Voted a Tropical paradise perched among native banyon trees.
Wake to the sound of sea birds in this tropical paradise. Private fenced yard, fire pit, hammick and swings just steps to famous Pine ave’s shops and eateries. Walk 7-9 minutes to the beautiful calm Bayside beach & Anna Maria pier, then 4 minute beach walk south takes you to Rod and Reel fishing pier & restaurant pub where water life is seen daily, fishing rods and bait available . Walk further (4 minutes) to “ Bean Point" Beach voted as one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world.


Just steps to historic Pine Ave. with quaint shops, restaurants, bike, kayak, and small motor vehicle rentals that is blocks to Annamaria gulf beach public access’s at the end of every street. Famous sandbar restaurant and bar on the beach. Also Bortells local sports bar for late night outings.
Beach gear is provided, however sometimes guests leave items out or at beach....
Small pets have a fenced yard to explore. Sprinklers do come on during the week early in the morning for a couple hours.
There is a laundry room in my Separate mother in law quarters downstairs for guests use staying more than 3 days.

** I live in Georgia but there are times that I stay in my "separate" quarters downstairs, It is a separate entrance and air system. If this is an issue, please let me know at the time of your request as I am always able to visit my family during your stay.
There is a small WATER ACCESS dock steps down our road that leads out to the Anna Maria pier … launch your rental kayak, paddle board or park a jet ski or small boat overnight with prearranged permission . Outdoor fire bundle is available for the yard fire pit $ 10 if requested in advance. An extra bedroom may be available for elderly quests or pets for a additional fee and only upon availability and approval. Gas bbq. Regular coffee pot , blender . Smart tv and in master bedroom and family room .

We had a lovely stay. It was 8 of us and we stayed for 3 days for my boyfriend’s birthday. The location is great, it’s just close enough to the beach. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. Kim communicated well, as does her property manager, which even helped us by getting us some paper towels when we ran out. The only thing I was a little disappointed by was that the property was missing the hammock in the backyard, but the property manager explained to me it was damaged with one of the recent hurricanes. We understand! It was a great stay, we would definitely go back.

Great Stay

The house felt tucked away and private. The banyon tree is beautiful. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and beaches. Was just what we were looking for.

The property is lovely and has an excellent location. There are several small things that could be improved upon, however my family and I would be happy to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay in the house. The house was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Its location was excellent with walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. There was ample parking. The owner's communication was excellent.

An Idyllic Getaway

The property itself is a lush, relaxing place perfect for spending time on the island. It is within easy walking distance of anything and everything you would want to come to Anna Maria for. I couldn’t imagine having a better experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The ambiance of the property and the uniqueness of the house were fantastic. Kim's property is full of character, which made for a special stay. She was also very, very responsive to our needs while there. We hope to stay there again very soon, and many times in the future...

Weekend family gathering

Lovely house - upper floor surrounded by trees and greenery. Very private and quiet area - great location for restaurants, shops and the beach. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. We rented a golf cart which was delivered to the house - great for traveling around the island. Would definitely stay here again!!

Booking was easy. We needed to add an additional day because our vacay started earlier than we planned. Kim was very accommodating getting us set up to arrive a day early. The house was easy to find. Nice loop around driveway covered in the shade to unpack. Getting into the house was easy. Instructions were clear. First impression walking in was that we were in paradise. The house was very clean, organized and welcoming. Everything you need is already provided down to the spices. We loved the beach vibe decor! The landscaping is beautiful with all the giant banyun trees. The location is great as it puts you at the north end of the island. We brought our own ebikes to scoot around the island. The beach and the shops were all minutes away. This was our first VRBO experience. We definitely lucked out with this property and the owner Kim. We plan to revisit on a yearly basis.PS-Thank you kim.

All things considered, we had a very pleasant stay. The property is exactly as described and the owner is promply responsive to any issues. All the necessary appointments are there and the accomodations were more than adequate.

Cute hideaway

This is a great property in a neighborhood tucked in surrounding trees for privacy and shade. The online listing is a good representation and the checkin/out process was easy. The only minor negative was trying to figure out the TV (which I never did).

Great house and great location

Loved the house, communication with the host was excellent very fast to reply. The house was very comfortable even though i don't think can sleep 8. I would say 6 2 king beds and the sofa sleeper. But we are very happy with our stay. Would definitely come back.

Very private!

We wanted a quiet place to just relax and this house did not disappoint us! Our little dog loved the fenced yard! We originally were going with friends who canceled on us but there would have been plenty of room. The rooms were spacious with everything we needed for the weekend. Thank you Kim!

Wonderful---

We absolutely loved staying here. The location is perfect. It was quiet, yet close to a lot of activity. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we could need. Kim did a great job communicating and suggesting activities. We can't say enough about the open porch overlooking the yard. Sitting out there with a morning coffee or evening drink became our go to activity. If you are looking for a natural Florida oasis, this is it.

Quiet, Relaxing, Private Cottage on AMI

A midweek respite under large banyon trees. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed with all needed items. We utilized the beach chairs to watch a beautiful sunset on Bean Beach a brief walk away. Our sleep was restful and refreshing. Delicious homemade donuts and coffee just down the block. Check out Hurricane Jacks for dinner. The cottage is central to both the Gulf and Tampa Bay. We rented a golf cart for island travel - very convenient.

This is a beautiful home

We had a great stay. The house looked even better in person than online! It was so close to everything. Golf carts were a little pricy, but the closest one to Crescent Drive does off military/police discounts. We loved that we could walk to the beach. There is a canal that we got to see a manatee swimming in. There are two close piers within driving distance, and the golf carts come in handy for those short drives and parking. We would definitely recommend this house.

Boho chic

Great location to be right around the corner from Pine Ave, easy access to all the shops and restaurants. We rented a golf cart that made it convenient to go everywhere on the Island. The place was somewhat dated with older furnishings, the rugs should all be replaced along with the sofa bed and chair. But the price was good for a short getaway. This was on the upper level which I did not see indicated on the listing and it made it a little difficult for my older mother but we all had a fabulous time. Great space for a family & we loved the outside porch for our morning coffee. Just know that it is very boho chic and could use some refreshing.

Perfect Birthday/Holiday Getaway

My family (6 adults) stayed here for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. The spacious kitchen & large island that overlooks the living room was so perfect for gatherings. The porch was lovely for unwinding, grilling, reading, drinking coffee or tea, or listening to the island birds sing their beautiful songs. Beds were comfy, rooms spacious, strong water pressure with enough hot water for 6 of us. Great location for shopping or eating on Pine Street, early morning joe on the City Pier, or walking across the island to the Gulf. Our dogs absolutely LOVED the large, fenced yard. We had SO MUCH FUN at this perfect beach house which we affectionately called “ours”. It was love at first site the moment we walked in the door. I could easily live out the remainder of my years in this beautiful, happy place. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.
