10 MILES TO WEST GLACIER PARK ENTRANCE!

A quick 10 mile drive on a mostly four lane highway and you are at the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park to enjoy your adventure in paradise. Welcome to Glacier Lilac Lodge ~ a comfortable 2200 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, located in Hungry Horse. The home is in a wooded, private, quiet area.

My Montana family has been in the tourism business for many years and have several vacation rentals in the area. For a 3 bed/2 bath home, look no further than Glacier Lilac Lodge.

This split level home has six steps up to the kitchen, dining room, living room, and the master bedroom and bath. The floors have all been updated with faux wood laminate. The master bedroom has a new Sealy Posturepedic king size bed for a good night's rest. A full bath is right outside your bedroom door. From the front door entrance, go downstairs for your two bedrooms with queen beds on Montana made log frames. A full bath is situated nearby. There is a recreational room with a TV and plenty of games. If you have teens or couples, it is nice as you each have your own space! The washer/dryer and laundry sink are downstairs.

The upstairs has air conditioning that keeps the home cool during hot days (which there are not enough of!) and the lower lever stays cool on its own.

The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Drink your morning coffee on your balcony. Beautiful Flathead River is nearby where you can easily walk to or drive; you can throw in a fishing line and catch some dinner! BBQ on your deck and enjoy. Your view is of beautiful Columbia Mountain and the forest, yet you are conveniently located.

There is great cell service and internet. In the evenings, kick back and watch a movie on your 50" big screen TV. Netflix and a selection of DVD movies are provided.

Check in 5pm; Check out 10am. Cleaning fee $125. $59 damage protection insurance required in lieu of damage deposit.

Glacier International Airport (FCA) is only 12 miles from the home. There is a grocery store in Hungry Horse where you can buy your groceries; larger stores 7 miles away in Columbia Falls; Costco and Wall Mart are 20 miles away in Kalispell. There are restaurants and gas stations in town and on the way to the park or prepare your own delicious meals at your peaceful retreat in your own kitchen.

Home away from Home near Glacier National Park

This home was the best of both worlds - close enough to Columbia Falls and Whitefish to go out on the town and close enough to Glacier National Park to be able to spend the day exploring and retreat back to a comfortable bed at the end of the day.

Great stay close to Glacier!

Our group of 6 had a great stay at Nancy's home close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. It had plenty of space and everything we needed for our 3-night stay. The proximity of the house to the park was great and we would definitely recommend it and stay again!

Wonderful Quiet Place to Relax

Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to and easy to check-in. Large house to accommodate all of our grown adult family. Favorite part was the deck to relax on each day after hiking in Glacier National Park.

6 adults for a 3 night stay. Visited GNP each day and had a great time. Very convenient to the park west entrance. House was comfortable. Thanks for making our stay easy.

Comfortable and close to GNP

The house was spacious, well appointed kitchen, great covered deck, easy parking. Host was great and provided helpful information about the area. House is close to the park. Excellent choice as we visited GNP.

Relaxing in the Rockies

Great place to kick back and relax after a long day of touring the park. Our expectations were met and exceeded. The deck was a perfect blend of sunshine and shade with lots of humming birds. Our host was wonderful and took care of all our needs. It was a nice surprise to find she was a home girl from our home state.

Kalispell/Hungry Horse Glacier Park

Glacier National Park is majestic and awe-inspiring! We loved every moment! We enjoyed this house and it was the perfect location for visiting all parts of the park. And it is in close proximity to the airport in Kalispell, restaurants, etc. The owner was in touch with us regularly about our stay. She left good notes for us about the area and about the house. Our whole family enjoyed the stay. Thanks Nancy!

Doorstep to Glacier

Beautiful home with great amenities. Nancy was so helpful in answering our questions. We were so busy at the park that we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor deck, so we'll have to do that next time!

Perfect get a way for the West side of Glacier.

Excellent accomodations and easy check in and out. The patio is a great place to enjoy with the hummingbirds flying around us. Nancy has great spices, coffee and soaps. Close to West Glacier, 10 minutes. 2 Mediicines was an hour away. Hungry horse Dam was amazing. Thanks so much!!

Spacious and convenience

We enjoyed this property very much! It was clean and spacious allowing us to spread out - and plenty of seating in the living room areas for when we were together. The deck was very inviting - just wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. We had our days packed with activities and weren't returning to the house until late each evening. The house was stocked with everything we could need for meal prep and comfort. Location, of course, is everything, and unless you're staying inside Glacier NP, it would be difficult to find a property closer. I corresponded with the property owner several times and received timely and friendly responses. If the opportunity presented itself, I would look for availability at this property again.

Lovely home; perfect location!

Nancy’s home was very warm and welcoming! There was plenty of space for our 5-adult family. She provided all the essentials that we needed to cook meals after a long day of hiking, just as if we were at our own home. The back deck was lovely for eating breakfast and dinner. The home’s location was very close and convenient to the West Glacier entrance of the park. We enjoyed our time there!

Big Sky amazing stay

The location was convenient from Kalispell airport, a grocery stop in Columbia Falls and a beautiful 15 minute drive to the park entrance. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. It was our second stay in this home, which speaks to our satisfaction!

Glacier Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Nancy's house. It was a great location for exploring Glacier. The house was very well stocked and we appreciated having the extras that she left for us. Nancy has many Glacier resources in her home for her guests. The deck was a great spot to relax. We wish we had more time to stay in the house and enjoy the deck. Nancy had a list of restaurant suggestions. We tried the Packer Roost that she recommended and the burgers were amazing! Great stay. If in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

Glacier Nat Park is incredible.

Nancy was great to work with throughout the process. Available when we had a question, very accommodating. Property is a short distance from the West entrance and Hungry Horse has everything you need. We would happily return to this property.
