48 Howell’s Mere is set in the heart of a nature reserve overlooking a small freshwater lake, 3 storey, 4 bedroom/4 bathroom, +WC, mid terrace, sleeps 8 plus a child in a cot (free of charge, bedding for cot NOT supplied) or z-bed at a supplement of £25.00 (bedding supplied). Ideal for romantic getaways, family holidays, friends’ get-togethers.

Complimentary access to the on-site ArtSpa, a luxury spa with slate lined 20 metre indoor and outdoor heated pools (shut in winter), outdoor plunge eco pool, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms for a range of massages and spa beauty sessions (bookable at an additional cost).
Living area

The covered porch opens into the entrance hall which has oak flooring and a downstairs WC, access to the living area and kitchen.
The open plan living area has full height / full-width glazed windows with views over the lake. Sliding doors open with access to the south-west facing deck. The living area provides ample space for family life, entertaining, dining and catching the evening sun. A contemporary "Scandi" style wood burning stove (logs not included) provides the focal point of the sitting area which has a 6 seat corner sofa with chaise longue and additional footstool.

Blu-ray/DVD player provided with a selection of family movies, guidebooks and board games. A Samsung 43 inch TV with Ultra HD content, Smart Channels including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Apple TV (subscriptions required) with Bose SoundBar, Smart channels. Free high speed fibre broadband wi-fi provided throughout.

Outside deck area to rear of property with 8 seat rattan cube set. Includes table, 4 armchairs and 4 stools which can be used as footstools or as additional seats, one of which opens up as an ice bucket to store cold drinks. Deck area which is shared with neighbouring properties is partitioned with trellis to allow privacy overlooking the shared lawn area and the lake.

Well-equipped kitchen with fridge and a freezer. Granite work surfaces. The kitchen is also complete with dishwasher as well as a washing machine with dryer. Neff gas hob with an electric oven and a microwave oven.

Second floor:

Large landing with sky-light window.

Bedroom 3 Double bed with ensuite bath with shower, shower screen and heated towel rail. Bedside tables with lamps and fitted oak wardrobes.

Bedroom 4 – Lake view, king size bed with ensuite bath with shower, shower screen and heated towel rail. Two large chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps and desk/ dressing table and chair.

Dogs are not allowed at this property.

A guaranteed late pm check out is available on Sunday at no extra cost, as late pm as you wish.

Please note that from 1st October to 31st March access to the lakes is suspended in order to protect the over-wintering bird population. This restriction applies to kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming.

7 nights from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday
4 nights midweek minimum from Monday to Friday
3 nights weekend from Friday to Monday
2 nights weekend minimum from Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday

Absolutely lovely place to stay, so pleasant and peaceful, but lots of watersports and swimming for the kids so they were tired out and happy and the adults got peace and were happy!

We had a lovely weekend with friends . The house was fully equipped - beds comfy and plenty of room to accommodate us all easily. We used the swimming pool indoor and outdoor and hired paddle boards. Perfect weekend break with all the amenities you need on site.

This relationship is vital to the business as it ensures that she retains a family-like, yet professional, manner right to the core of the business and deeply cares for the value our product.

All the properties are third party owned second homes, namely, that they are owned by private individuals generally for the benefit of their immediate family but are also let out through us to defray the costs of running & maintaining the properties and therefore are often furnished in an individual & personal way with no two properties fitted out the same. Guests return year on year & can enjoy a different experience each time & select a property that best fits the requirements of the guests they plan to bring along, old or young. Due to the eclectic mix of owners each property has its own lively charm and feels like an actual home, rather than a prescribed holiday environment put together by a corporate design team. We aim to offer stunning holiday homes to add to any occasion.

After leaving recruitment, Kasha began her own agency business in 2011 setting up Cotswolds Spa Holidays with a portfolio of just 3 rental properties offering a boutique high end service for discerning guests.

Surrounded by picturesque Cotswold villages, historic market towns and an area of lakes larger than the Norfolk Broads, the stunning, natural landscape is tough competition for our fabulous lakeside holiday homes & a catchment of some 20 million potential guests within 2 hours by car. The area is renowned for its wildlife and the range of activities available.
