Country Get Away Cabin In The East Texas Piney Woods

King Country Lake is located on a 10 acre lake with a 2000 sq ft cabin. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a loft playroom with twin beds.

We are located 13 miles east of Canton's World Famous Trade Days and just five minutes from the art community of Edom which offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Blue Moon Nursery is close, and Ben Wheeler is 10 miles west and has great food, music and dancing .

Tyler, which is near by, is the Rose Capital of the world. Caldwell Zoo is also located here along with the Historical Aviation Memorial Museum. Exciting NY TX Zip Line adventure is only a 30 min drive.

The cabin is a country retreat on 35 acres. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing and paddle boating on the property.

Beautiful, peaceful lake property. House has everything you need and is very comfortable. Great beds and pillows, which is important! Also, appreciate the fact that they have life jackets, water toys and fishing equipment. Hosts were great. Will definitely go back.

This is one of our favorite properties. We have visited this home several times and we love everything about it. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is perfectly stocked with anything you would need to cook the perfect meal. The property offers so many outdoor amenities it’s impossible to have a bad time. The owners are easy to communicate with and attentive to any issues that may arise. I would absolutely recommend staying here for the perfect weekend getaway.

The cabin had everything we needed, and the master BR was huge!Fishing was decent - plenty of panfish and small bass with a few good-sized ones mixed in. The assortment of watercraft was super nice to have.We would definitely stay here again - thanks!

A beautiful, peaceful home on a completely secluded lake. We had AC issues and the owner responded with an AC guy who came and fixed it promptly! Great communication. A great getaway!!

What a perfect place to hang and love on your family in a private setting with fishing, huge fire pit, multiple grills, canoe and paddle boats, comfortable beds (a must for us). Only thing missing for us was to spend a couple more days!!Gorgeous atmosphere! Thank you to the fabulous hosts!! We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Get Away Cabin. It was a very nice cabin and good location, not too far from Tyler. Our only issue was communicating with the Property Manager because there was no WiFi or phone reception at the cabin. We will definitely try to go back again.

Excellent experience! Beautiful place that was very clean and stocked with everything you could expect from a rental and more. Kids had plenty of activities to keep them busy and happy. The last thing they said as everyone was leaving and going their own way was, when are we coming back.

Took the grandkids to fish and enjoy last weekend before school starts. They really liked the loft. Views from bedrooms are cool. Highly recommend and would go back for a longer stay.

Property was perfect for my family who love all things outdoors. Kayaks, paddleboats, canoe, life jackets, and fishing equipment were all available for our use. House was lovely: clean, very comfortable and extremely well stocked. Enjoyed the spectacular views from the rocking chairs on the porch.
