Welcome to Eagles’ Nest! This highly acclaimed 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath and amenity-rich Lake Michigan vacation home, boasts private stairs to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan! With 80 steps to Lake Michigan’s shores and a recently added seawall, this is one of a few homes that have an accessible, beautiful beach!
Outside, you will enjoy a year-round private hot tub built into a wrap-around deck, a pergola overlooking unforgettable sunsets, hiking on 140 acres of marked trails, NEW living room furniture, outdoor furniture, grilling options (gas & charcoal), watching the wildlife (including six area mature bald eagles - which were recently featured on a PBS documentary), and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Note: BRAND NEW Bedroom Furniture in 2026 (not pictured yet)!
Inside, you will enjoy a thoroughly clean and tastefully updated home that features beautiful cabinetry, a well-stocked kitchen, new carpets, plenty of activities for a getaway, two 55” TVs with cable, three bedrooms, and one additional common sleeping area with two beds and a bunk bed. With a fantastic cleaner, we often are told the home is the cleanest rental property guests have ever stayed at. With all of the amenities, capacity for this vacation home is eight adults and children. Please note the home is PET-FREE and the indoor fireplace is not available due to insurance reasons.
If you are not enjoying the lake, hot tub, or the beautiful colors (especially in the fall), downtown Manistee and Ludington are not far out of reach. With access to fishing charters, golfing at Manistee National or Arcadia Bluffs, skiing at Crystal Mountain, or exploring the Manistee National Forest, Northern Michigan has it all!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Eagle's Nest! The view and beach were spectacular! The home was clean and well stocked with all the necessities for cooking and enjoying the beach. I highly recommend and would book again in the future!

Home is charmingly situated, we had great weather and even if we hadn’t the view from the house is spectacular by itself. The steps to the beach will keep you in shape and the beach itself is private and beautiful. Multiple sunsets were watched, from the comfort of a couch or even hot tub in the evenings.

Fantastic get-away experience and amiable and friendly host. Definitely the best we have visited in over two dozen VRBOs . Would recommend to anyone for great fun memories.

My family and I had an amazing visit here. The property was exactly like the pictures, and was beautiful to sit on the shore. The host did a great job communicating with us and making sure to address anything we brought up swiftly. The home was clean and tidy, and there were a lot of amenities that were available to use (including inside and outside). Only thing I would note is that the backyards in the property are pretty open with the neighbors incase you wanted to know that in advance. Otherwise, everything was great (including us spotting the eagle(s)!!)

The house is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the beach, fire pit, hot tub and amazing view of the lake. The house is close to the downtown area. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was amazing, Abby and Kyle were very polite and responded to our emails/messages in a timely manner. The views of the home were absolutely incredible, especially during sunset. Our group of friends really enjoyed the home as well. We will definitely be booking our next trip with Abby and Kyle at Eagles Nest! 10/10 all around!

We had a picture perfect weekend. The house was immaculate, amazing, and more than we expected. The views were incredible, great access to the beach and other activities in the area. We loved the hot tub and saw a bald eagle fly by. Would highly recommend.

The Eagle’s Nest provided the perfect place for a family get together. The views and peaceful sunsets were just what we needed. House was very clean and instructions left were very clear. Highly recommended!

The Eagle's Nest is a beautiful home that lives up to it's name. We saw a number of eagles flying overhead on three different days. The home looks brand new and can accommodate several guests comfortably. I highly recommend this wonderful getaway. We most definitely plan to return!

We enjoyed the stay very much! The property and home are well maintained and very clean with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. We were also just a short drive from town. Our family of 8 enjoyed the hot tub, beach access, games, and the fire ring. We definitely recommend this great home!!

Our family enjoyed this cozy getaway during our Thanksgiving break. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The view was gorgeous. And the location was perfect, between Manistee and Ludington, which made for the ideal day trips to support small businesses over the holiday weekend. Although we typically visit Lake Michigan during the summer to enjoy the water and warm days, our snowy adventure was a nice change and this cottage offered all the amenities to make our time away relaxing and enjoyable.

the house common area was great, and the back deck and yard had a wonderful view of the lake and sunsets. Nicely furnaced good for a group of people.

It's exactly perfect for the characteristics we were looking for..beach access, cooking together and gorgeous view for eating and relaxing. Very comfortable inside and out. It was so spotlessly clean and equipped with just every thing you could possible need. Quiet, too!

Amazing place!
Wonderful house, wonderful location and wonderful property managers. We had a great time celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary and would love to stay again someday.

Our family loves sharing our Manistee properties with others! Kyle works as an elementary principal and I play for a number of Midwest symphonies - as a violinist. Since 2015, we have operated a number of rental properties and a real estate brokerage in Michigan. As a young family (our kids are 5, 1, and a newborn), we know the joy it brings our family and are thrilled when we get to share it with others from around the world!

Eagle's Nest is one of a few homes along the lakeshore that has beautiful upgrades, strong amenities (a hot tub - to name one), a private beach with steps to Lake Michigan, tremendous nature - including bald eagle's that live next to the property, and a location close to downtown Manistee and not far from Ludington!
