This home was a former model home with Builder claimed "best views in the entire development"!!

Riverbend Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and a snowcap view of Long's Peak from the deck; and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat.

From Riverbend Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!!

From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill!

The cozy master bedroom en suite is also located on the main level. Open the windows and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep.

A second family room is located in the lower level along with 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and 2 twins) and a full bath. From this level you can walk-out onto the covered patio and spot elk and other wildlife moseying along the Big Thompson River! Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!

A two car attached garage space comes with this rental. There is also a main floor laundry room.

As our guest you will enjoy access to HOA-shared common fishing areas along the Big Thompson river.

Wildlife sightings abound with frequent visits from elk, deer, wild turkeys and even an occasional bobcat.

Need we go on... Riverbend Lodge is perfect in every way... not just another vacation rental but a perfect mountain home!

**The rentals for this home are managed by Mark and Sue Werder (aka Good Neighbor Vacation Rentals) who live just a few miles away and are available to assist you with your stay! **

** The occupancy for this home is 8 total if at least 2 are children or 6 total if all adults. The 8 total includes day guests who must be approved by the manager. No weddings or other group events**

**Our cancellation policy is stated below. If you have any concern that you (or someone traveling with you) will not able to come because of possible future medical reasons (including Covid) and/or for some other reason then we suggest that you take out a trip insurance plan that would cover that potential situation

**This home is located in a Firewise certified community. There is no smoking permitted anywhere in or around this home and/or anywhere on the HOA shared grounds. Absolutely no charcoal grill or campfires permitted.

Fabulous stay

This home was perfect for an extended family vacation. It sits on a beautiful stretch of the river and has plenty of room for sitting in the patio, family dinners, and spreading out inside. The managers are exceptionally helpful and communicative. The walking path along the river is the icing on the cake. Such a wonderful home!

Great Place

My first thought when seeing the place in person was, "How much do they want for it?" Great spot, quiet, nice view of woods and stream, comfortable, spacious, close to RMN park but also a lot of great places to eat.

Great weekend getaway from the city

The home is very beautiful. Very scenic location and the view of the river is so peaceful. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment if you choose to stay in for meals. Location is very convenient for checking out town and local restaurants. Extremely close to RMNP as well. Property manager was very kind and gave wonderful recommendations for hikes and restaurants. Hard to leave but we will be back!

We had a fantastic time in an uncertain time!

We arrived in Estes Park with our only concerns being the COVID-19 issues, but the fire had other ideas. We've stayed in rental properties for almost 30 years now, and hands down this property was the best supplied, cleanest, most comfortable home we've ever rented. Sue was FANTASTIC at keeping us updated on the fire's progress, and we were still able to enjoy the area till we left. I've spoken to a friend and we hope to be able to come back again next fall to stay here!

Unbeatable location with perfect views and the home is perfectly stocked.

We have stayed at many homes in Estes Park over the last 25 years. This home is by far one of the nicest and the location (directly on the Big Thompson) is perfect. We saw abundant wildlife including elk, deer and even an eagle. My daughter caught her first trout out of the Big Thompson on this trip and we were a few yards from the back door. The furnishings are very tasteful and the owners have thought of virtually everything a family would need. Whether you are sitting on the back deck or inside on the main floor, you have a beautiful view of the river. With a window open at night, we fell asleep to the sound of the river. Our family would highly recommend this home for families that appreciate being on the river but want to be within walking distance of food/supplies or our favorite coffee house, Coffee on the Rocks.

Everything we were looking for!

Our stay at Riverbend Lodge in Estes Park was delightful! Our group was three siblings (all in our 70’s) who were gathering for 5 days to go through thousands of family photos to reminisce and organize the photos for future generations. We grew up in Colorado and wanted to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of a mountain setting while “working”. This home was everything we hoped for. It was beautifully designed, and we were never without a gorgeous view of the mountains and river. The walking path between the river and the house was perfect for a quick break to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We decided to cook “at home” for most of our meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed. Each of us left feeling that we would enjoy bringing our own families here – the location, proximity to town and to RMNP, and amenities in the house would make it easy to host multiple generations. Matching the perfect “score” for the house, we also felt very fortunate to have Sue as the property manager. She was friendly, helpful, and responsive - both in advance of and during our stay.

This is the ideal mountain home. When you walk in and see the river, right outside the back deck, it is mesmerizing. We could not think of one negative about Riverbend Lodge. Beautifully decorated and all the comforts of home, in a great mountain setting. We will definitely be back next year.

Lovely home located on Big Thompson River.Home is well stocked. Kitchen has any and all appliances needed. Furniture is comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet-we saw several elk in front of the home. Sue, the property manager, was communicative and wonderful. She told us about the country market near us which is a gem. Wonderful time in Estes Park.

A Perfect Winter Vacation Home

This home is beautifully furnished and is well equipped with everything you might need. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and the view along the stream is lovely.The check in and communication were seamless. We absolutely loved it, and we plan to return next winter.

Great place and management!

The property is perfectly located between downtown and RMNP! It’s also just a short walk to Coffee on the Rocks, which has nice coffee, breakfasts, and lunches.It’s a very cozy and clean, well decorated cabin. We saw deer several times on the river too!Sue was perfect to deal with—super responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this place, especially with children as you can keep them downstairs;)

Amazing

This property is amazing! Absolutely beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and then some. There was space to spread out but also all hang out together. The manager was really responsive and wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding

This was my very favorite VRBO we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean, perfect location, well stocked kitchen. We had Thanksgiving here and had everything you could ever need. It is tough to beat sitting in the great room with a cup of coffee while elk and deer run around the river. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone!

Our favorite place!

This was our second time staying at this property and we can’t wait to come back. The house itself it great, and the location can’t be beat. A short drive to town and RMNP, and we loved walking down the river path to feed the ducks at the rock shop each evening. There is so much to do close to the house, but we also love sitting on the patio and watching the river and nature around. The host has so many helpful suggestions as well!

Lovely area; just right with a toddler to walk through the woods by the river to the duck pond. Toys were a very welcome addition in the house and the lower floor was a particularly safe environment for children. Thank you.

Absolutely Wonderful

My family stayed 5 nights at River Bend. The house was perfect when we arrived and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We sat on the back porch in the evenings and watched the elk and mule deer wander through the neighborhood. This is a great house in a great location.
