Renting fall, winter weekends. Oct-end of May available for college students.

Looking for 5 college students each paying $550 or less students splitting the $2,750 per month rent.All will have own furnished bedroom. Includes all utilities, WiFi and snowplowing. Move in date is October 1, or possibly after Labor Day in September and runs until May 31.
Summer info:
Large air conditioned home that can be easily shared with friends or multiple families.
This is a family friendly house and we are not looking to rent to High School graduates looking for a place to get together before going off to college.
2.5 baths. Sleeps 12+. 5 Bedrooms: 1 queen bed in 4 bedrooms, 1 full in 1 bedroom. 1 double futon in upstairs hallway. 5 single beds in the basement which are included in the rental but may take in water during a serve thunderstorm. Master bath has 2 person jacuzzi! Free washer, coin op dryer, outdoor furniture, beach wagon, gas grill and bikes included. Room for 2 cars in the driveway and plenty of street parking. A 10 minute walk to the beach. A short drive to Dunkin' Donuts! Pets considered!! This is a bright, beautiful home. WiFi included!!!!
Renters are responsible for bringing their own sheets and towels as well as doing light housekeeping at the end of your stay. Although we do sanitize between renters, we ask that you leave the house clean. Cleaning supplies are provided.
There is paid parking at the end of my road for the beach!!!!!
Weeks during prime summer, June-August, rent from Saturday-Saturday.

Great Spot

We stayed here for a long weekend with 6 adults and 7 kids. Lots of space for everyone, it was much larger than we expected. Plenty of beds for everyone, although the mattresses were extremely firm with the exception of the one memory foam bed upstairs. It’s about a .5 mile walk to the beach, so keep that in mind if you have smaller children. Overall a great stay, thank you!

Great location, good house for a large group

We stayed here at the end of a 2-week photography tour of downcoast Maine. Great location. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were nice. Plenty of space and parking, close to Duffy's restaurant, which was awesome. Owner was pleasant to work with

Enjoyable Despite Weather

House was more spacious than we had even realized when booking. Close enough to walk to rides and attractions of OOB as well as many different dining options. Weather did not work out in our favor, but overall experience was positive and I would likely book again.

Best summer rental ever!

We absolutely loved this rental...plenty of room for family of 10 and there was extra beds in basement as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and had both coffee maker and keurig along with dishwasher! Plenty of utensils pots n pans et Clothes washer and coin operated dryer helped us out Air conditioners in all 5 bedrooms and living room kept us comfortable Televisions in all bedrooms with cute built in drawers and closets I hope we can rent same place next year

Perfect Family Rental

We were three families travelling together with children. This vacation home was extremely spacious. With 12 people in the home, we were never in each other’s way. The kitchen is well equipped. I was also thrilled to find beach toys for the kids and a wagon to hold our things as we walked to the beach. The outdoor space is small but cozy and perfect. The kids also roasted some marshmallows during our stay (roasting sticks were also provided). I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental for our family.

Great place to stay!

Great for large families that are wanting to stay together. Located near the beach. House was fully stocked with all the amenities: bikes, beach chairs, kitchen utensils, grill, wifi. Our favorite part of the house was the front yard patio with a charming firepit. We spent a lot of time by the fire. Highly recommend this house! The owner, Mike, was very nice and easy to get a hold of to answer any questions. Thanks for the memories Sandy Castle!

Beach stay

The house had a great location, and plenty of room. Communication with the owner was very good. However, there was sand on all the floors, the carpets and hardwood floors were dirty. There was mold in the master shower. He listed a “hot tub” which is really a jacuzzi in the master bath. There was plenty of room and some nice beach toys for the younger kids. The keys didn’t work well AT ALL in the front door. He didn’t seem worried and said he didn’t have any complaints about them before.

Great house for Good Times

We had an awesome week with anywhere from 11 -14 of us there at any one time with still sleeping space to spare. Clean and nicely decorated, large rooms and comfy beds. Plenty of seating for meals both inside and out. Suitable supply of dishes and cookware. AC and fans in all rooms. Owner is very responsive to all needs. Large round table in the basement suitable for playing cards and board games with the family. A 10 minute walk to the beach, maybe 20 minute walk to the pier but who doesn't need the exercise? You can always drive and pay the parking fee if need be which is fairly reasonable. We did make use of the wagon provided which was a big help. I would certainly recommend this rental property to anyone and would consider renting this again if we revisit Old Orchard Beach in the future.

