We love Litchfield by the sea and it’s hard to find a better deal in peak season than this one. Only thing I wish they would change is having to pick up from and take the keys to the office at a different location.

thanks so much for your great review. One of the reasons why you have to pick up your keys from a different location is because we’re a property management company and you have to come by get the keys as well as the gate passes to get through the gate. Not everybody uses the company upfront. It’s good to choose who they use but quite often we can offer you a better discount as well as early check in, late checkout, which a lot of the other companies don’t…so picking up the packet from our office does have its advantages. Have a great rest of 2026.

nice location but cleaniness could use some work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed in Litchfield by the Sea and unfortunately the place wasn't cleaned very well at all. The floors wasn't swept in the living room cause there was still food under the table and there was a sock and crumbs under the beds. The cable didn't work in the bedroom. The pools was great! However, the wanted the dishes cleaned but no soap or scrub brush was provided. This is a great location for restaurants!
