We had a lovely stay, the property was clean and cozy. There were so many thoughtful supplies available. Coffee on the balcony overlooking the lake was such a gorgeous way to start the morning. Thank you!

This was the first time using this site and Katie was a pleasure to work with. Everything went smoothly. Katie was very easy to communicate with and she got back to me quickly with any questions that I had. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will be recommending her condo to friends and family. We also will be returning.

We enjoyed our visit to Smith Mountain Lake. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed. Katie communicated effectively, promptly and courteously.

Awesome location, really cool layout to the Condo, and great view! Everything was spotless, clean, cozy and they even had some coffee there for us to use!

It was a great experience, my girlfriend and I with definitely be a customer in the future for sure. It was soooooo cozy and accommodating, it felt like a breath of fresh air/ 5 stars hands down !

Great weekend getaway for us, quiet and wonderful view, especially the sunset. Very clean and well kept and had everything we needed, and Katie was a pleasure to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

I came to SML for a quick hiking trip and this condo was perfect for my stay. It was so cute with a nice view overlooking the lake. Perfect place if you're traveling solo like I was or for a couple's trip. The hosts were so kind, responded quickly and also gave great recommendations when I asked about suggestions for dining options. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Katie’s place is an example of extremely efficient use of space, topped with a fantastic awning covered porch and beautiful view of gorgeous Smith Mountain Lake. We used one of their kayaks by putting it in the rear of our Prius to get it down to the ramp and back up to the kayak storage spot. It was lovely to be out on the still water on a weekday morning in May!Thanks, Katie, for your very quick response when we needed a code. It was a lovely getaway!

Our weekend was wonderful. Katie was very responsive to our requests and the decor and use of space was great. Loved the covered porch with great views of the lake. Look forward to another visit.

The communication with the host was awesome. She responded very quickly once the reservation was made and to questions that I had. She also checked in with us the first day of our stay to make sure everything was satisfactory.

The condo was clean and communication with the owner was wonderful. There is easy access to the pool and it was very refreshing. We enjoyed some nice dining and appreciate the recommendations. Napoli was the best!! We chose this particular condo because we hoped to use the kayaks that were advertised as available. After much deliberation and walking the route that would be required to get the kayaks to the water and back we decided not to give it a go. This was disappointing. Also, the description listed the availability of Netflix. We were never able to get a connection. Not a big deal but another small disappointment.

Regarding the kayaks — our guestbook does outline that a hill is involved in getting them to the water, but we appreciate the nudge to make that more prominent in the listing itself so future guests can plan accordingly. We also welcome guests to contact us during their stay if anything comes up. On the WiFi, we advertise this property as an "unplug" retreat and note that connectivity can be spotty during peak times, which can affect streaming — but that's another area we'll look at clarifying more clearly upfront. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to host you again!

This little condo was in immaculate condition when we checked in!!! Although we visited in the fall when the weather was cool, it was still beautiful to sit on the balcony and take in the view of the lake. In the room, there was pretty much anything you’d need to cook with (utensils, pots/pans, etc), towels, soaps, fresh bedsheets, one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! My favorite feature overall is the fireplace. Since it was so chilly, the extra heat and view of the electric fireplace added a nice cozy touch when it got dark outside. I think the pictures don’t serve this condo justice, it was beautiful inside and out! We even saw a family of deer the next morning just hanging out in the parking lot, super cool to witness!! It’s very quiet out here. The only issue we had was actually finding the room, but that may have been our fault and due to the fact that it was already dark outside when we first arrived. This condo is tucked in a corner of the main floor (not the very bottom) all the way to the left and decorated super cute! I will definitely be staying here for much longer during the summertime. This stop was just a short overnight stay as part of a much larger road trip, but we are definitely talking about coming to this cabin next summer for some lake activities!!

This property was in a beautiful spot on the lake. There were so many extra touches that Katie and Mike provide that made it feel like a home away from home. Every space is well utilized and without clutter, made it feel bigger than it was. The balcony overlooking the lake/pool/mountains had comfortable furniture which gave an extra living space which we took advantage of. The shower had a really nice shower head and great water pressure. The area was quiet and relaxing, with more owners than renters there the weekend we were there. The resort area was well maintained and pool/restrooms clean. Area restaurants were a 10 minute drive away. We had great communication with Katie from the time our reservation was accepted until the time we left. I would not think twice about choosing this property again.
