Cottage On Carteret in the Heart of Downtown Beaufort

The newly renovated Cottage on Carteret is located in the Heart of Downtown Beaufort just 10 minutes to Parris Island and 15 minutes to the beach at Hunting Island.

The property features two master bedrooms with queen beds, private bathroom, and cable TV. The living room offers comfortable seating and a flat screen TV. Our location is one of the best in town! We are literally steps from The City Java coffee shop and the best restaurants Beaufort has to offer.

Linens, towels, cable, and Wi-Fi are provided with the rental.

Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property.

Great stay

Our stay in this cottage was just perfect! We take an annual boat trip and this was our first time staying in this location which was central to everything and walkable to all restaurants and shopping as well as the marina! 10 out of 10, will certainly book again for next year.

Location, location, location

A small,cozy and comfortable cottage perfect for a brief stay in Beaufort. The location is perfect for accessing downtown shops and eateries. Next door to a nice coffee shop and across the street from upscale restaurants. Highly recommend for short duration visits to this sea island and historic town.

Wonderful stay

The cottage was very lovely and so was the stay. The location was perfect; walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the bay. Beach and hiking a short drive away. After all the sightseeing and visiting, it was so nice to return to the comfort and quiet of our cottage.

Great Beaufort Location

From this cottage, you can walk to all of the best restaurants and shops in Beaufort in under five minutes. It was very clean, well-furnished with lots of amenities.

Great location

Girl’s weekend in Beaufort! We loved how convenient this cottage is to all restaurants and shops on Bay St. Great set up and floor plan. Will definitely stay in the cottage fir future visits!

Great location within walking distance to several shops and restaurants in downtown Beaufort.

Cute little place. Very comfortable for two couples with separate bedrooms and separate bathrooms. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Close to Parris Island.

Best in Beaufort

Best little cottage downtown Beaufort I have ever stayed in! Location, charm and comfort all in one. Two separate bedrooms with private baths, separated by a common area - perfect for two couples or groups of 4! Perfect get away weekend, shopping, dining, walking and relaxing in the best little coastal town there is❤️

Excellent property, as advertised.

A bit pricey but excellent value as it is in the heart of downtown Beaufort, convenient for walking to shops and through neighborhoods. It was clean, well-appointed and quite spacious for four people. For my family, it is especially convenient as I live a block away. We will definitely rent it in future.

Cottage close to everything

We were looking for a spot within walking distance for our anniversary. This was perfect. It's not a ideal if you're looking to do a lot of eating in (no table). However, you're surrounded by such great restaurants, it just got us out more to enjoy the area. The hosts were great and we'd definitely stay again.

Great location & cottage- just a few recommendations...

Lovely cottage, perfect location, very clean- but a few things to note if renting & recommendations to owners: to make it a more comfortable stay, it would be great if they had a table & chairs in the kitchen/living room/center area. Having a fridge, microwave, sink & dishwasher was great (note- no stove or oven), but actually sitting down to eat the food we brought and/or leftovers was difficult, since there's not really even a coffee table to set things on... (would still be a great use of space if they moved couch to outside wall w/door & added a little banquet seating/table combo (we couldn't even play card or games with our kids/no table). Also- 2 chairs in the living room are SUPER uncomfortable & above recommendation would eliminate them / add better seating/more usable furniture. Current furniture looks cute enough, but not really functional for a group staying more than a day or so...

Location was superb. Cleanliness was evident. Location was excellent for our needs.

We were impressed with the immediate response of the property management to two minor problems; however, we did not feel that we were being treated to a special event. As the website indicated, very little would be provided. It would have been nice to have a first evening basket provided, letting us know that our patronage was appreciated. As warned by the listing, we knew little would be provided so we shopped prior to our arrival. A small incident, such as not knowing in advance whether a 2# or a 4# cone coffee filter, or Keurig cups would be needed, might seem minor, but it makes the experience pleasant or stressful. My suggestions to the owners/managers is that they consider the travelers first night needs and make them feel welcomed.
