Great stay at a great unit

Enjoyed our stay at this unit, great location on the corner with the rooftop and a nice ocean view from the master bedroom. Would stay here again for sure!

We had a great time and the condo was perfect! Very comfortable, clean and fully stocked with all the things needed. All we had to do was grocery shop and good that we planned to be stuck inside due to snow storm. It made for a memorable event. Will definitely book again!

Amazing Resort

This resort exceeded our expectations! Very clean and spacious with everything you need. Balconies provided beautiful views of the bay and gulf. Location was perfect as well. We will definitely be back.

Beach Bliss- Another Wonderful Stay!

This is our second stay at the Sanpiper Ph-08- and I believe our 8th time at Destin West! The condo was clean and beautiful. We have an amazing view of both the gulf and the bayside. Our family loves watching sunrise from the rooftop, we even caught two fireworks shows! I would recommend walking over to the beach for the pier fireworks. It's an amazing experience. The personalized towel was a kind gesture! We used it all week! Fun was had- our kids shed a few tears when we departed. I may have too! We will undoubtedly be back!

Condo with awesome views!!

One of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. Comfortable couch and chairs. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy mattress. Great views from all three balconies. Enjoyed the lazy river and the pools and easy access to beach.

Great Experience!

We loved staying here! It was clean, organized and we loved the communication with the owners. Perks for the personalized towel and snacks! We could tell that these owners really care about their guests! Thank you for making our little family so comfortable and cared for!

Perfect location/ Beautiful view

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The view overlooking the pools is fantastic. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants and there is a Tom Thumb right next door. There is a place to rent boats, jet skies etc, right next door and even though you cannot keep your boat/trailer there, Brooks Marina by the bridge was great for open slip or dry storage. My family will definitely be staying there again. The lazy river is amazing and one of the best!

Beautiful property

This was our second trip down this year. Loved the location, just as listed. Nice personalized gift and Thank You card was very welcoming. Weather.... well its the coldest its been in Flordia since 1977🤷‍♀️

Made the most out of a bad situation

My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning right after arriving, after driving him back to Ga and staying a day with him to make sure he’d be ok, I decided to go back by myself and salvage the last two days. It wasn’t the best plan, but I did get a good tan and relaxed a few days. Hope to go back soon, this condo never disappoints!

Love, love, love this place

We stayed here at the recommendation of my sister who stays every year for the month of February. Instead of staying with them we got our own place, and what a great one it was! The extra balcony facing the bay was great for morning sun and coffee. The unit was supplied with everything you need, and more. We loved the personalized beach towel and note that welcomed us. We met so many fun people at the pool, which we used everyday. The resort is so clean (thanks Kevin). We were very lucky to hit 8 days of perfect weather. Will definitely go back.

February Vacation

We had a great time during our week in this Sandpiper unit. Very well appointed and very clean. Everything you need is provided. All of their units look very nice. We had a bad experience at a condo rented from a different owner prior to this and actually checked out after staying only one night. David helped us with choosing one of his properties and he and Jenn were terrific to work with. They helped us quickly forget the earlier issues and enjoy the rest of our trip. We look forward to renting from them again.

Good Experience. Would go back.

Overall we were very happy with everything. Condo was clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C was nice and cold. The only thing I thought could have been different was the lazy river gets droppings from trees, and I wish it would have been cleaned or skimmed once or twice a day. I was up early enough to watch the pool maintenance staff. Emptying trash, adding chemicals, but never trim to skim off the floating debris from the foliage. Otherwise, it was a great stay. This was our second time to Destin West Beach and Bay and I’m sure we’ll be back.

First time in Destin FL

Everything was very clean and well supplied. I was looking forward to the lazy river and headed there first. I was disappointed at how cold the water was. Once around was enough and I headed for the hot tub to warm up. It was clean and warm. There were plenty of comfortable chairs. The one swimming pool that was heated was very nice. The lighting in the water area was beautiful after dark. There was very few attractions for seniors in the area to do on cool days. We had an unfortunate medical issue and were forced to leave a week early. We notified the office 2 or 3 days before we left. We felt that they had plenty of time to rent out the unit for the last week when we had to leave but received no compensation for that full week.

Stop looking and book, seriously!

We booked this condo for a week to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. With most places shut down last year, it was a much needed vacation. This condo exceeding our expectations in cleanliness, value, amenities, etc. The description was 100% accurate. Anything and everything you could possibly need has been thought of and provided for your use. Ample towels, kitchen wares, spare beach towels, spare kitchen items like aluminum foil, cooking oil, plastic utensils, etc. were on hand in case you forgot them and a trip to the store wasn’t convenient at that moment. The monogrammed towel, handwritten note, and complimentary postcards and stamps were so thoughtful!! And, I haven’t even mentioned the lazy river, 2 hot tubs, pool, and close proximity to restaurants and shopping! We also appreciated the list of suggested activities and favorite restaurants. When I say everything was thought of, it really was. Truly an amazing stay and I am so glad we stayed here. We will be back!!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The beach this year was full of jellyfish and sea weed but we had a great time in the lazy river and hot tubs. There is a grill on the rooftop. Very convenient. The local coffee shops are great too. You are also 5 miles from Destin harbor at this location. I highly recommend this place. Great customer service as well.

Wonderful Vacation

This was our second time staying at Destin West and this condo did not disappoint! It's perfect size for our family of five and the views are amazing. The amenities and short walk to the beach kept us busy for our entire stay. Coastal Vibes was excellent to book through and the personalized beach towel was a great surprise upon checking in, which was also the easiest check in process we've experienced.

Sun and Fun in Destin

We've stayed at Destin West before and this was by far the nicest unit we've stayed in. Updated and clean unit with all the amenities. The embroidered beach towel was an awesome surprise, as well. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great property

We loved this Penthouse unit! My daughter and her friend loved having the open rooftop patio for tanning as well as having the beach and bayside resort to change the day. My son and I are gym rats and loved having the very well-equipped gym to keep in our workout regime on pace. My wife and I loved the comfy, cozy, yet surprisingly spacious condo. We had morning coffee on our master patio without disturbing the teens beauty sleep. The location is close enough to both Fort Walton and Destin, but is not right in the middle of the madness. Absolutely would come back!
