Great house - great location- owner easy to work with. House is set in the middle of the mangroves- even houses relatively close are blocked from view.Hoping to stay there again next time.

This was our third time staying at Ocean Panorama! We love it! The location is perfect. The house is very well stocked. The owner is great at communicating. We look forward to renting it again!

The home is very nice This is the first house where the open floor plan kitchen and living room which has one shower/tub bathroom located right up the painted stairs case on upper levelWhile the bedrooms are on downstairs bottom entry level Master bedroom nice size Had the good mattress On suite includes two separate showers/one with tub Queen bedroom needs upgraded mattress Brought and used additional air mattress Twin bedroom needs upgraded mattress Brought and used additional air mattress One shower/bath tub bathroom in hallway Nice decks on both levels Great sunrises and sunsets Our service dog Smoochie loved the decks on both sides of houseWe watched dolphins from top deck dailyThe pool and hot tub was highly enjoyed Outside shower (hang a clothes line inside for clothes and towel etc)The walkway to the beach has a nice outlook sitting area to rest before or after ascending steep stairs to the sand and ocean Dollar General across street Miniature Golf Aquarium Shops Restaurants Emerald Isle all reasonable driving distance The price was reasonable for this vacation homeOver all we highly enjoyed our stay Sincerely thank you for sharing your gracious home with us SueRosie&Smoochie

Loved the location, pool, yard, allowed pets and great host! Views are incredible and the beach is right there and almost empty. We will be back! The only concern was the house needed a good cleaning. Not sand as you are at the beach but bathrooms, sliding door runners and various nooks and crannies in the kitchen.

We booked for the view, proximity to the beach, and pool, and got exactly what we were looking for. This part of the island is less busy than the two ends, and we often had the beach nearly to ourselves. Dan was great at answering any questions or concerns, and we frequently commented how the pace here is more relaxed than the OBX. We had great food and drinks at The Village Market and Deli, Gaffers, The Trading Post, and The Crab’s Claw, and really good fresh seafood that we prepared at the house from Willis Seafood Market (walkable from the house). Don’t waste your time with Anchor Draft House - lousy attitudes with no good reason, and plenty of better options.

2nd time staying here and loved just as much! would have stayed here last year too but it was booked when we had a chance to get to the beach. quiet, private, oceanfront, plenty of room, comfy beds, lots of showers, and plenty of bathrooms. everything you need in the kitchen and love the open layout upstairs. my favorite place is the upper deck sitting in the shade (the middle part is shaded which was great as it was a typical hot august week!) listening to the waves, watching the pelicans and occasional porpoises, the colors of the sunrise and sunset, and the occasional thunderheads in the sky. the pool is always wonderful to have after being sandy and salty at the ocean, and it's a great place to relax before heading up for showers and dinner. having a smart TV with access to netflix/prime/disney and apple TV is a huge must for us to be able to relax and watch our favorite shows or movies after dinner or playing board games. for the 2nd time, we didn't play foosball but kept saying we would- love that that's there too! and while there are a good bit of stairs, we considered it good exercise after getting the must-have AB ice cream (or Emerald Isle Sweet Spot ice cream) most nights. thank you Dan for sharing your home. we love it and will keep coming back! 100% recommend!

Beach stay

Had a great time at this property. Great location on the beach and beautiful views. Home was adequate with some minor TLC needed. Overall stay was wonderful and would recommend.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay. Great location with access to several restaurants. Great communication by the property owner/manager. We would definitely stay here again.

The house has beautiful views. We enjoyed the privacy and ease of beach access. The beach was not crowded. Host was always available and responsive. We had no complaints. Look forward to future stays!

Beautiful view and very relaxing. Can’t think of anything more I would ask of this vacation.

Great House Every Year

Excellent views and beach is not crowded when accessed from the house. Good restaurant walking distance.

My husband, two dogs and I stayed here for the 6th year in a row. The house is on the ocean and has a pool. Enough said. The Hess family is excellent with communication. We had good weather for the two weeks we stayed at Ocean Panorama. We love this house!

May getaway

Nice house, great view, welcoming/helpful host. Touch and go early season weather but as always it’s just good to spend time in EI.
