"Welcome to Sea Watch, a charming two-story duplex perfect for your family and friends, now enhanced with a brand new pool installed in the Summer of 2022. Recent updates by the owner include fresh new flooring throughout the unit, creating a revitalized feel to this inviting space. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home comfortably accommodates up to ten guests.
The master bedroom features a queen bed with an en suite bathroom and access to your private balcony through double doors. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed with its own en suite. The third bedroom is ideal for kids, featuring two bunk beds. Each bedroom is furnished with a flat-screen TV for your entertainment needs.

In the living room, you'll find another flat-screen TV and a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests. The open floor plan connects the living room to the fully stocked kitchen, allowing you to cook and engage with family and friends simultaneously.
Just across the street, you'll find the beach, offering the ultimate relaxation spot while ensuring the kids have a fantastic time.

For Winter Season reservations (January and February), bookings made before October 1st require a minimum stay of 60 days (two months). Reservations not meeting this criterion are subject to potential cancellation by management. After October 1st, reservations for the winter months may have a minimum stay of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications.

Sea Watch is professionally managed by Poole & Associates.
Additional Information: Vehicle Registration Tags are required and available for purchase upon arrival or through direct contact with our office. Each reservation allows a maximum of 2 cars. Linens are provided, but guests are advised to bring their own beach towels. The reservation includes a 'starter set' of hand soap, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 trash bag per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels.

Policies:
Photo ID is mandatory at check-in. Guests must be at least 25 years old or older to rent. Dogs are welcome, with a $225 non-refundable pet fee per pet and a limit of 2 dogs. Smoking is prohibited.

We did have to stop at a separate building to get keys which was inconvenient with all the traffic. Poole Ass were very friendly. Our neighbors had dogs and would bark loudly while they were gone. I think we could have been more prepared if we would have known. We were told beach access was right across the street. It is not, you have to walk down to o public access or there is an empty lot about 5-6 houses down we could walk thru. The pool was amazing. So nice to have right out the back gate. The house itself needs to be updated other than the floors. But did have plenty of space for all of us and located only 2 miles from the Hangout. For our first trip to Gulf Shores it was a nice place to stay.

Definitely needs updating

Place wasn’t cleaned but, I paid a cleaning fee. They need a key box or code, I shouldn’t need to go to them to get and bring back the key, the refrigerator doesn’t work even though I called to be dismissed, this isn’t an entire condo it’s a half so you share parking and pool and also the beach access is a walk you can’t just go across the street. They need to update the description! Never again to this property or anything ran by Poole

No direct acess to the beach have to walk a little. Being a town house which i didnt realize was fine with the first guests but the second had alot of kids and was noisy and having a dhared pool was awkward. The tub upstairs had a overflow leak which was a headache

Satisfactory at best

Everyone needs ice on the beach. Refrigerator completely out of date ice maker doesn't work. Trim in the house was gross. Had to dig drainage ditches outside to drain the concrete patio and clean the mud rocks and sand. Only key entry locks so with 8 people we had to keep track of 2 keys and make sure everyone had access. Very little shade on the outside decks..

Fallen through the cracks

It is obvious this place has fallen through the cracks. It was clean, as in the floors felt clean & the bathtub was clean. The baseboards were nasty & there was something splashed across the kitchen window blinds that was so gross we cleaned it ourselves. The crown molding across the entire front of the living room looked moldy (not positive it was mold as I didn't have a ladder to climb up to inspect). The first morning we discovered sugar ants in the kitchen. The property manager was on it quickly, but the man that came to spray didn't show up until late afternoon, as we waited around all day for him. I would not stay there again, despite the good location.

Great location but property needs allot of maintenance

I read the most recent review and thought the person was being ridiculous about the check in process. But after having to do it I agree 100 percent. Every house we have stayed in you have a lock box, I have never had to drive out of the way with a 2 hour window to get keys and have to go out of way to drop off. If you stay you need to bring everything including trash bags, they don’t give you any besides the ones in cans. The property is run down inside and needs updating and general repairs. Upon arrival we were left a note that they were working on property. All the kitchen cabinets were wet with oil based paint and drawers painted shut, all cabinet doors missing. Pool is nice and maintained, close to the pass.

This property needs lots of work. Door knobs loose on exterior doors and interior doors. Kitchen sink water would barely run. Spots in sheetrock on walls and ceiling where there’s been roof leaks. Bare minimum toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Use the cheapest toilet paper known to man. There were no places to hang clothes in closets. The outside deck looked and felt very unsafe, I’m a licensed builder in Mississippi and this place needs lots of work. The check in procedures were RICICULOUS. For no reason should a guest have to go out of their way to get keys for a rental. They should have locks with codes which get sent to you once you book and everything left inside house that we would need otherwise. Ad is not very clear, but this IS a duplex and you share the pool with whomever is staying in the other half. Will not stay here again and would not recommend.

