The place was perfect for my bother and I. The view was stunning got too see all kinds of wildlife including dolphins which I was about to capture with my Nikon camera form upper deck!

The property was right on the beach, we could have been closer. We enjoyed sitting on the upper level balcony early mornings and evenings, and sat on the lower, covered balcony during the sunny afternoons. The beach and surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, The house was as advertised. We were really enjoying our stay, but unfortunately had to leave a few days early due to the pending severe storm that washed out the main road to the island just a few hours after we departed. Melissa was very helpful and checked on us upon arrival, answered questions very promptly, and assisted as we watched the weather. We loved the house and hope we can stay there the next time we visit the outer banks.

Perfect mix of remote old school OBX feel and the convenience of a few essentials nearby. Cannot beat the view from the deck!

Nice to be able to enjoy the view without stepping outside the house (it was windy and cold). Lots of room and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great house with a huge open upstairs. One bedroom upstairs in the remainder downstairs, nice bathrooms, and everything we needed for the kitchen. The views are tremendous.

The property was absolutely stunning… waking up to the sound of the ocean and seeing the sunrise through my bedroom window was great. Also, there was plenty of room to accommodate all of our things, e.g., shelving, little tables, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, etc, however, there was barely enough toilet paper to get us through one day there were after all 10 of us. It would’ve also been nice to have a dish towel in the kitchen. The biggest problem we found was the lack of cleanliness. I don’t blame it on the host but I don’t think the housekeepers did their job. There was dog hair on the floors throughout the house. . The ceiling fans were covered in dust and the windows and sliders were dirty.All in all, it was a good experience.

Fantastic view, lovely home, definitely pet friendly! We had an amazing visit and Melissa was kind enough to message me as soon as she found out we had left the grandbaby's teddy bear! Highly recommend!

This is a fabulous home in a fabulous location. The host is exceptionally responsive. One suggestion would be to add some instructions for things like TV operation and refrigerator ice maker operation.
