Grocery store(Jewel), UPS,Walgreens, Marshalls, LA Fitness, wine shop, Red Line, Metra, CTA Transportation, Evanston, Lake,Beaches, and Restaurants all in walking distance.Loyola and Northwestern 10 minutes away...Only bring your clothes and your ready to go!

Cleaning fee is $355 for stays of 30 days or less; additional Flat $150 per 30-days for longer term stays. Also, look at our other 2 units in the building.

House Rules:
-Upon booking we require a list of all full legal names of you and your guests, a four digit code to gain access to the building, a copy of the driver's license, state ID or passport (must submit to owner at the time of booking)
-No additional guests allowed if not on the list ($100 per night, per guest if not authorized).
-Additional guests: $45 per person, per diem.
-Must reserve the amount of parking spots needed. First come, first served.
-First parking spot free, (additional vehicle $35 per diem, per vehicle)
-Early Check-In Fee: $45
-No "street shoes" worn in building at all times ($100 fine)
-No Pets. ($500 Fine)

Great place for family

The kitchen was beautiful and very well appointed. Our family enjoyed celebrating a special event there. Convenient to grocery store.

Beautiful place and super convenient

Beautiful condo, gorgeous interior. Kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, tea. Short easy walk to the red line train.

The facility was very nice and charming. The host was excellent and a aila le for anything. The location was less than desired being next door to a used car lot and another commercial building, but the ni e accommodations made you forget about it. The condo has everything we needed

Would stay here again

We came to Chicago to celebrate my cousin's bachelorette party and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The Clark is a super cute brownstone in a safe neighborhood, conveniently located. Lilian was a great host - accommodating and quick to respond. You will not regret your time at The Clark!

We had a wonderful stay, the house is on a busy street as mentioned, in the heart of the neighborhood, we had no problems. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by and the beach is a flat, lovely,15-20 minute walk. The rail station is less. The interior is immaculate and very quaint. The host is very responsive and we even left a laptop and she took the extra time to mail it to us the next day.

Great apartment and location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rogers Park! Place was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Host was in close communication. Off-street parking appreciated. Location across the street from grocery store and easy access to Chicago and Evanston. Highly recommend!

Quick Chicago trip

The condo is very clean and has enough space for four people to stay for a short trip. We were there to show our sons (16 and 21) where we had lived for four years during college. It's convenient to both Northwestern and Loyola and is very close to the Howard stop which makes using public transportation really easy. We didn't make much use of the kitchen, but it is a focal point of the home and could easily be used for cooking meals. We had a slight issue accessing the inner door, but that was fixed very quickly and did not cause any inconvenience.

Perfect House with the Perfect Host

We stayed here to move in my daughter to Loyola Chicago along with another family who know who was also moving their daughter in. The setup is perfect for hanging out and spending time together but each having our own space at the same time. Lilian was flexible and accommodating, which we appreciated because our plans were in flux a little bit in terms of who was staying over on what days. Communication was terrific and we appreciated all the homey touches. Very secure property and felt very safe. Parking needs to be coordinated but it wasn't an issue. So happy we stumbled upon this terrific property and its amazing host. We will definitely stay here again when in town to visit our daughter.

Beautiful home on a loud street.

Overall we had a great stay and I would certainly stay here again. See below for pros and cons Pros: This house is immaculate. I tend to notice any sign of uncleanness and then it makes it hard for me to get comfortable in a place. This house was beautifully styled but more importantly it's very very clean. Blinds didn't have dust, fixtures are polished ect... Location- this rental is in a very convenient area where you can easily walk to restaurants, a grocery store and a Starbucks! Cons This house is on a very loud and busy street. It must be located near a fire station bc we easily heard 5 firetruck blaring down the street during our weekend stay. One of the bedrooms has a window that faces this loud street so be sure to bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. That room does come equipped with blackout curtains which is nice bc of all of the street lights The house has an ample supply of towels but they have a slight mildew smell... something I notice bc I have allergies but my husband didn't notice. They probably just need to be stripped and they'll be good to go! FYI- this house does come with parking but requires a 3pt turn in a relatively tight area to park. So if your vehicle is large or if you aren't the best driver be careful!!

Loved The Clark!

