Location is everything! Approximately 100 yards to the Shock Hill gondola station, it is the closest home to the private gondola mid-station in Shock Hill. Everyone can come and go as they please. Whether you downhill or cross-country ski (this home is also located on the Breckenridge Nordic Center trail system) ski or snowboard, you and your group will be able to enjoy the convenience of location. Perfect for families with non-skiers too, since the gondola runs all day so it is easy to access downtown for free! No need to worry about parking...

You and your family will experience luxurious mountain modern living in this brand new 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home with 6 HDTVs! Designer decorated with the highest quality appointments, counter tops, fixtures and appliances offering many extraordinary features. The wrap around deck includes an extra large Hot Springs hot tub and a gas firepit perfect for relaxing after a long day on the mountain!

Each beautifully appointed room has been professionally designed and decorated. In addition to the beautiful appointments and sumptuous bedding, each bedroom has its own bathroom and 40' 1080p flat screen HDTV, excepting the the master bedroom, which has a 55' HDTV. The Hearth Room has a 40' HDTV with Blu-ray, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and a Wii (bring your own games). Additionally, we have a work station complete with a fax machine, printer, copier and whole house WiFi so you will be able to conduct business as usual.

Love to cook? Then you'll be thrilled with the kitchen! All gourmet appliances including; 48' Wolf gas range, 60' Thermador refrigerator/freezer, Asko dishwasher and tons of extras. This kitchen is fully stocked right down to a food dehydrator! The spacious Great Room has a 57' 1080p LCD flat screen HDTV, surround sound, Blu-Ray player. This home is fully integrated with a Colorado Vnet system controlled by touch screens throughout the house, You can adjust your music including Sirius satellite radio, humidifier, climate, window treatments, and lighting. Additionally, this home has 2 gas fireplaces, a hydrotherapy bath tub with heated backrest, steam shower, designer soaking tub and an 8 head Kohler water tile shower system where you can customize your shower experience!

The home has a two-car heated garage which is completely finished with a epoxy floor. For your convenience, the owners have installed ski and snowboard racks, changing benches, 10 pairs of boot dryers, hooks for outerware, storage for helmets and other gear. Your gear will always be dry and ready to go!

house was great but confusion management

The description needs more information regarding the bedrooms downstairs. The downstairs is tiny. There is a massive master bedroom, which is fantastic, but all other rooms, including the second master is without any privacy.

An awesome ski week!!

Love the place. Location is phenomenal. Very cozy. Kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub was amazing after skiing. The owner is exceptional!!!

Lovely home

A beautiful home with all the perfect amenities. A few things need attention which kept us from enjoying all the amenities. Check in we were able to enter the property on arrival from the code sent the day before. I called Scott with the number provided to let him know our arrival time. We heard nothing back for several hours. Upon arrival. We realized our phones did not work. We could not access the wi fi because the wrong passcode was left in the unit. Therefore we were unable to sign in to our account to contact anyone for help. No manual was anywhere to explain the smart home. Took us quite sometime to figure out on our own how to simply turn on the lights. Once finally were able to get in touch with Host and got on the wi fi we were able to figure things out. Better communication from manager Scott would have improved our first impression immensely!

Great house, broken hot tub.

