The Fisherman’s Cabin offers a private retreat where you can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer.
Step outside your front door to a private 5-acre stocked lake complete with a sandy beach. Spend your days fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill, swimming, canoeing, or simply relaxing by the water while taking in the beautiful countryside.
The Fisherman’s Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features 4 beds and 3 full bathrooms.

This was our second time staying at the rocky waters cabin and once again we did not want to go home. The hosts have thought of everything you would need and the entire process is painless. It’s a very peaceful experience and we will be back for a third time.

I stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving with my family and our golden retriever. We couldn’t have been more happy with our secluded stay and with how great the hosts had been. We will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Our group of 7 people and 2 large dogs thoroughly enjoyed the property. The cabin is located on a large private estate, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.Our dogs absolutely loved the extensive grounds where they could run, explore, and play freely. The men in our family had a fantastic time fishing and were excited to catch several good-sized fish during our stay.The location offers the perfect balance of privacy and convenience. While the property feels secluded and peaceful, it is still close to the charming town of Galena, where we enjoyed several excellent restaurants and local attractions.This was a memorable getaway for our entire family, including our four-legged companions. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return in the future!Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Very nice stay, everything was clean and well maintained. Winery is just up the hill from the cabin. Secluded location and private lake. This was a great spot for a long family vacation and pet friendly.

We were so happy with our stay! The hosts were wonderful, always available. The home is secluded and quiet with great views. Our dogs loved all the space. We will be back!

The house and property were beautiful! We throughly enjoyed our stay! We also went to the winery and it was beautiful. Nice lake to swim and relax on. The owners of the house were very friendly and responded to questions promptly. Would highly recommend!

Kyle was an extremely welcoming host to my family and I. The property is gorgeous and the seclusion makes the experience very peaceful. My young children had the absolute time of their lives just playing in the lake, walking the property and seeing the wildlife. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be going back again in the future. Bonus- the fishing was excellent!
