The home was incredibly clean, comfortable and beautiful inside and out! The sunrise and sunset views from the back porch and rocking chairs were unbeatable.

Great stay on the North Fork of the Flathead. Can fish right in the river. Nice cabin for family trip while visiting Glacier. Close to West Glacier park entrance. Would recommend.

A slice of heaven on the Flathead River! Beautiful views, great location for Glacier NP, and fly fishing right outside the back door. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin - it has everything you could possibly need. Thank you, Carol and Tom for being top-notch hosts - we loved our time at Glacier’s Edge!!

Carol & Tom did an amazing job communicating with us and having the property ready. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Their property is immediately on the river which allowed us to see elk, black bear, black bear cubs, deer and countless bald eagles. Just a wonderful experience. Hoping to return one day with my kids & grandkids.

Where to even begin? If you want the magical "A River Runs Through It" experience, this is it! The place is very, very special. The views of both the river, river bends, mountains at both sunrise and sunset not to mention the MILLION stars at night this is your place. You can tell the family loves this home. The bed is AMAZING, had everything you need to cook/grill/sit outside with quality furniture everywhere which so many rentals forget is important. You know when the owner uses their own place because the details are covered. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. This is the first place that we could not have run out of free firewood if we tried. Without a doubt the best view we've ever had with a rental and will be back!

The Cozy Cabin By the River was truly a piece of heaven!!! This was more than a cabin--actually a 2-bedroom house that was fully furnished and on a beautiful riverside location with Glacier National Park on the other side of the Flathead river. The view was fantastic and the peaceful setting was so relaxing--the only sounds we could hear were the babbling river running over the rocks. We enjoy a daily fly-by with young eagles, and we did see some wildlife--a young elk and several whitetail does and bucks. The cabin is conveniently located just 8 miles outside of Columbia Falls and only 7 miles away from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Tom and Carol are outstanding hosts--we hope to visit their cabin again in the future! We highly recommend anyone to stay at the Cozy Cabin By the River!

Great lodging right on the river.

The cabin is nicely furnished with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We liked that it was isolated from traffic and situated right on the river. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

5 star vacation. The house was fully stocked with everything you need for a week away. So quiet and secluded and you can really unplug and getaway. Amazing setting and the river was so peaceful.

This place is fantastic!!! Amazing views, a fully stocked kitchen and super clean. Our whole family enjoyed grilling out, fishing, reading and a fire all along the river. Quick and easy drive into the park. We LOVED our stay and highly recommend.

This cabin exceeded our expectations! The view is so much more beautiful than any of the pictures convey. Our family of five was quite comfortable. It was also likely the most well stocked kitchen we've had at any vacation rental. If you have the time, check-in first to note the fridge and pantry stock before you go grocery shopping. When we were there, they also had bear spray at the cabin, so you may be able to save on that purchase as well. Be sure to have all your check-in info saved as there is ZERO service in the area until you get to the cabin and connected to wifi. We took the back roads (north route) into Glacier the first day and quickly figured out ways to get around the park from the cabin to avoid crowds. Highly recommend the Two Medicine area. We only wished we had more time (and less wildfire smoke)! Thanks for the great first experience at Glacier!

Location, location, location....

We really enjoyed our stay there. We were a short ride to the west gate and after a full day at the park, this is a perfect place to wind down with million dollar views.

Perfect Montana Cabin

I cant describe how awesome our 4 days were at Glaciers Edge cabin. The wildlife, proximity to the park, feel and scenery made the stay a once in a lifetime experience.

Perfect location

The property was in the perfect location between whitefish and the west entrance to the park. The hosts’ were amazing and made our stay perfect! Highly recommend

Glacier getaway

Can’t say enough about this home. My family of 5 spent 5 days and had a wonderful time. Best stocked rental I’ve ever stayed in and the owners were great and very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

This place was amazing, it was a great get away for my family and I to reconnect and relax!!

This property is in a great location, on the banks of the Flathead River, not far from the beautiful Glacier National Park. The kitchen was fully stocked with all upgraded features, large windows to amazing views! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location and cabin on the flathead river

Amazing hosts and a very comfortable cabin in an incredible location. The cabin is lovely with great space in the kitchen and very comfortable beds. Easy and quick access to both entry points to GNP. Will definitely go back if in that area again. The river front location is unbelievably beautiful.

Beautiful Riverfront Views!!

We had the most incredible stay!! The views were outstanding! The inside was so comfy and the amazing host host had a sweet greeting board wiht our names and some sweet treats! The bed was comfy, house was spotless! We enjoyed the outdoor chairs, swing and hammock. My husband fished the river, and I went for a swim! We can’t wait to come back!

This cozy cabin right on the river was everything we wanted in our summer trip to Glacier National Park. The views were amazing and the location is so peaceful. Tom and Carol were fantastic hosts and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed! Our boys had the best time floating in the river, we fished and had a campfire and morning coffee in the screened in porch. It is so close to the west entrance of the park it is very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Our names are Tom and Carol Ladenburg. We are both native to the Flathead Valley, raised in Columbia Falls. We have four children and four grandchildren.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

To us, this is a very special place. We've spent many days either fishing, swimming or floating the river. Many family gatherings have taken place here, sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, waving to passing floaters and fishermen, and seeing wildlife.

You never know what wildlife you may see. Mornings and evenings are best. We've watched wolves chase elk into the river on more than one occasion. It is a peaceful and serene place.
