OCEAN PANORAMA: Beachfront, quiet, & pet friendly home with gorgeous ocean views

Feel at home at the beach! Enjoy the beautiful views of the Atlantic from our back porch, pool, and hot tub; bring your pets, family, and friends! Don't let the photos fool you, we are ocean front and just a short walk down a boardwalk to the beach. Our home is located mid-island, a short drive to Emerald Isle proper. Enjoy the short walk through the the Theodore Roosevelt Nature Preserve to quiet, semi-private white beaches. While this quiet location does boast a secluded beach experience; you’ll stay current with our complimentary High-speed Spectrum WiFi internet access. Our fully furnished home features an open kitchen/living space, three full bathrooms, including master bed/bath with a king sized bed. Full and twin bed in one bedroom, with a queen in the other (linens provided). Savor the comfort of covered and open decks with great views of the Atlantic, island, and sound. Amenities include: enclosed hot/cold outside shower, charcoal grill, carport, dishwasher, washer/dryer, two cable TVs including large 60” flat screen in living area with plenty of seating!

Monthly rental rates available upon request.

Check in and out is Saturday during the normal season. Due to VRBO's new cancelation policy I was forced to restrict bookings to those days; however, in the off season we can offer alternative check in/out days, so feel free to inquire.

Loved the location, pool, yard, allowed pets and great host! Views are incredible and the beach is right there and almost empty. We will be back! The only concern was the house needed a good cleaning. Not sand as you are at the beach but bathrooms, sliding door runners and various nooks and crannies in the kitchen.

We booked for the view, proximity to the beach, and pool, and got exactly what we were looking for. This part of the island is less busy than the two ends, and we often had the beach nearly to ourselves. Dan was great at answering any questions or concerns, and we frequently commented how the pace here is more relaxed than the OBX. We had great food and drinks at The Village Market and Deli, Gaffers, The Trading Post, and The Crab’s Claw, and really good fresh seafood that we prepared at the house from Willis Seafood Market (walkable from the house). Don’t waste your time with Anchor Draft House - lousy attitudes with no good reason, and plenty of better options.

2nd time staying here and loved just as much! would have stayed here last year too but it was booked when we had a chance to get to the beach. quiet, private, oceanfront, plenty of room, comfy beds, lots of showers, and plenty of bathrooms. everything you need in the kitchen and love the open layout upstairs. my favorite place is the upper deck sitting in the shade (the middle part is shaded which was great as it was a typical hot august week!) listening to the waves, watching the pelicans and occasional porpoises, the colors of the sunrise and sunset, and the occasional thunderheads in the sky. the pool is always wonderful to have after being sandy and salty at the ocean, and it's a great place to relax before heading up for showers and dinner. having a smart TV with access to netflix/prime/disney and apple TV is a huge must for us to be able to relax and watch our favorite shows or movies after dinner or playing board games. for the 2nd time, we didn't play foosball but kept saying we would- love that that's there too! and while there are a good bit of stairs, we considered it good exercise after getting the must-have AB ice cream (or Emerald Isle Sweet Spot ice cream) most nights. thank you Dan for sharing your home. we love it and will keep coming back! 100% recommend!

Great Stay

My husband, two dogs and I stayed here for the 6th year in a row. The house is on the ocean and has a pool. Enough said. The Hess family is excellent with communication. We had good weather for the two weeks we stayed at Ocean Panorama. We love this house!

Beautiful view and very relaxing. Can’t think of anything more I would ask of this vacation.

Great House Every Year

Excellent views and beach is not crowded when accessed from the house. Good restaurant walking distance.

Fabulous views!

This was our second time staying at Ocean Panorama. The house is in a great location. The views are amazing. We all enjoyed the pool area and hot tub as well as the beach. The house is stocked with almost everything we needed. The owner is great at communication. It was hard to leave.

I have been in the eastern Carolina area for over 30 years having been bought here via the US Marine Corps back in 1989. I have since lived in GA and NC with my wife, but now make our home for at least half of the year, here on our wonderful outer banks island.

Ocean Panorama lives up to its name, even though I have owned this property for almost 10 years now, I still cannot get over the incredible views of the ocean and sound from main living area of this home. The beach is essentially private with very little traffic on this part of the beach due to the Roosevelt Preserve that you can see in the pictures. This gives a wonderful private almost deserted feel to the beach. There are of course other people on the beach, but even on the 4th of July this is very slightly populated. The short walk to the beach and the private pool and spa makes this a wonderful place for family and friends.
