RiverWatch is located in the historic district of downtown Beaufort. Across the street from the Intracoastal Waterway. Directly across the street and to the right is the USC campus and Performing Arts Center. Suite A is a short walk-up, second floor unit that's beautifully decorated with a coastal beach theme. The private bedroom has a queen "cool touch" Tempur-Pedic mattress for your comfort. All linens are provided. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with a 4 inch coiled mattress. The full bath has a shower and a tub combination. Your kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, medium refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, and coffee pot. There are also essentials for cooking and dining including coffee and tea. A washer and dryer are located on the first floor as well. This property is well equipped with wifi and a Smart television.

There are also two bicycles per unit for your peddling pleasure as well as a Hunting Island State Park beach pass for your free access. Directly in front of the entrance @701 Congress St are two parking spaces, one each for Units A & B. More parking is available behind the building. There is one boat or RV spot on the corner of Congress & Scott St. Please let us know if you are bringing a boat or an RV.

Location, location, location! Great find, perfectly located near downtown. It has everything you need & even though we were gone a ton, we still got to enjoy some downtime at the place at night, watching movies & chilling. The stairs are tough though so be careful and the toilet is very small but for the price, it is very manageable. We will definitely try and stay here on our next trip down.

Perfect place for a “home base” when exploring the area around Beaufort….just right for two people. The home was well appointed, providing all the basic consumables, like laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwashing pods & liquid, paper towels, & toilet paper. There were beach towels provided, as well as bikes for exploring. It was a cozy, comfortable place to stay, and great value for the price! Bonus: designated parking space!

Great location across from large oaks with Spanish moss offering beautiful sunrise photo ops & about a one-mile walk to Bay Street where the action is. Apartment was perfect for us (a couple). Had every provision we needed & was quiet & comfy. Appreciated the extra perks like free pass into Hunting Island State Park & the DVD player with locally-filmed movies to watch when you just need some chill time. Would most definitely recommend this apartment. * Note the stairs to reach the unit are quite shallow so be careful .

We had a very nice stay. The apartment was private and quiet and the location was great too as everything was easy to get to. The rooms were clean and had basic needed supplies. There was also lots of info about the area in the home to browse which was so nice as we navigated Beaufort. The Hunting Island park pass was amazing! I would highly recommend staying here!

Cannot beat the location of this property for visiting Beaufort! The host has thought of everything! Right down to bicycles, beach pass and beach towels!The property is homey. Nothing glamorous, but is efficient.

The apartment was very clean and the manager will go out of his way to help you with anything. It is in walking distance of the waterfront park and all the shops and restaurants. I loved my stay and will definitely book again.

I am a long-term resident of Beaufort SC. I currently reside on St Helena Island, SC with my wife, Beverly, a former teacher. Our two daughters and two grandchildren also live here in Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We purchased this property in 1987 and renovated the entire building in 1997. The original building was built in the mid 1950's and has been upgraded several times. Suites A & B have always been long-term rentals and beginning in September 1, 2016 we upgraded and converted them to furnished short-term rentals.



Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We fell in love with this building because of the cool breezes, large magnolias and Spanish moss covered trees. The building is located in the historic district on Carteret St. at Bellamy Curve and has sweeping views of the Intercostal Waterway. There is reserved parking in front of the entry door but if by chance it is taken there is an abundance of available parking located behind the building..
