Wonderful place for a multi family vacation!! Host was excellent and very responsive. The place could have been cleaner, specially the pool (it was green)! Loved the pool cabin and the big kitchen. The kids loved the games, clues and hidden surprises!!

The owners were terrific about addressing some issues we had at the house. For instance, we wanted to use the blender, but there was no pitcher for it; just the base. They had one delivered within the hour of my notifying them. Excellent communication. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 overall is the “outside activities” closet for the kids was empty, which meant no rubber boots for them to play in the marsh (one of the things they were so looking forward to doing.) All in all, a great place for families. Oh, and the movie room is fantastic for the kids!

Family weekend

Was a beautiful setting for our family !!! The screened in cabana by the pool was a favorite place !!!!Owners were attentive and easy to communicate with !

Check in was seamless. The kitchen was well outfitted, and there were so many toys, games and activities for the kids. The pool and playground were awesome.

Great experience

We had a great stay. Property was awesome with much for everyone to do. Also located in a great area. Property manager was extremely responsive and very nice.

great family retreat

property was very clean and well stocked with all types of amenities. plenty of rooms for our group of 17 people with ages ranging from 11 months to 73 years old.. property manager was very easy to contact and made sure everything was up to our statndard

Perfect property for big groups!

Really a great house for a big family to gather! We swam, played games, enjoyed the large kitchen and movie room! Beds were comfortable and a bed for everybody!

Unique and fun place.

We had a family get together at Jerob's Place and had a great time. There were 5 children under 5 and all loved the house and all of the kid-friendly activities. We will definitely be back again.

We loved our stay at this home! We were traveling with a large group for a joint birthday celebration and this home was large enough for all of us! We loved that there were two living areas, one where the younger people could play video games and watch movies, and a larger living space for everyone else to have quiet. The pool, firepit, and playground are AMAZING! My daughter (4) had a blast exploring the property and playing on the playground. The kitchen was well equipped with quality pans and appliances. They also had the most well stocked coffee and tea area I've ever seen in a rental property! Everything about this home is inviting.There was an issue during our stay that was completely outside of the owners control. They were quick to respond and did everything they could to solve the issue. The owner really went out of their way to ensure we had the best vacation possible. I would definitely recommend this property for any large gathering!

We rented this property for a family gathering because it offered the pool, playground, pond for fishing, and lots of bedrooms. Upon arrival we saw a large tree had been cut down next to the house and there was roof damage that was covered in plastic. The flower beds and grass were not pretty like the photos. They were overgrown, unkept and the grass was mostly dead. Even if I chalk the grass up to the extreme heat, the flower beds and bushes could have been cleaned up. We had a 2 pm early check in but we ran late, arrived at 3:30 and the cleaning lady was still there. We waited in the car until she left. Walking inside, seemed ok until we settled in and noticed things were not that clean. We ended up cleaning the glass back doors ourselves as they were covered in fingerprints, took out a bag of trash left on the porch, and swept the floor. At the end of the day all said the showers/tubs were not that clean and those who walked around barefoot had black feet bottoms from dirty floors; I have photos. Out back, the pond and trail were completely overgrown and not accessible to fish at all. We started the grill to cook burgers and there was so much grease in the bottom it caught on fire. It burned out and we were able to cook, but it delayed our lunch time by half an hour. Also, the dirty oven smoked up the kitchen when warming up. There were not enough towels and wash cloths, just 2 towels per bathroom, and there was no soap in the guest bath. Very disappointed.

Christmas celebration

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The house and outdoor area is perfectly designed for large families, especially those with young kids. The hosts were quick to respond and assist with any of our needs. We would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

Perfect Stay

You couldn’t find a better place for kids! From the pool to the playground and the house with a movie room, dress up closet, toy closet, craft cupboard and kids books we couldn’t ask for more. The kids were entertained our whole 4 day stay. Jim was very responsive to any need and quick to fix any issues. We made some wonderful family memories here and hope to be back!

Jerob's Place is rightly named as it was home to a very special young man who against all odds: jumps, runs and has spent years playing on the Kings Fortress and learning to swim in the pool. He is now able to not only jump but to get around well enough to live in a home where he has to navigate his world at much a higher level.

Playground extra large with interactive unique giant mountain roller and circular slide for all ages. Playground sets on a multilevel shaded area of AstroTurf making it safe for all ages to enjoy.

Swim spa is able to be a great place to start your day with a brisk exercise routine or enjoy the bubbles relaxing as a family in the evening. Large enough for some to be swimming and others relaxing.

Pool is extra large with many areas to sit within pool which again is for all ages and swim level. Pool was built with safety in mind since it was utilized by a non swimming handicap child who required shallow safety no matter where in the pool he was.

Grounds are covered by trees throughout and incredible secluded from the world around including neighborhood.

***NO SWIMMING in the marsh.

Home has large rooms with plenty of space to easily house many and not feel overcrowded. Rooms are decorated with unique themes.

Property often has painted buntings, golden finches, hummingbirds, kingfishers, wood ducks, and Canadian geese.

Nearby is Canton Trade Days, a few miles from Rose Horse Park, Lindale town center, Splash Kingdom Water Park, Tyler offers various attractions and museums, and a short drive to a grocery store in Van to stock your fridge to cook.

During the months October-April, If you would like the pool to be heated for your stay... We need a minimum 30-hour notice and payment must be received 30 hours before your stay begins via the platform you booked through. Due to the current market price of propane, the pool heating fee will be based on number of nights booked and charged as follows ($375 for first 2 nights, $75 for each additional night, with a max $600):

2-night stay: $375 total
3-night stay: $450 total
4-night stay: $525 total
5+ night stay: $600 total