We arrived in Denver EARLY. Did our shopping etc. Kept checking VRBO access information but it never came. Finally after sitting in the driveway for about 40 minutes, a number appeared to contact the owner. It was really a number to the house manager Scott. He seemed surprised we were there - even though it was well after 4:00. He gave us access codes to enter and walked us through a couple of things on the phone. We saw all of these power cords around the hot tub and chairs ontop. We removed them, removed the cover, only to discover it broken and mid repair. We called the house manager and he said "Oh, so it never got fixed? I guess I'll have to negotiate with the owners to get a new one". The ice maker is also broken, so purchase ice at the store. One of the owners, reached out to us apologizing, saying she was unaware the hot tub was not functioning. A private hot tub was our primary reason for not staying at One Ski Hill Place. We've rented this home before. Perks: great layout, nice decor, TV's and games everywhere. Steam shower, jetted tub, and smart shower in various bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked with spices, dishes, pots, pans, machines etc. Welcome gift had popcorn, hot chocolate, vitamin C drink, magazine about town, blistex, cookies, hand warmers, etc. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioners, and body wash - enough for a week, that was a bonus! We let the owners know that many lights of this smart house were out etc and I feel they will make sure things are repaired and replaced. The quality of beds, linens, pillows, towels, napkins are as nice as I have in my own home. Slept better on the master bed than any hotel bed. The hot tub repair man came out several times a day and worked hard to get the tub parts replaced and thawed. The owners offered to give us dinner out, or an excursion as an apology. The first night, I was so dissapointed that I found a house in the neighborhood for way less, with an operational hot tub - I tried to switch but that was not an option - unfortunately. If you are like us...and never get sore from 8:30 til 4:30 skiing all day if you have a hot tub...make sure it is working. Otherwise this is a great house, awesome location with a gondola stop yards away. Heated garage that double as a mudroom for skiis, boot warmers etc. Charge the red ipad so you can have music throughout the house. Fireplace in greatroom and master - remote switches. Comfortable elegance.

Beautifully appointed home, excellent location.

We were very pleased with our stay and experience in renting this property. Our reservations and check-in were handled very professionally and the property manager was very responsive to our needs during our stay. Our family was very comfortable in this beautiful home and loved the location within a block of the gondola station. We would highly recommend it!

Wonderful home and great proximity to town & the mountain!

We stayed at the home in early August and it was a perfect location to downtown and the mountain. The space of the home was wonderful - master on the top floor just off the foyer, with beautiful views in every room on the main, and 3 additional rooms on the lower level each with a bathroom making it convenient for families or multiple guests. You can see the gondola from the kitchen, living room, and balcony space and it's a 3 minute walk from the front door to take down to town or up the mountain. Fireplace, hot tub, and an outdoor dining table make it enjoyable to relax outside in the warmer months. Easy access to hiking trails just off the road and can cruise into town in less than 5 minutes! Highly recommend this space for a large group or family.

Beautiful!

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for- modern, perfect kitchen for cooking, short walk to the gondola for skiing and a quick ride to Breck Village. The hot tub hit the spot after ski days and we loved the choices of games for family games nights. Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot for our family!

Perfect Ski Week!

We had a wonderful ski week at this beautiful property. We really appreciated all of the 'ski' amenities in the garage and the stocked kitchen. We love to cook and we love to ski so we were all set! Can't wait to come back!

Perfect location! Beautiful Interior!

The house is one block from gondola which goes right into town. Amazing view in master bedroom. Great kitchen and fridge for cooking with a large group. Property management staff was great and very responsive. Hot tub was great and loved the outdoor gas fire pit. Would rent again absolutely as we visit every year.

The house is modern and beautiful, but is not ski in/ski out.

The house is clean, beautiful and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has everything you need. The owner is very kind. The fireplace was not working. The house is not ski in/ski out, as it said in the title. You have to walk one block to the gondola that takes you to the base of peak 8.

Great family Thanksgiving

Luxury chalet, tasteful furnishings, well-equipped and very close to gondola up to ski or down to the town. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Great location for a family stay.

Great house, great location

Stayed here with some friends for a weekend of fly fishing and hiking. Great place - walking distance to DT Breckenridge or to the gondola (just know that the gondola will not be in service if the ski runs are not active). Perfect driving distance to great hikes, from moderate to 14ers. If you need anything from in town (such as when we were looking for a fishing guide), the property manager seems to know everyone and can point you where you need to go. Also, house is gorgeous - the hot tub is ready when you arrive - and the owner makes sure you have local support if anything needs attention. Myself and my friends highly recommend!

Perfect House for a Ski Vacation!