Worth the money

The house was the perfect size for 9 people. We had a shared pool that was a pretty good size and we never ran into the neighbors while using it. The house had lots of extra pillows and blankets which was nice however it didn’t have enough bath towels. It advertises for 10 people but if you have 10 you will need extra towels to take showers. It does advertise that it’s updated which is not super accurate. The outside is definitely old and the stairs leading up to the house are worn and soft in some spots which was kind of scary to walk up. The boards sagged under your feet. The railing on the deck and the stairs had boards missing. So if you have little ones like we did be careful. Inside was cute. It needs a facelift for sure. The decor is very outdated and cluttered feeling in some areas. While the unit was cleaned, we did notice a lot of dust built up on all of the trinkets placed all over the house. It doesn’t get dusted at all. When we moved a nightstand to retrieve something we dropped we found lots of chips and candy bar trash and layers of dust. We weren’t expecting a super modern updated unit based off of the price, so we knew what we were walking into. Overall the experience was good. We would stay here again for the ocean view and the price point. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t the space for you. If you’re looking for budget friendly and close to the beach with a great pool, I highly recommend.

Needs Work

Although we have a wonderful time as a family the house was really run down and needs of multiple repairs including but limited to loose boards on the balconies Make sure to bring everything you need to cook as the supplies were very limited to the point there was not a operable can opener. We did not have issues with the family staying in unit B as stated in a previous review.

Love how close to the beach this is

Let me start off by saying the property was very close to the beach, clean and has a lot of potential. The staff was friendly as we arrived and hour early and was able to get into the apartment. My friend that I traveled with had a much better experience than I as she got the master suite. I got the room off from the kitchen which was advertised as a en suite- that's not the case. The bathroom is not connected to the room and is so so very tiny. The owners of apartment B are not friendly and wouldn't let us use the lounge chairs as they say the pool is shared (which is too small to be shared and they have a camera out there watching) but the furniture was not. It made it very uncomfortable as you can tell the two owners do not have a good co-owner relationship. The sofa sleeper is broken down the couch cushions are terrible- needs replaced. Finally, the main steps coming up to the apartment have a few soft spots in them and should be replaced as this could be dangerous. The house still uses a key and that's a little inconvenient as I would recommend keyless entry. Beach access needs to be stated more clearly, we had a hard rime finding it. This place does have potential, however, needs some updates- needs to work on the advertising so you know exactly what's rooms are available and the co-owners ship definitely needs work, made us feel very uncomfortable.

A Slice of Paradise

My family loved this property! Everyone thought it was the best vacation we have ever taken and we all enjoyed the house. It was big enough for everyone to have their own space but had plenty of gathering room as well. We were just a short walk to the beach, which was absolutely magical. The house is located close to dining, shopping, and all the usual tourist things, but far enough away that you felt like you had a peaceful oasis from the city. It was also close to several nature parks and preserves, which offered free bikes to peddle around and see the wildlife. We literally saw dolphins from our house the first day! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived.

We all really enjoyed ourselves. All of kids loved it and the walk to the beach was very short, even with a almost 2 year old! We will definitely go back!

Needs updating

The property was in great location very near beach access nice from outside and loved outside washoff place. Inside was fairly clean but the property has a very used feel to it. Carpet was old and very stained. Some places on walls were damaged. Living room furniture(sofa) was very used. And hd a few dishes that were dirty and had to be prewashed. We never turned on a tv. For our purpose which was spending time at beach it worked beautifully. Had a clogged sink and maintenance was out to fix licky split. Apparently property has cameras or something teens saw pool out back and one dipped foot in and within moments we got a call that it was not complete and ready for use.

Cute condo

The place is really cute , however it needs a major redo! The carpet upstairs is stained and looks dirty but it was not dirty. You can tell it weathered a storm and not repaired. The furnishings need a facelift also. Again not dirty!! Master bedroom had a lift bed and our grandson loved the bunk beds.

Great Getaway Condo

With our beach wagon in tow, this condo is located just a short walk to the 13th Street public beach access. Although the beach is literally right across the street, you are encouraged not to trespass on beach-front property owners. We loved being able to bring our pet along. First floor accommodations were perfect for the married couple and pet. Second floor bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We were comfortable in the open kitchen/dining/living room. Dinner and board games were a constant. I would recommend updating the cookware and serving utensils. Glasses, plates, and eating utensils are sufficient. The appliances were all new. Washer and dryer are located upstairs. The stove was not leveled. 😔 We ascertained there weren't any tiles under the back of stove. That needs to be addressed. We only utilized the first floor balcony but there is another balcony off of the main bedroom. The carport is great for grilling (we brought our own pit). We also brought our own table but there is a picnic table available on the carport. Outside shower=wonderful. We would definitely recommend staying at this condo.

Great Location and Space Inside

We had a great time! The property was as expected but not quite as close to the beach as we thought. It was about a 10 minute walk (with little kids and a wagon and supplies in tow) to the public beach access and there were no dogs allowed on the beach. We assumed because dogs were allowed in the house that they would be allowed on the beach... we should not have assumed that. The other slight inconvenience were the amount of sand spurs outside and inside. There were many stuck in rugs and carpets that we couldn't get out that we repeatedly would step on. The dogs often got spurs stuck in their paws when going out. The kids had a hard time with them since they're so young, but older kids would probably be fine. They got used to it but I'd definitely say it was an inconvenience. Last, there wasn't a grill but the kind neighbors next door allowed us to use theirs! Overall though, if you come prepared with shoes to wear at all times while outdoors and know the dogs will be inside and can't go on the beach you'll be good to go! It was a great time had by all!
