The quiet cottage on a large lot for privacy

Escape the stresses of everyday life when you book this beautiful waterfront cottage. Located just 4.3 miles outside of Wautoma, this very private, quiet, setting on beautiful White River Millpond will have you relaxing in no time.
In the summer enjoy the clear, sandy bottom of the lake. The no wake 60 acre lake is great for fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing.
It is also so beautiful in the winter, you can see that by the pictures. Enjoy ice fishing., walking around the lake. Have fun at Nordic Mountain just a short drive away, skiing or tubing down the hills.
The property is furnished, all towels, bedding and dishes are provided. Additionally, renters will have access to the dock, a gas grill, and fire pit, use of a 4 kayaks. There is a small collection of board games, movies and a Blu-ray player for your entertainment.
Drive into Wautoma for some eating pleasure. Several great dinner options, Silvercryst Supper Club, Christiano’s Italian Restaurant or the Moose Inn, or dessert at Milty Wilty or Dairy Queen.
Wautoma offers two challenging golf courses, Nordic Mountain offers bike trails in the summer and ski trails in the winter. Many other recreational opportunities are available.

The property is very clean and well kept. The garage was a plus. Lakeview was awesome as well as sitting around the fire pit. The host responded immediately.

We’ve stayed at this property twice now. The location is excellent for us as we have family and friends scattered throughout Wisconsin and the central location fits everyone’s travel needs. The cottage is modern with every cooking utensil you might need. The cottage is really cozy with a good view of the lake and, weather permitting, you can sit on the patio or around the fire pit with the same Great Lake views. The property includes kayaks, life jackets, swim floats, and fishing gear to angle for pan fish of all sorts, bass, and our grandson actually caught a baby Muskie. A real plus for me I’d the fact that there is a roomy garage so I didn’t have to leave the car out. Finally, we were only minutes from Wautoma, where you can get groceries or enjoy several good eating venues. Also there are two good golf courses in Wautoma and several within a fairly short drive. We played on six central Wisconsin courses during our stay.

A beautiful lakefront home! It was perfect for our little group getaway to hike the ice age trail and enjoy time together. The outside fire pit was fantastic and lots of firewood. The inside fireplace was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the lake, the water temp in the 50’s but my group swam daily. Fire pit was nice and wood provided. In town for a wedding, the property worked out well.

The cozy cabin provided ample comfort and space for my family to have both together time and privacy. The beautifully kept property did have one bathroom/toilet issue that required addressing. We were all grateful to have such a lovely place to call home for a week and would be very happy to stay there again. The fireplace was a big draw on cold November days. Many memories were made :)

Winter getaway
