Riverbend Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and a snowcap view of Long's Peak from the deck; and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat.
From Riverbend Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!!
From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill!
The cozy master bedroom en suite is also located on the main level. Open the windows and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep.
A second family room is located in the lower level along with 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and 2 twins) and a full bath. From this level you can walk-out onto the covered patio and spot elk and other wildlife moseying along the Big Thompson River! Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!
A two car attached garage space comes with this rental. There is also a main floor laundry room.
As our guest you will enjoy access to HOA-shared common fishing areas along the Big Thompson river.
Wildlife sightings abound with frequent visits from elk, deer, wild turkeys and even an occasional bobcat.
Need we go on... Riverbend Lodge is perfect in every way... not just another vacation rental but a perfect mountain home!

Great place right on the Big Thompson River and very convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and town. Peaceful setting at home with great access to activities and destinations. The cabin was well equipped and very beautiful - highly recommend!

This property was as described and better than expected! What’s delightful surprise to have such a beautiful view! The kids even enjoyed it! Everything we needed was there including admin toys in toy box! Price seems expensive but well worth what you get—a million dollar view and home!

This was such a wonderful home. The host was so helpful, and the house was beautiful and in a perfect location. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely love this house. Close to downtown, close to the national park. There is always wildlife around and the location right on the river is ideal!

We love this house so much! It is so close to RMNP as well as downtown. The house is clean and well stocked and the setting on the river is ideal

We loved the location—the proximity to both Estes Park and the RMNP entrance was incredible. There’s also a cute grocery store and several restaurants nearby, which made everything very convenient. Communication was excellent, and the house was pristine upon arrival. The fishing right outside the cabin was outstanding—in fact, we had the best luck fishing there of everywhere we tried. My son caught and released several rainbow trout, including his personal best. A 5 star experience in every way!

Our stay was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed and the house was immaculate, the view next to the river was calming. The host answered any question immediately. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and perfectly-maintained cabin, welcoming hosts, awesome amenities and stunning views of the Big Thompson from the grand windows, amazing upper deck and lower level patio! January 2026 online pictures were recent and a perfect representation of what you can expect of the property.

Great Cabin
Cabin was very clean, and excellently maintained. Sue was so helpful and easy to work with. Great location by the river and beautiful view.

This is the ideal mountain home. When you walk in and see the river, right outside the back deck, it is mesmerizing. We could not think of one negative about Riverbend Lodge. Beautifully decorated and all the comforts of home, in a great mountain setting. We will definitely be back next year.

Fabulous stay
This home was perfect for an extended family vacation. It sits on a beautiful stretch of the river and has plenty of room for sitting in the patio, family dinners, and spreading out inside. The managers are exceptionally helpful and communicative. The walking path along the river is the icing on the cake. Such a wonderful home!

If there is a perfect place to stay...this is as close as it could possibly be. Beautiful home, well equipped, very clean. We couldn't have been more happy with both the house and location. Sue (the property manager) was extremely easy to work with as well. She reached out to check if everything was okay, and made the whole process delightful. We couldn't be more happy with this stay!
