We absolutely loved our stay! The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and exactly as listed. We loved all the room we had, both inside and outside. Having access to the rooftop was an added bonus. We typically spend most of our days at the beach, so we were nervous about the walk to the beach, but it was not bad at all! We did also enjoy the lazy river quite a few times. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay!

Best week of relaxation!
DestinWest has been our home away from home for the past 7 years. We have enjoyed many different condos in pelican, Huron and Sandpiper. And as ALWAYS… we can't wait to book our trip for NEXT YEAR!!!

1st Family Beach Trip
This was a great location for our 1st family beach vacation. The condo met our families needs and my boys loved the bunk beds. The pool area was wonderful, and the beach was just a short walk away.

Honeymoon stay

Best pools!
Several pools and a lazy river at this resort. Check in process SO easy...owner emails keypad code for front door, so you don't have to make a separate stop at an office.

First trip to Fort Walton
Perfect location. Everything you need is super convenient. Lazy river is wonderful. Condominium was very neat and tidy with all of the comforts of home. Checking in was super easy.

Paradise with a view
The 360 view from the rooftop terrace was stunning. The location was close to everything. The property manager was friendly and responsive. The beach cart had everything we needed.

Rekindling Romance
First trip without our children in 22 years & it couldn't have been any better! Easy check in, beautiful view, lots to do, & we encountered the frendliest people during our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!! We will be back!

First Time
It was our first time staying at Destin West and booking through Coastal Vibe Vacations. Both were a great experience. The resort was well kept and the condo was very nice. The ease of check-in/check-out was a bonus. We will be staying here again soon.

Great Location and Views
Destin West is a great location with many good restaurants, shopping and activities near by. It is an easy walk to the beach, and the pool area with the lazy river is a great alternative if you want to keep it closer to the condo. There a great views of the bay from the balcony and the gulf from the rooftop terrace. I would absolutely rent again as the process was easy and its a short 20 min trip from the airport.

We've stayed at this resort before and it's a great room. Similar to previous rooms with the exception of stairs to go to the roof. The stairs are nice, but not as impressive as the larger PH with hot tub and all. We didn't stay up there, but that's because we went to my brother's room and went to his roof. So it is nice if you like to look out at night. The bed was great and I complained about the bed from my previous stay at this resort (different room). I wasn't in pain when I slept. They communicated super well and I appreciated everything about them. Really great stay and look forward to coming back.

Summer 2023
We have stayed at Destin West in the past and have always had a fun time. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from our rooftop balcony and also being able to grill. Our unit was everything we expected and very easy to check in and out Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great Property
We loved the property. Everything was as described. The condo was beautiful, clean, and organized. The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, the pier, and family entertainment. We have been coming to Okalossa Island for 15+ years. This was the first time at this property but we will definitely be back.

Panhandle 1st Timers
This was our first experience with the Florida Panhandle and it was more than we could have imagined. Destin West Beach & Bay Resort was a great facility - clean, tastefully decorated, amazing view, easy access to pools, short walk to beach, walking distance to restaurants. We’ll be back!
