The house was just as they listed. It was clean and a perfect location for us. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were talking about coming back for another girls trip. The host answered all my questions on a timely matter.I will definitely book this house again if it’s available.

Overall, the property is nice. It does need a little bit of work though to clean it up and give it a five star review. There’s dry rot on the front porch when you’re coming up into the house the gardens need some attention. The holly is pretty overgrown. It will reach out and grab you when you walk past it. That’s really the only two complaints. The interior house was perfect.

Great Family Space

The property was great! Very clean, rooms were a nice size and the perfect location. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach which was great.we spent most of our time in Mystic which was only a 20 minute drive away.

Location location location! Ocean Beach park steps away and was wonderful. Beach clean soft sand with kid and grandmama friendly waves. No seaweed! They also have a pool, arcade, mini-golf, water slide, and food. Also a great nature trail. 15 Minutes from Block Island ferry and train station. House has a great front porch and rear patio for outdoor dining. Kitchen well appointed. Each room has an AC/dehumidifier (much needed) unit. If you are looking for open windows throughout, probably not a good fit. One queen bed located in basement with no windows but near washer and dryer. Loads of towels and hot hot water!(my personal requirement). We were two seniors, 6 adults and a 9 and 11 year old. We had a great time.

This property was absolutely ideal for the long weekend we needed as a getaway. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host responded in a timely manner every time. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We would absolutely come here again to this very house really loved it. The nearby Rentals, for crib and highchair were prompt, clean, and easy to arrange.

New Years Get Away

We wanted a place for the family to enjoy New Year's under one roof, and that is exactly what we got. We of course to a ride to the casino which was only a 20-minute drive.We would rent this house again!!!

Girls weekend

Such a beautiful spacious home to get together with friends and family. Very clean with nicely stocked kitchen. VRBO staff very helpful with any question. The location was great as well. Just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely return .

Instructions and expectations were clear. It was clean. Had ample space we needed. Would have liked the following: Sponge for the kitchen sink, tissues, each bed had a basic blanket but the description indicated there were extras, a clearer statement that the basement bedroom would need to access the top floor bathroom or the bedroom of those occupying the first floor. It states where they are located but not the implication of that. And a tall person is not able to fit comfortably in the shower.

Adequate

The property met our location needs but wasn't very clean. I wiped off counters and dining room table and the were quite dirty. Floors were also not very clean. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch having coffee. Kitchen towels and dish cloths should be provided. The sponge left in the kitchen was smelly.

Someone is fibbing: All countertops in the kitchen and the dining room table were sprayed with disinfectant and wiped down completely. All floors were also swifter (wet and dry) and vacuumed from top to bottom. There are also a pack of 4 brand new, unused sponges underneath the sink. We supply fresh linens in each bed; provide body towels, hand towels, bathmats, including extra supply in our linen storage area. We clearly note in our direct VRBO message communication with you that, "Any hand towels can also be used for kitchen use. If you are in need of any extra linens or towels, simply request how many and of what kind, and our maintenance will drop off at the home." This was stated verbatim. Not one time did we hear from you during your stay regarding any of these claims. We find it hard to believe that the home became filthy from after the one hour it was cleaned, to the time your group checked in. Why did you not bother contacting us or provide any immediate photos of the home being in such disarray upon your arrival? Because it is untrue. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed coffee on the front porch, yet your review is beyond dishonest.

Charming place

I can’t stress enough that I has such a great experience. The check in process was super easy. We were coming from Boston, Baltimore and New Haven, so the keypad entrance was perfect. Everything was super clean. The kitchen has all the basics to make even a Thanksgiving dinner, including a turkey!!!! I had my dog with me and we enjoyed running in the fort and walking around... vey call and friendly neighborhood. No dogs allowed on the near by beach park. The house is big with enough rooms for a large family. This was a great experience and would definitely recommend it. I would love to go back when it is warmer so I can enjoy the beach too!!!

We rent vacation homes in New London often. This was by far the cleanest home that we’ve rented. I appreciated the TVs in every room, the keyless entry, and the comfortable beds. The location was unbeatable. We were close to Ocean Beach Park, but the nature in this little neighborhood was superb. We saw a fox, an osprey, and at least twenty different birds from the beautiful front porch. The portable ACs were a little noisy, but they did a great job of cooling the rooms. We missed having beach passes, but the home was priced accordingly. The property manager was communicative and responsive. We would definitely rent this home again!

Last hurray!

One last beach hurrah before school and this home was great! Was a short walk from the house to Ocean Beach Park and we lucked out with great weather. Kitchen was well stocked to cook a family dinner. Plan to come back next year!

Beautiful stay

house was clean , everything was provided that was mentioned in description , beach 5 minute walk , I guess only neg mention some stains on upstairs carpet ( light stains ) other than that it was great no complaints would rent from them again

Perfect spot!

We came up for a few days to get a feel for the area, check out the US Coast Guard Academy campus with our son, and get some beach time in. We loved being super close to Ocean Beach Park and just hanging out on the porch of the house. We really enjoyed the house while we were there.

Beautiful views nearby

Close to three parks and 10 miles from Mystic. Even though the house manual states that Nov-Feb 12:00 early check-in is available, we weren’t able to check in until 1:45. Also, the coffee maker is a Keurig, which we were disappointed to discover when we were ready to brew our coffee 😩. Overall we would recommend this property.

At this time of rental, the house manual/ rules did allow for early checkin "if available." Unfortunately, early checkin was not available to provide. We also state clearly and concisely on the listing page and house manual/ rules that the property is specifically equipped with a keurig coffee maker (coffee pods, creamer, sugar not included). We do hope you continue to utilize VRBO for all of your rental needs, and that your next experience is indeed a great one!
