Located at Bernard's Landing on gorgeous Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia with long views of the lake and incredible views of the Smith Mountain. This one bedroom, one-bathroom condo comes equipped with a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, and access to clubhouse amenities including indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis and pickleball courts, racquetball, and sandy beach. Enjoy five-star dining onsite at the Landing Restaurant.

Maximum Occupancy: 2 ADULTS

Conveniently located within driving distance to area wineries and shopping.

Fishermen will love this property. We have a large field to park your trailer and 6 floating slips to dock your boat. Slips are first come - first serve but I have never seen all slips occupied. There is also an electrical supply where you can charge your battery. $20/day for boat & trailer stickers.

What an amazing quick getaway! Hubby and I just wanted to spend some quality time together. We had the most relaxing time walking the property or staying indoors and enjoying the view but we also caught a movie and went to the Booker T. Washington monument and plantation. Easy check in, comfortable stay with perks from the host. Overall great stay!

Valentine getaway

Perfect winter getaway for my husband and I. Very clean, had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We didn't use the amenities but the indoor pool and gym looked very nice. Restaurant onsite was incredible. Owner communication was great. Definitely recommend.

Great place to go!

Property owner does really good job of having the unit setup for renters. Very responsive. Snacks, bottles of water, dishwasher pods, washing machine pods, linens and towels, Keurig with pods, trash bags, tp, paper towels, etc already there for you. Great view too. Always enjoy Bernard’s Landing. Great golf nearby.

Great Place To Stay

Very nice and cozy.. Mattress is a little wore out woke up with back pains both days... Tripod was broken so we couldn't set it up.. But very nice place very clean. Would stay here again hopefully a mattress upgrade is in the near future..

There are beautiful views, plenty to do, delicious meals at the Napoli Restaurant which is in walking distance. Roger is a thoughtful host making check-in, communication and house rules very streamlined. Thank you, Roger!

Lovely View of the Lake and the Mountains

Smith Mountain Lake is not just beautiful; it also affords welcome peace and quiet. We do enjoy staying at Bernard’s Landing, in particular, and do appreciate the use of the Club House there. The unit, which is on the third floor (our preferred location), is a very nice one. We do appreciate the complementary coffee, tea and water, as well as a good supply of bath and swim towels! The kitchen is very nice, and I would suggest that some of the pots and pans may need to be replaced due to prior use. We are very glad that we stayed there for Thanksgiving this year!

Love the Club House

While the view is excellent. I really enjoy the Club House. I enjoy the workout room and then the saunas. Just wonderful!!!

Quick get-away

We arrived fairly early Friday afternoon and were stunned by the views from the condo as well as the condo itself. Everything was nicely put together, the owner supplied a lot of useful information and the whole establishment was peaceful and quite. The whole stay was very restful. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen was amazing; I only have two suggestions. The first is main kitchen outlet, it’s overloaded and if it doesn’t throw the breaker, it may well short. The second pertains to the supplied cookware. It appears uncaring individuals may have thrown the non-stick pans into the dishwasher or used metal utensils on them. Some of the plastic utensils may need to be re-evaluated and the knives need a sharpening.

Great view

First impression wasvery positive. It was what I was hoping for. A beautiful escape. Don't know how Roger arranged it, but even the weather was perfect! The unit was larger than i expected. Very comfortable and well decorated. The only things i missed were clocks (living room annd bedroom), simply battery wall clocks, and larger water glasses, although the wine glasses did offer a touch of elegance. I look forward to staying there again.

Great getaway

Great condo overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the condo and going for walks around the area. Husband enjoyed fishing from the docks.

Fantastic!

Coming from our home with so much drought, it was so green and beautiful! The lake views are fantastic. Napoli’s restaurant was only open on one of our days, but very tasty. The unit was very clean and has everything you need. Roger. The owner, was very informative and always available with any questions. 😊

Cozy condo with a nice deck

Clean, comfy condo with a nice view. Access to indoor and outdoor pool. Little beach front with sandy bottom near by. Tasty restaurant on site. Owner was very helpful and responded quickly. Would say here again.

I have upgraded my condo every year for the last several years which includes the heat pump, dishwasher, Trex Deck, furniture, television in living room and in bedroom, and jew flooring in the kitchen/living room/dining area. My housekeeper does an excellent job and focuses on sanitizing.

Everyone says they love the views of the Bernards property plus the lake and the mountains from the penthouse floor. The lake views are of the main channel and longer views up the Blackwater. Nikon binoculars on a tripod help you view the lake from a distance.