Great Stay, Tons of Room

We had a great time, weather was perfect. More sleeping options then was needed and we had a good sized group up for the 4th. I would definitely recommend for a large group vacation.

Sandy Castle— 2022

The house was as advertised and plenty large enough for my extended family. The owner was responsive and easy to work with for our needs and questions. I would recommend this house to others— especially those who like to cook and eat at home to keep costs down— the kitchen and entertainment space was perfect for that! The one down side was the beds being uncomfortable, and that made for a long week with some stiffness being felt in the mornings. Granted— we have gel mattresses at home and these were spring mattresses so it could just have been part of the issue, so I want to caveat with that. Overall a 4 star stay and we would love to come back again!

Family memories ❤

We had an awesome time at Sandy castle there was plenty of room for 8 adults and 6 children. The house was equipped with everything that we needed, Which was incredibly helpful! I I especially loved how big the kitchen was,and that it overlooked a large living room so we could all get dinner ready together and watch the younger kids play. The beach was a bit of a hike with the younger children in tow, so I would suggest driving to the end of the road and paying the money to park and then walk from there! It was also only a 5 minute drive to the famous pier,where there was something for everyone! Family vacation 2021 in the books.. Thanks Michael 😊

Family vacation

Very spacious house with 4 bedrooms & a nook with a futon on the second floor and a large bedroom on the first floor. The kitchen has a table & a long counter top with stools. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepared meals. There are two refrigerators in the house. AC units & tvs are in all of the bedrooms & living room. Nice fenced in front yard with a fire pit & 2 tables. Overall a very nice house which met all of our needs and expectations for vacation.

Sandy Castle Lived up to Expectations!

We had 15-18 people staying here for a week, and all of us were impressed with the house and the location. With 5 kids, we loved how the basement became the "Kid Cave" where the kids could sleep and have fun. The adults enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, outdoor seating area + fireplace and the large living room was perfect for the family talent show. We also really appreciated the owners leaving bikes and beach equipment for us to use. The house was about a 15-minute walk or 4-minute drive to the beach and convenient to local stores (and a 5-minute walk from an ice cream shop and playgrounds). We are a large diverse family and we all agreed that we'd love to stay here again!

Beyond pictures shown, wonderful rental place!

We loved the house , plenty of room and parking . We had anywhere from 9-11 people and there was room for more . Bikes ,beach chairs , outdoor eating area with 2 tables , at least 1 shaded as the sun rotates. Laundry machines plus clothes lines out the side door. A/C in every room , ceiling fans , beautiful ceiling lightings, wall insert dressers , yes they make the room quite awesomely ! Loved it!

Good house for the price.

This was a great house and honestly the photos here don't do it justice. We had a group of about 10 and then had a few other people come up for a few days at a time and it was perfect for that. All of the rooms upstairs were comfortable and a nice get away from the rest of the people downstairs. There are about 6 beds i believe in the basement but realistically its hard to sleep down there. But this issue could be fixed! The basement had a tendency to be a bit humid, hot and musty so everyone who slept in the basement the first few nights ended up sleeping upstairs on the couches for the second half of the week which was a bit disappointing. There was some sort of ventilation unit in the basement but it didnt seem to work as it would only push out more humid air. Other than that the only other issue we had was the trash situation. With a house that holds well over 10-12 people one recycling bin and one barrel wasnt nearly enough. These are issues that can easily be taken care of and hopefully when we start looking into OOB houses again this winter for next summer these issues will have been addressed and we would gladly rent here again. Our group has already been talking and we really want to rent again next year but we've all come to the conclusion that itd be best to only rent again if these issues are addressed. Other than these small issues this house is great. Mike is a great guy to do business with, he's always around to answer calls and texts and is very professional. The location is decent with a 10 minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to the pier which is a bit of a hike back after a night at the pier but we made it work. Theres a hannafords grocery store about 7 minutes away in Saco, but since were more familiar with it we chose to drive 20 minutes to Biddeford to go to Market Basket instead for our groceries (their prices are the best anywhere) OOB is a great little town and this how was great but with a few changes i really think it could be wonderful! P.S. the cleaning lady was a sweetheart. We made sure the house was spotless for her as the house is very large for one person to clean in the short period of time before the next renters arrived.

Beautiful Vacation Home

This house is amazing with lots of extras! We had 13 people in our party but you could easily sleep 16. It is beautiful home, in a good neighboorhood, it was very clean. However it was a bit of a jaunt to the beach and the pier and other attractions but the walk was good exercise and there is plenty of parking areas to choose from. I would highly recommend this rental to my friends and family.
