- loved the fireplace- 2 1/2 baths was nice- loved cabin’s “homey feeling” and decor- kitchen was well supplied- wood working was beautiful- liked that some quilts were handmade- cabin was very spacious… lots of room- pleased with our stay and would go back

This is a great property along the Root River Trail. Very clean and comfortable and the owners are very responsive and accommodating. We’ve stayed here several times and will be back again!

We did a 2 night Girls Getaway and loved this beautiful cabin. There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom, which was a plus. It was hard to leave, but we will return and spend more time just visiting and enjoying ourselves hanging out at the cabin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Root River Cabin. The property is beautiful and comfortable and Renee was a terrific host. The trip was everything we hoped it would be. We’ll be back!

This property is beautiful!! We went for a sibling reunion, we needed this size of a space. Everything was lovely! The host was accessible & responded quickly via email, and even called when we were having difficulty getting there due to road closures. We would 1000% recommend this property!!

We loved this stay. Beautiful house in the woods. Loved sitting out on the porch in the swinging basket chairs. A great location to explore the surrounding area. The home was very clean and well stocked. A great place to reconnect with long time friends.

The property is very quiet in a secluded location but yet only minutes from Lanesboro. I had a couple questions for the owner after we arrived, which were promptly answered. I was with 3 other women so it was nice to each have our own bed and 2 of us in each bathroom worked out really well. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The property was in a beautiful setting and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the homemade quilts. Kitchen was well equipped. The house is right off the biking walking trail. Lots of opportunities for walking.

Cabin was comfortable and as described. Recycling was left in the kitchen upon check-in and some minor deep cleaning issues (like interior cob webs and fridge crumbs), but it didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay.

The recycling in the kitchen was cardboard to help start a fire in the fire pit. My granddaughter is cleaning and is young and new to this but I will speak to her about the other issues. Thanks! Renee
