Everything you want in a special family getaway!

Relax on the remote beach, fish off the private pier, enjoy a sunset from the boathouse swings, kayak the lagoon, learn to paddle board, bike on the bike path, or laze by the new custom pool. All of these are at your fingertips with a West Beach vacation to Southern Palms Cottage. Located directly across from the gulf and right on the lagoon, this home will provide the space you need for the whole family. All living and bedrooms are located on one level and the open floor plan provides exceptional space for everyone to gather. We know you will love cooking in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen with HUGE island while watching the 65 inch TV in the living room! The front porch provides the perfect spot to sip coffee in the mornings while listening to the crashing waves of the Gulf of Mexico, while the back porch allows you to feel away from the hustle and bustle of the world while watching the sunset over the pier. The long driveway and 6 covered parking spots allows you to comfortably plan your vacation without having to worry about car restrictions.

This is our second stay and many to come!!! We absolutely love everything about this place. Plenty of pool toys, great fishing from the pier, beach access right across the road and the host has been wonderful! Great location and I think the biggest pool around. We have made so many memories here already and can’t wait to make many more!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here and would love to return. The pool was our favorite part and my kids couldn’t get enough of it. Easy walk to the beach even with toddlers and my 90 year old grandfather. Very private and relaxing location.

This house was an absolute gem for a family vacation. The pool was beautiful, clean and warm. We were very close to the beach access. Which made it nice for beach strolls. The house is a short drive to the restaurants and stores. Neighbors weren’t too close so didn’t feel like we were on others vacations. Accommodations were updated and fun. They had pool toys for the kids which was a nice touch.

My group really enjoyed every aspect of this property from the internal amenities to the external. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we could have needed and the entire house was clean and spacious. We loved the dock for fishing, the heated pool and paddle boards and bikes. The property owner was fantastic to work with! We would love to make this our “go to” property!

Near beach access , heated pool for cooler days , spacious rooms and living space , a kitchen counter that will make every wife envious , amazing outdoor views . My family of 7 had a blast for spring break this year. Will certainly look to use this property again!

Our family have been going to Gulf Shores since 2013 and this house has now been marked our all time favorite! Spacious, beautiful, comfortable home with the convenience of a private pool, little lagoon AND ocean/beach just a few steps away. We will definitely be booking this one again! Perfect for family

The property was as listed. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and kayaking in the lagoon. The beach is a short walk away and was easy to access.

Great place to stay. The pool was nice and warm even on the cool evenings. Great location close to the beach and right on the lagoon. Becky was great and answered all our questions.

Wonderful house!

The kitchen/dining/living area was amazing for cooking and hanging out. We enjoyed the heated pool and the dock for fishing and easy beach access! Comfortable beds.

We have been vacationing on the Gulf Coast for 20+ years. We loved it so much that we decided to purchase a beach home so we could customize it to fulfill all of our wants and needs in a vacation home. Although we would love to spend every week down there, we don't have the vacation time to do so, so we decided to open our home up for all to enjoy. We have tried to think of everything to make your vacation enjoyable; kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a beach cart. Our hope is that you will love and cherish our home as much as we do.