We just spent our Spring Break in this house. It is wonderful! The location is perfect for skiing, just a short walk to the Gondola and a quick Gondola ride to the slopes (about 10 minutes from house to ski area). We could come home easily for lunch and a break. We loved the hot tub and fire pit after skiing. This house has so many great features like boot warmers, heated garage, sound system, and a stocked kitchen. The views are wonderful and the house is beautiful. Would definitely love to stay here again!

the Perfect Vacation

We recently stayed in this beautiful home and the experience was a wonderful one. The home itself exceeded our expectations, very clean and spacious, and with all the small details taken care of...right down to a basket of fluffy towels for the hot tub. We were met promptly upon arrival, and shown exactly where to find everything and how everything worked. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with, as was his assistant who coordinated all of the details and kindly answered questions for us throughout our stay (thank you Bryan and Emily!). The location could not have been more perfect, a quick three minute walk to the gondola which provided easy access to both town and mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to come back in the future.

Beautiful place, great time

We had five adults and three children stay for a week and found the home just as described. It is very convenient to the slopes and in an area that offers a lot of privacy. Very much enjoyed the kitchen and open floor plan on the first level as well as the large master bedroom. The setup in the garage functions very well and makes the transition from to/from skiing very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

A little piece of heaven!

This house was a little piece of heaven. We had two families with 5 kids between us (ages 4-15). There were plenty of spaces for everyone! And everything was de-luxe! All the little extras made it so easy to unwind and relax. Everything is better than as it's described! The pictures are good representation of the property. We sat in the hot tub at the end of a long day of skiing, listening to music on outdoor speakers and waving at gondola riders. Plenty of room to manage skis and boots and bulky jackets in the garage. Plenty of room to spread out and eat snacks, play games or check emails. Lots of room in the kitchen for two or three people to cook. And the location can't be beat! Walked to the gondola to ski every day. Took the gondola down to town to walk around and sight see. You can see lifts and ski runs from the bedroom windows. Absolutely beautiful! And the staff was available for any little thing that we needed. Definitely worth it. We hope to be visiting here again!

The Perfect Family Vacation!

Bryan and Susan, We'd like to personally thank you for offering us your beautiful home for our family vacation. We had an amazing time and will definitely return to Breckenridge (and hopefully your home) in the future. Everything was just as you stated, if not better, and we will always cherish the memories made during our vacation on Shock Hill. My wife and I enjoyed our mornings in master suite looking out the picture windows at the mountains as we drank our coffee, and the adults enjoyed every evening under the stars in the hot tub. Minimal television was watched as we didn’t want to waste a second of the beautiful outdoors...and the weather was perfect. We all enjoyed morning walks around Cucumber Gulch and got to know the town center of Breckenridge well…we loved the Crepe’s ala Cart and the French pastry/coffee shop. My brother-in-law and I took several trips south to Antero Reservoir float tube fishing and caught enough trout for an amazing dinner. The kids loved the hikes, spotting the animal tracks and “scat”, and playing in the snow during our hikes up Loveland and Boreas Pass. All in all, a perfect vacation and I can’t thank you enough. Terrifc Experience

Fabulous week at a great home. We had eight people who were all very comfortable. The location makes it so easy to ski. The home has many little amenities (like ski racks in the garage and boot warmers, etc.) that you cannot appreciate until you get there. Everything worked. Nothing broke down. Professional managment and and owners. We will be back next year.

PERFECTION

There really is no other word to describe this beautiful on-mountain home (impressive also comes to mind!). I frequent Summit County ski resorts for work and pleasure...this home truly has it all! Decor is modern, but warm and inviting; amenities are second to none; location is perfect for "getting away", but being close to activities and downtown Breck; owners are helpful and accomodating. This visit was for business and we were all blown away; perfect spot for entertaining and relaxing. I can't wait to bring the family back! For any that have concerns about how true the home is to what is shown (always a concern of mine); while the pictures are beautiful, just wait until you see it for yourself!! Extremely close to the Breck-Connect gondola pick-up...10 mins (5 of which are on gondola) and you're on the hill!
