Host was excellent at communicating information about the house and area. This helped us to better plan our stay. Communication was always quick and helpful. House was on the beach which was exactly what we wanted. The screened in porch was perfect. House location was in the middle of the outer banks which was convenient to going north to see the sights one day and south the next. Wave Market and Dollar General are close for groceries. I would recommend staying here.

Great little house with a close access to the beach. It was perfect for my partner and I. The owner was available for questions and responded promptly. Highly recommend.

Great place, the trek to the beach ( being 70) was long when carrying umbrellas and chairs. The beach was great and fishing was excellent. The bugs were a little much for the wife, she got bite up but they never liked me. Over all a nice place but would love to see a 2 wheel cart ( with beach wheels) to help get stuff to and from the beach.

Loved the proximity to the beach, we spent a lot of time there. The outdoor shower is a must for getting sand off before going inside. Our day trips from here were great. Very good fishing right in front of cottage. Loved that it wasn’t as touristy as other parts of OBX. The rooftop deck is also great. We loved eating fresh local seafood all week. Thank you for hosting us! This place is perfect for 2 ppl and we love that there are still some smaller cottages so close to the beach bc it seems like the McMansions everywhere are taking over!

We came here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time and house!! Easy entry, clean, comfortable, all the amenities one could need. Perfect location, much more affordable than most others. And our hosts…they are awesome. Seriously such a kind and helpful couple, always responsive and you can tell they just want you to have the best time. We can’t wait to come back every year. Thank you

The cutest beach bungalow! Perfect for our trip, two adults and two teens who go to the beach to fish and swim. Perfect fishing spot and beach wasn’t crowded. Located in proximity to anything you might need. Would stay here again.

Close to nature and the beach!

Perfect location, great views, lovely and private natural setting. A highlight was watching the aurora borealis from the roof deck!

Blue Dune

Wonderful location! Only a short walk to the beach through the dunes. Perfect location to travel to Nags Head or Avon/Buxon. We caught several sharks and a few puppy drum. Great stay with great hosts!

Cozy and tucked away

We absolutely loved this cozy little cottage if you will. Very quiet area right on the water! The owners were very responsive and offered so many ideas! The kids adored it as wel! We hope to rent here again!

A great time on the beach

What a great property. Very nice location with a private beach access. After seeing how crowded the public areas are, this is worth the rental in and of itself. Clean and easy to get to, this is a place we would recommend and return to.

Great Time at the Beach

This is the quintessential beach house. Right on the beach (behind the dunes) very laid back place with all you need to relax, which is what we were going for after a hectic season of work and life. Decor is great, all appliances and AC worked well. Location on beach and in a small, quiet town is just great.

Cute little place. The ocean is just over the dune. The neighborhood was quiet. We were very pleased with it.
