Beautiful updated home with 100’ on Portage Lake - 20 minutes to Arcadia Bluffs
Completely renovated lake front home on beautiful Portage Lake with spectacular sunset views! We have spared nothing! Portage Lake has unique channel access to Lake Michigan, and our home is minutes away from the Onekama marina. We have 100' of private lake frontage, and expansive views of the lake. Located on a quiet street, this location is ideal for your family. This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8. Two bedrooms offer stunning lakefront views with queen beds. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 2 bunk beds, and can sleep 4.
Each bathroom has been completely renovated, complete with fresh new towels and fixtures. Bathroom 1 has bathtub/shower and bathroom 2 has walk in shower with bluetooth speaker that can sync with your phone.
Our beautiful kitchen has quartz countertops, all new appliances, and every item you could possibly need to make your stay perfect! The drip coffee maker has a Keurig built in. A large custom table has seating for your entire group, and is the perfect space for meals and games together.
There is a brand new washer and dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, WiFi, and keyless entry.
We've thought of everything you might need during your vacation including lots of family games, lawn games, several life jackets for adults and kids, 3 stand up paddle boards, 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, fishing poles, beach towels, Weber grill, Solo stove for bonfires, outside tables, and more.
The location is absolutely perfect! Just off M22 (most scenic road in northern Michigan and gateway to northern MI), we are a short drive to everything.

This was our second vacation at this awesome cottage. It is updated, clean, with terrific hosts. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the nice deck with new furniture, the big yard, and it was topped off with even better weather!

Perfect place for a getaway. We used it for a golfing trip to Arcadia Bluffs . Not far of a drive to golf, casino is very close also.

Short weekend with friends. The house and everything included was absolutely perfect. Super clean and comfy. Everything we needed and more. Wish we had more time to stay. Very relaxing and peaceful area. Loved the access to the water. 100% recommended.

The location on the lake was absolutely perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed the great fishing, relaxing on the dock/easy access into the water, sunsets and the close proximity to restaurants and attractions. 10/10!! Beautiful, clean home!The owners communication made everything seamless, and we really appreciate how easy they made our stay. My family and I can’t wait to go back next year for another amazing experience!

Lake Relaxation
The property completely met our expectations. Serene lake views, sunsets, close proximity to Lake Michigan and other Northwest Michigan destinations. We were very pleased and looking forward to our next stay!

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The view can’t be beat and we used the fire pit one evening and it was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed st Ambrose and iron fish distillery one day. We went on a lovely hike in manistee. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location with plenty of toys to enjoy with family
Tim and Kristen were wonderful hosts and clearly communicated expectations, Their cottage is newly completed and beautiful. Good Wifi and cellular service was a bonus as some family members were working remotely,

Just as advertised! Comfortable, beautifully decorated, lake house. Well appointed with plenty of nice bath and beach towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, grill, indoor and outdoor family games, and watercraft! Family enjoyed them all! So relaxing to sit on the dock in the Adirondack chairs! Lots of priceless family fun! Owners very nice and responsive.

Updated home on a beautiful lake
We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It's located on a quiet street. The lake is larger than I had expected. The water is clear by the dock. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The home is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

Delightful Lake Trip
This was a great place for our family to enjoy a couple nights on the lake. Very cozy place with plenty of blankets, comfy beds, very well stocked kitchen, and tons of water toys to choose from. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was stunning! The location was fantastic, with amazing views. It was spotlessly clean, homely and very well equipped. You can not go wrong with this rental!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Portage Lake cottage. Clean, quiet location, well stocked cottage that was big enough for our family of 8 adults to spend some family time together. It is very comfortable and we wish we could have stayed longer
