Giant 2-acre lot feels like you're entering the wilderness, with huge lake frontage. 40-foot deck overlooking Lake Alpine, a sand-bottom lake full of fish. Swim next to the dock (shallow). Gentle sloping path to lake- no steps. Gas fireplace to stay cozy on cool nights. Your own dock, pedalboat, canoe, kayaks, toys and forest to explore. Summer fun and 5 min. to skiing, tubing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling.

My grandson fished the lake all five days. We enjoy the kayaks. The firepit at the lake was nice! We loved the set up of the house.

Great home for the price. Extremely clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Made great use of the canoe, paddle boat and fire pit. Lovely, quiet lake.

A fantastic home on a quiet lake! The location was perfect, the cleanliness was superb, the house had everything we were looking for to make it a great weekend getaway! Cannot thank the host enough for a flexible check in time, it was the cherry on top of the whole experience!

Great property, and so clean!!!!! Very spacious, nice overall, and VERY well kept! The house was so cozy and comfortable and the outdoor space was beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay so much. Having the patio, fire pit, dock, and kayaks really made the trip that much more special. Host was also very nice and quick to respond. 10/10 overall and would recommend!

Perfect stay on a quiet lake. Fire pit was wonderful next to the lake and barely a neighbor in sight. Owner was responsive to all questions and we had no issues during our visit.

Our stay at the cabin was fantastic!! We really loved our time there and it was the perfect getaway present for my mom. I've already recommended it to others and would definitely love to go back!

Mike was so easy to work with, and communication was clear and direct. The only issue we had was the WIFI Password was a little transposed, but we got it figured out.We enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was quiet, the fishing was good and the most important factor was we got to RELAX.We tried to use the fireplace as directed, but it would not stay lit. I think it was out of propane. It got a little chilly at night one night,We will definitely be coming back, we had so much fun.Thanks for the memories...Donna

Donna, the fireplace has a setting on it with a thermostat, so if the room temperature goes over that number, it cuts off. You can turn off that setting with a push of the button. Most people like to use that setting so they don't overheat the house. It wasn't out of propane. As for the temp being chilly one night, the thermostat for the nearly new HVAC system is on the wall, and guests are welcome to switch the heat on at any time. The wifi password has been the same, and worked fine for several years, sorry you had some trouble with it. We look forward to hosting you again.

Amazing Lake House

2 hours from Milwaukee, nestled in the woods, on a small, beautiful lake great for swimming, fishing, and lounging! Our annual Fathers/kids weekend was a blast fishing off the dock, sitting by the fire, and playing games when it rained. Communication was fantastic, the few questions we had were answered immediately, the house was extremely clean and well stocked, we are looking forward to returning next year!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was too chilly to enjoy the lake or an outside fire but we used the fireplace every evening, which made playing our boardgames quite cozy. The view of the lake from the living room was pretty. Loved seeing the mist rise every morning There was a deer walking down the driveway as we showed up for the first time. And three on our way out for the day the next morning. We hope to make it back there one day, possibly with some friends. We were immediately discussing how it would be a great place for a long weekend getaway with our gaming friends.

Beautiful property with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and fishing from the dock. Had a hiccup at check in but host was very responsive and fixed it right away.