The Clark was a great place to stay when all of the hotels in Evanston were full due to Northwestern Family Weekend. It was only a 10 minute drive from campus, so still really convenient. And don’t be fooled by Google earth images of the neighborhood - it’s nicer than it appears. Plus, once you get inside the building - the apartment is really quite lovely. Safe, well-maintained, and very tastefully designed. The property manager was extremely communicative and responsive. Even my discerning 20-something daughter and her boyfriend were impressed. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect!

We traveled to Chicago to drop our daughter at college. Not only was Lilian's place BEAUTIFUL and comfortable, but it helped us meet all of our goals while we were in Chicago. We wanted to be close to our daughter's university and have easy access to public transportation so we could initiate multiple trips using buses and trains. Lilian's place was PERFECT for this. Not only was the apartment and location perfect, Lilian was LOVELY. She was kind, attentive, accessible and took immediate action when we had an issue with the TV. I highly recommend this place. A bonus for us was that we had to leave our shoes at the bottom of the carpeted stairs-this kept the street at the door and our wood floors nice and clean! We will be back!!!

Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our visit. The location is very convenient with grocery shopping and restaurants near by. The parking space is definitely a plus. The apartment strikes the perfect balance between spaciousness and coziness. It has all you need for your stay and is tastefully decorated. The check-in and check-out process was really smooth and Lilian was always available if you had any questions or needed anything. Overall a very good experience and we'll book again next time we're in Chicago.

Modern and clean apartment

Lillian was a great communicator and we felt well cared for during our long weekend stay in her property (#2). Lots of access to transportation and abundance of Uber/lyft in area worked out well - no car needed. The Jewel/Osco right across street is super convenient and has everything you need.

Beautiful apartment

This apartment was just great. Beautifully decorated. Beds were SO comfortable. Right near a Walgreens, Starbucks and grocery store. Easy access to Northwestern via Lyft, Uber or Metro.

Comfy and convenient

The place is gorgeous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s always refreshing to have a home outfitted with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, good towels and lots of other conveniences. I liked the location in Rogers Park because it’s close to my family. I wish it wasn’t on such a busy street though. Getting in and out of the driveway always felt a little treacherous. Fortunately there were no issues. The only eyebrow raising pony for me was that the privacy code I selected for the doors was written on the chalkboard in the kitchen. The blinds were all up when I entered the property. Since it’s located right next to a car dealership and on a busy street, anyone could have seen that code. I immediately erased it, but felt a little nervous at night. I used the code to get in to door so I have no idea why it was written on the board. I also chose the code so didn’t need the reminder. I recommend stopping that practice. Beyond that point, the place is so great. I’m in the area a lot and would absolutely stay there again. Lillian is wonderful and very responsive.

We are thrilled that you and your family loved your stay here and plan on joining us again! All of our continued efforts as well as hard work is going in the right direction. We would also like to address a couple of your concerns and comments made in regards to the code and parking. Upon your arrival when I pointed out the chalk board with the code as well as other pertinent information, it would have been ideal to let me know at that time. It would have been my pleasure and only taken me moments to create a new code. The placing of the code on the chalk board is intended primarily for all the guests other than the one that booked the home. We understand that the person that booked the unit will know the code since they are the creators of our four digit code. Our reservations range anywhere from 1-6 guests and in providing the code on the board helps all others in the party have it on hand. Also, this particular unit is above ground level and the chalk board is out of plane site so, people outside the home cannot see the board that sits so far back in the space. The last thing we ever want is for someone to sleep with a nervous feeling. Onto the parking. We have never had anyone state that the parking situation is an issue let alone a treacherous situation. If anything our past guests have provided great response that we have off street parking in the city of Chicago. Anytime when backing out a vehicle we must all take caution and mindfulness on what is behind us. We also want to point out that less than 50 feet away from our driveway there are street light signals. If we wait for the red light, it stops on coming traffic which allows any vehicle to drive out comfortable an safely. We are also happy to report that we have never had any incidences occur in regards to driving or parking on our lot. We do have the convenience of the police and fire being in the neighborhood, but they are not next door as they are located three blocks away. As we take every review seriously and want to maintain the best possible hospitality and comfort, the next time you book with us, please remind us not to place your code on the board and we will gladly oblige your request.
