RiverWatch is located in the Historic District of downtown Beaufort, SC. Suite B is a short walk-up second floor unit that's beautifully decorated with a coastal and beach theme. There are two (2) very comfortable bedrooms with the Master having a Sealy Posturepedic queen and the second bedroom having a double. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper in the living room with a thick coiled spring mattress. All linens are provided.
The full bath has a shower and tub combination. Your kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove, dishwasher, medium refrigerator, full size microwave, blender, toaster, and coffee pot. There are also essentials for cooking and dining. A shared washer and dryer is located on the first floor as well and all detergents are provided.
This property is well equipped with free WI-Fi, and easy to use Roku offering multiple channels and unlimited movies, a 50" 4K Smart TV, Blue-ray DVD player and four DVDs movies, all filmed in Beaufort.

There are two bicycles per unit for your peddling pleasure as well as a Hunting Island Beach FREE access pass.
Directly in front of your entrance @ 701 Congress St. are two parking spaces, one each for Suite A & B. More parking is available behind the Cafe. There is one boat or RV parking spot on the corner of Congress & Scott St.

The apartment was so cozy it was absolutely perfect we enjoyed our stay very much! It was very close to downtown great location lots of shops a much visit! Thank you so much for making your lovely location available! Oh and the cafe down stairs was excellent a must try.

We had a very nice couple of days here! Very clean and in a great location. Beds were comfortable and it was a nice (and affordable) setup for families. Host was very nice and had great communication. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a sweet little property in a beautiful location. The cafe below the unit was AMAZING!! It was a short trip for us as we werre only there for our grandson's militay promotion. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Beaufort.

The property was clean and comfortable. We had what we needed in the kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed having access to 2 bikes to explore Beaufort and the surrounding area.

What a lovey place! We mentioned how nice it was multiple times during our stay. It is clean, comfortable, centrally located, quiet and safe. Overall, we had a truly enjoyable stay.

The perfect cozy for a getaway. Looking forward to returning later this Summer. Shopping and restaurants are near by. If you are for the 40 minute to shop( which we did) to the Outlets. Highly recommend.

A very nice, and clean apartment. We did not get a chance to use the pass for the park or the bikes, but this aparment worked great for our trip. If I am in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

This little apartment was neat and clean and in a quiet spot. The hosts had a notebook with a lot of helpful info about the area and also a state park pass which we used to visit nearby Hunting Island. The bedding and towels were nice and the utensils and items supplied in the kitchen were more than adequate. We would recommend, and we hope to return.

Perfect apartment for our weekend getaway in Beaufort to visit friends. This apartment had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfy, kitchen was clean, TV worked great and we could walk into town or to our friends' house on Pigeon Point. We had been traveling for more than a week when we got there so the washing machine/dryer was like a cherry on top of an already delicious dessert. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Our stay was wonderful! We walked to the shops and restaurants every day. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and perfect, plenty of towels, comfortable livingroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful girls trip!

Overall, very nice location & very nice convenience. Didn't know that the café & cigar bar had apartments upstairs, been to the cigar store before on our last visit. As a person that love to cook, I would update the knives set with a sharpener on it and a wooden spoon set. One or two more bowls to serve the food out of. Nothing you can do about the parking but we would book again.

Mark Is an almost lifelong resident of Beaufort having been part of a Marine family until grade 6 and attending Junior high thru college in Beaufort.
He has been a Banker as well as entrepreneur with several local businesses.
As a "Lowcountry boy" growing up in the marshes and active in boating & sailing he can tell you most anything you need or want to know about Beaufort County, its history and places you'll want to see.

We purchased this property in 1987. It consisted of 1 office and 3 long-term residential rentals. in 1997 we added the Magnolia Bakery Cafe and Garden Gift Gallery. (now paused in business) The original building was built in the 1950's and has been upgraded several times.
In 2016 we converted Suite A (1 bedroom) to short-term rental as a test. With overwhelming positive response in 2018 we converted Suite B (2 bedroom) to short-term rentals. Please see VRBO #912215 for our current 5 Star Reviews.

This property has cool river breezes, large southern Magnolias and Spanish Moss covered oak trees It is within walking distance to the historic Old Point (across the street) Downtown, the Waterfront Park and sweeping views of the Intercostal Waterway.
There is reserved parking directly in front for both A & B units but if that is taken there is extra parking beside and behind the building. Both units have 2 bicycles each together with free Beach passes at Hunting Island State Park
