The delightful charming cabin is just steps away from all kinds of restaurants, cafés and shops on the main street through Midtown. The cabin itself was clean, modern, and easy to access yet still felt secluded for our getaway. We had a fantastic experience. The host’s communication was excellent. We had a small request which was accommodated as soon as they could get to it, and until it was resolved, there was constant communication, which we cannot praise enough. We even got to see an elk every day! Truly a superlative stay & I can’t wait to revisit in the future.

Beautiful Christmas Cabin

We had an excellent time away in this beautiful cabin for Christmas. I highly recommend this cabin for time away to relax, enjoy God’s creation and do a little shopping and good eating, just minutes away. My family loves it!

Comfortable bed, even had sleep sound machine to help lull you to sleep. One block off midtown so shopping is right there. Would definitely recommend

Lovely little cabin! It has a rustic feel but is well furnished with fresh kitchen, bath, flooring, etc. so that it was comfortable and not rustic in its amenities. My husband and I enjoyed making the short walk into the town of Ruidoso and then being able to return to our "cabin in the woods" for the evening. We hope to come back.

Easy access to lots of great hiking trails. (Note: there is not a dishwasher, other than me). Would stay again.

The cabin was quaint and comfortable. Appreciated the upscale kitchen and amenities. The manager went above and beyond to make sure that we were checked in, settled, and comfortable. The location is excellent.

Ruidoso Weekend

The property is very nice, clean, and well appointed. The location is amazing. It is very small but it worked for my husband and myself. It would be a tight fit for a family. The tv in the back bedroom wasn’t working but other than that, everything was great. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful cabin

We love to cook and this beautifully remodeled, quaint little cabin had everything we needed. It was really clean and I am picky about that, so I was very pleased. The hot tub was a big plus for us and we saw Elk or Deer everyday, likely because it so close to the water! I highly recommend this little casita!

Convenience and Comfort

Great location with ability to walk to the midtown shops and restaurants (no more hunting for parking!) yet escape the noise and traffic as soon as you’re back at the house. En suite bathrooms were appreciated by all. Thanks for a great stay.

Great check-in kitchen, living room were excellent!Bathroom needs an exhaust fan. Hot tub not easy to use with the dirt patio.

Cozy cabin

This cute cabin was just as described. It was just steps from the main shopping/restaurant district in Ruidoso. Everything was new and clean and comfortable. There were just two of us and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Ann, we are so happy you booked our wonderful cabin in Ruidoso! We love that this cabin is tucked away in the woods for privacy but still so close to town for convenience. This fabulous cabin has just been completely remodeled so everything is beautifully appointed and is incredibly comfortable! We hope to have you stay with us again at A Stay Above the Rest!

Great location and fantastic manager response time

This cabin has everything you could possibly need. Very well appointed kitchen. Property managers respond immediately to questions. Prime location, one block walk to main shopping and restaurants on Sudderith.

Good stay at the fun house

It was a great place to stay but the house is on a slight angle. We called it the fun house because of this. It isn’t a significant thing but I think the bed could be leveled. I also wish there were fans to circulate the air. That than that it was a very nice place that made it easy to access midtown.

Great Cabin, Great Location

This cabin is just right for a couple. It's location is ideal, just off the main street in Ruidoso within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, but still being in a quiet, secluded setting. The cabin is very well appointed and very comfortable. We were especially impressed with the kitchen. I has everything (and I mean everything) you need to prepare your own meals. The internet and abundance of smart TVs was also a real plus. Overall, this cabin is a great place to get away into the mountains and enjoy the Ruidoso area.
