with and we really didn’t want to come home. We would love to come back again!

Relaxing Cabin by Glacier

What a wonderful few days staying right by GNP. Kitchen was stocked, beds were comfortable, but most importantly, the views were amazing! Would definitely recommend!

This property was absolutely fantastic!!! It is set back all by itself, and the view of the back deck overlooking the river is stunning. The bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean and the kitchen had all the things I needed to prepare meals the week we were there.

Serene location to explore Glacier

We loved staying here. The property was well kept and provided a much-welcomed rest from daily hiking and fishing. We enjoyed out time here.

Loved the location. The river behind the property is definitely the highlight. Very peaceful area. Kitchen was just updated which is always the best place to hang out inside. Will be back.

My first trip to Montana was everything I had hoped for. Location was great, the chalet was PERFECT . This was such a beautiful place to stay, owner is great to communicate with, absolutely no complaints. I will most definitely stay here again !

Amazing!

This cabin on the river was just what we needed. It had amazing views (we saw moose across the river), and a daily turkey that came and sat on the patio. Would definitely recommend for your next stay!
