Beautiful historic home lovingly renovated. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee and other nice surprises for our stay. The hosts are available and responsive to any communication. The location is very private and safe.

We loved staying in this charming historic cottage. Very quaint home with lots of charm and character. Lovely gated neighborhood. Parking was easy. Kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. So many kitchen supplies available to the guest. The hosts were above and beyond on communication.

We loved our stay!!! It was like we stepped back in time to an ancestors Farmhouse with air conditioning and all the comforts of home. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay right down to the fire pit out back. Very close to many things of interest. We were greeted with scrumptious treats for us and our fur babies. What a nice surprise! We wanted to meet our wonderful host that lives on the property, and they did not disappoint, what a genuine loving couple!!! Thank you for our stay at your beautiful home!! We will be back.

Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend. They’re in the property but out of sight. Very responsive. The property was very unique and charming. Very quiet. The neighborhood overall is very peaceful.

Absolutely amazing! Very convenient location for competing at TRYON. Beautiful home with rich history in a secure gated community- but you don’t see neighbors. Wonderful hosts (on property if needed) left a goodie basket for us, treats for our dog, and even some essentials (coffee creamer was a huge hit for this horse show momma). House has everything you could need. Plenty of towels, full kitchen with coffee makers, air fryer, and microwave plus full washer and dryer. I can’t say enough about this awesome place to stay!

Host was wonderful! Answered all of questions immediately and told stories of the historical house and grounds.Place was very clean and interesting. Lots of deer and turkeys around. Very charming. Place was well stocked with anything you might need including a lovely bottle of wine. Comfortable beds!

Great Stay!

Property is super cute and quiet. Hosts could not be more accommodating! Were in town to go to TIEC and location is great. Highly recommend.

Historic Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the historic Farmhouse! It was just as listed and pictured, and hosts were wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered to find an array of goodies for us and the dogs!

This little gem is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again this year! We love that it is pet friendly & clean as well as cozy and has lots of character. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Lovely historic home and fantastic hosts

Truly loved and appreciate the historic home, the effort the owners devoted to restoring the home and country surroundings. The host provided “goodies”, including a holiday cookie and an abundance of coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for TIEC Horse Shows

We stayed at the gorgeous old farmhouse for a week during the summer horse shows at the Tryon equestrian center. The location was very convenient and the owners were very helpful and wonderful to work with. The home was clean and it was so unique to stay in such a historic property. We will definitely stay again!

Great little spot

We rented this cabin for an event at Tryon Equestrian Center. We were very pleased with the location of the home, the character of the home, and the cleanliness. The owners were very nice and despite being next door respected our privacy completely. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Fantastic place

We loved this place! This is a lovely house with a lot of history, but with all modern amenities, too. The setting is gorgeous and we all felt very safe there. I loved sitting on the back deck in the morning, and in the afternoon watching the deer eat in the yard. It's an extraordinary place and I would recommend it highly.

Wonderful home in the mountains

We were in town for a horse show at TIEC and stayed here for the weekend. The Hosts were amazing and left us goodies to enjoy when we arrived (the kids loved this special touch!). The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful! There was nothing more we could have asked for except for more time here! We will be back!

Tryon horse show getaway

We all just loved the historic farmhouse! It’s big and cozy and the hosts are without a doubt the most accommodating hosts I’ve ever stayed with! You are close in, but feel worlds away.

Amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Perfect location for events at TIEC, charming, cozy, and clean property, and wonderfully hospitable hosts! Lots of nice touches - kitchen was stocked with coffee, snacks, juice, bottled water, chocolates and cookies! And the history of the home is amazing! Will definitely return!

I loved the house and area. So much history, comfort, and privacy. My grown sons were with me and are making plans to come back with spouses. The grandchildren want to return also we had a grand time

Beautiful property!

What a wonderful stay! Three women for a weekend visit to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and we had a great time. The pictures do not do this property justice, it is lovely and quaint. The owners stocked it with all our basic necessities which was wonderful. The history was fascinating. If you are looking to stay in the area, do yourself a favor and book it!
