Located in the heart of the Historic District, this cute carriage house apartment ready for your Savannah getaway. Situated just off one of the nicest streets in the USA, Jones Street (on E Jones Lane) and by Clary's cafe, you can walk everywhere! The Cathedral is 2 blocks away. The home is located between Calhoun and Lafayette Squares, 1/4 block off Abercorn Street.

Renovated completely in 2017 with new flooring, cabinets in kitchen, granite counter and light fixtures, this clean efficiency will be everything you need.

Appointed with a mini-fridge, stove top, pots and pans, stand up shower, and new HVAC to keep you cool, you have everything to make your vacation in Savannah a perfect one. Sip coffee on the bright patio overlooking a private courtyard. Enjoy the Savannah life for a weekend or longer. We are happy to host you.

Home is one flight up. As your host we will give you privacy completely but if you need any recommendations or have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Admin and Support hours end at 9:00 PM. Any raised concerns will be acknowledged the morning of the next day.

Perfect location historical district

Great location with everything in walking distance. Enjoyed siting out on the patio. Very affordable & comfortable for a couple. Communication was excellent with the host. Highly recommend & would stay again.

Savannah getaway.

The property is perfectly located between the touristy historic district and the more local driven Victorian district. Once we parked our vehicle we were able to walk everywhere. This property will be our first choice for all of our future Savannah visits.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great for the St Patrick’s Day parade! Very cozy accommodations. Perfect for two people! Exactly as described. The stairs are steep and narrow. Kevin responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had.

Not as Expected

Stairs are steep and narrow. Sensor for stairwell lighting randomly activated throughout the night making it difficult to get a good night’s rest. The price point seems excessive for this property. A very small unit & parking is challenging.

Great Location, Cozy Carriage!

We were touring SCAD college and only staying over one night. This cozy carriage home was absolutely perfect for us. Excellent location! We could walk to everything. We highly recommend Clary’s Cafe on the corner for breakfast! Thanks so much!

The shower was a little small. The stair is narrow. The shower head is made for a taller person.

The parking was a little too far. But over all it was cute clean.

Cozy and comfortable

This rental is VERY "cozy"...think a very small efficiency apartment. It works fine for one person or a couple if you dont plan on spending much time in the rental (just sleep and shower). Wasn't an issue for us, we expected as much. Unit was clean, had sufficient amenities for 1-2 people for the weekend. Our only major complaint was the WiFi...the signal was weak and our devices kept disconnecting, and lagged while connected. Short walk to downtown and attractions. Very old building, but it is a safe area and relatively quiet. Host is communicative and responds in a timely manner if needed. Would stay again if the WiFi issue was resolved.

Super cute place

Location was perfect and the space was wonderful. The bed slept amazing and it was just enough space for me to be comfortable in. The stairs were tricky, but that is Old Savannah for you. Owners were very responsive on a question I had and the place was super clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

Location perfect

We really enjoy our location and having Clary’s restaurant so close for breakfast. We brought our bicycles and had no place to put them, so word to the wise on your bicycles. Other than that great place.

Perfect Location for Two

The renovated carriage was in a perfect location merely steps away from Forsyth Park, Clary’s, and SCAD. The location is very safe and there is ample street parking (though our car did get bumped!!!). The apartment is small, but has everything you need for a short get away weekend.

Great location!

My husband and I went to Savannah for the night for a comedy show and it was a perfect location! We were able to walk wherever we needed to go, a huge plus is the park is so close, which was perfect for us since we brought along our pup! If you have any questions the response time is super quick which I also appreciated. Super cute place! Thank you.

Served our needs well.

We quickly engaged ourselves in the myriad of attractions and distractions so indicative of Savannah’s historic districts, so time spent in the unit was minimal at best. That said, this rental might score high with the single traveler, albeit tight for couples (shower, bathroom and entrance proved unwieldy at times). As is the case with many of the downtown’s older addresses, a (not so) small dose of TLC may be in order here….otherwise a comfortable stay that served our needs well. Communication was prompt and timely throughout.

The location of the property is fantastic. An easy walk to restaurants, shops, to River Street, the while of Savannah. Parking is limited to on-street, which wasn’t a problem as I never had time finding a spot on the same block. The apartment was lacklustre. First of all, I think there needs to be a dehumidifier fitted. Immediately walking in, the apartment has an extremely musty smell that permeates everything. Once I returned home, all of my clothes, including those that I never wore, smelt musty. The apartment itself wasn’t too bad. There is wear, but nothing that, in itself, takes away from it. It could do with some work, but again, nothing that directly makes the stay unpleasant. The bed was comfortable and there is plenty of room. However, I’m not sure what is below the apartment, but from around 10pm-1am it was clear that someone was having a party directly below us in the garage. I’m not sure how much control the hosts have over this, but I will say, there must be very little insulation between the upstairs and downstairs as I heard every single word that was spoken. This unfortunately made getting a good nights sleep impossible. Honestly, if the issues with the humidity/dampness causing the mustiness and the noise weren’t there, it would have been fine, but overall these things really were a problem.

Location with a cost

After reading the other reviews, it’s hard to imagine we’re talking bout the same place. Yes…very very convenient location but…the place wasn’t cleaned when we arrived after the check in time. Called the number listed and the property Mgr told me she no longer worked for the owner…but did forward us his phone number. The dirty sheets were piled on the floor and it was obvious that housekeeping hadn’t been there. The stained mattress pad was a real turn-off. Other things that just bugged me were no coffee filters, no towels though that was corrected…Having more than two sets of dishes and silverware would have been nice….the toilet paper absolutely needs to be upgraded…a clean fridge….. Anyway….a great location. Owner needs to provide some extra care. We would stay there again if the owner provided some upgrades.

Great location by misses the mark

This is our second visit to Savannah when we stayed in Kevin’s property. Despite concerns from our first visit about the space being crowded with large furniture and a possible electrical issue due to tripped circuits and a scorched outlet, we returned as the listing advertised a renovation to the space. The alley location of the carriage house apt. was perfect for us as we travel with our two small dogs, and we prefer quiet locations. Kevin’s apt. is very clean. Unfortunately, on arrival we found the scorched electrical socket still in place, and a circuit again tripped when we used the microwave oven at the same time as a small toaster oven. The cover for the shower drain had no screws so the open drainpipe became an obstacle when showering when the cover was nudged out of place. We were disappointed to see that very issues that we’d brought to Kevin’s attention on our last visit as distressing had never been addressed in the renovation. What we found as new were two club chairs. The cooking capabilities were untenable—the two-burner cooktop would not even heat water, and the dishes and glassware are stored at floor level in an open shelf at the bottom of a hutch. Despite our concerns, we remained for our booking as relocating with our dogs was not possible. Our prior visit was booked through a different booking agent, geared to more budget-minded travelers, but this time when booking via VRBO, we had higher expectations. Kevin’s apt is great for folks who want a quick visit to Savannah and who eat out every meal. It’s small, but it is in an excellent location for exploring the historic district and Forsyth Park.

Never again

The stairs are ridiculously steep. Area is too small for two people. the electrical outlets are questionable. you have to find street parking in that there is no assigned parking. this place is worn all to hell
