Sandbrook Townhome #9 is located within the Whiteface Club & Resort of Lake Placid, NY. The main level of this home features the living room, dining room, kitchen and a half bath. The upstairs has a bedroom with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom, a 2nd bedroom has a queen bed plus twin day bed and an additional full bathroom. The lower level offers a third bedroom with two twin beds as well as a fourth bedroom with bunks, a full bathroom and bonus room with a sleeper, Foosball table & cable tv. This unit also offers an upper and lower deck that both overlook a babbling brook. Take a short stroll from your front door through beautifully landscaped grounds that lead to the shores of Lake Placid, a golf course, tennis, the Jack Rabbit Trail and restaurants located within the Whiteface Club property. This Adirondack Townhome Vacation Rental is located within 3 miles of the Village Main Street with venues, shops and restaurants.

The townhome was really lovely. The babbling brook outside of the patio was better than promised. We used the small beach that the property has access to next to the Moose Lodge Boathouse Restaurant. We couldn't find an easy way to walk there without cutting through neighboring properties, so ended up driving the two minutes to get there. The owners made available kayaks and a paddle board, which was nice, although we did not make use of them. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed, and there is a barbecue grill on the deck. The couch and easy chair in the living room are very comfortable. The beds also are comfortable. The game room downstairs is great, too! Note that the property is next to the Lake Placid Lodge and grounds, but those are off limits.

Enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and spacious. Everything was as described. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Nice setting and spacious. Lots of activities in town to keep the kids happy. They enjoyed the foosball greatly. The host responded to inquiries quickly and fixed the bath drainage problem quickly. I can’t give them a 10 because of the following: the strong musty smell in the basement, the dehumidifier smelled musty as well. kitchen could have more utensils and basic supplies. The cleaning was not through- packets of food and dust under the furniture. Moldy bath liners. The batteries in the upstairs fire alarm were taken out and not replaced. The owner wanted us to replace the batteries with the new.ones in the kitchen- there were no replacement batteries and expecting the guess climb a ladder to fix the fire alarm is not reasonable.

Great location for the Wedding

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for the wedding with all our family in nearby town homes. Easy to walk to wedding and reception.

Great condo, very clean and comfy!

We were up for a quick weekend over Columbus Day, and found everything in perfect order. It was a great stay, very relaxing with the babbling brook out back.

Wonderful stay! Just right for our family of 5 including 3 young adults. Golf, pickleball, swim, boat rental, dinner lake side. Property owner responsive. New kitchen.

The setting is beatiful, with a creek running out the back of the unit, so very private. The unit was in need of a more thorough cleaning and also needed better lighting. None of the bedrooms had adequate lighting and some had non working lamps or no light bulbs. Access to town was great. Overall, a good place to stay.

The perfect stay!!!

This home is beautifully decorated and maintained. It is nice and cozy with small creek right behind the house which makes this place extra special. It is only 5 min away from Lake Placid main street. It was the perfect house for our 3-day weekend getaway, and I highly recommend it.

Quiet and spacious

Whiteface Lodge townhome

Excellent spot for family to have separate beds and baths with sound of brook and decks, space for entertaining. Disappointing to be on the lake but not able to “use it”; resort members only. Wonderful dinner at the resort lakeside. No AC was a bit challenging for second floor bedrooms on a hot week.

Wonderful base for hiking

Hi, the condo was perfect for our group of 6 hiking friends - a beautiful spot with plenty of space and air to get together as well as be socially distant. The Kitchen was well equipped, beds good, LR and DR comfortable. We ate in for breakfast and dinner, and space was very accommodating. 3 1/2 baths very appreciated. Babbling brook soothing, resort waterfront on Lake Placid with Whiteface was gorgeous. Only 15-30 minutes to access the best hiking in the Adirondacks. We look forward to returning.

Great stay. Home was up to date, and styled in Adirondack comfort. Best part is the creek that runs behind the property. Sitting on the deck with the sound of the creek was so relaxing. Family was there for a reunion and everyone was pleased. Only short coming was no air conditioning, and too many stairs for elderly parents. It was manageable for us younger ones, it gets cool in the evenings as soon as the sun goes down. Would recommend and would rent again. Owner was very easy to work with.

Property felt old and showed its age.Not nearly enough lighting especially in living room and bedrooms.Living room couch was comfortable but lacked enough side tables .Musty smelling on main floor and very musty in basement. Dehumidifier couldn’t keep up.

We find it unfortunate that our 2024 remodel of the entire main living area, including kitchen, wasn’t enough to satisfy. Anyway, thanks for staying!

Love the babbling brook!

Scott & Jackie's townhouse was great! Very clean with everything you need. The sound of the babbling brook was so relaxing, stress relieving and just put me right to sleep at night. Their place was bigger than I expected with plenty of bathrooms. Our 14 yr old son and his two friends LOVED the basement (Boy Cave) with bunk beds, foosball table, ping pong table, porch and their own bathroom and flat screen TV!! I asked the boys to find a shortcut to the lake and they did... there's a walking trail alongside the brook, which leads to the gardens, and then to the lake... Beautiful!! We had a wonderful time... Thank you Scott and Jackie!

Spacious house and wonderful location

We rented this townhome for my husband's Ironman. It is only a 4 miles away from the start line and on the side of the town where the roads are not blocked during the race. It was very convenient the day of the race to park close to the start line! We were 9 people with 4 teens. The house easily accomodated all of us. The teens had a blast as the lower level with bunk beds were just for them. . The house is very well equipped so you don't need to bring anything with you other than your fooid and clothes. We were able to eat the 9 of us around the dining table which was nice. We loved the outside patio surrounded by trees and the nice noise of the little river running below. It was very peaceful. We would not hesitate to rent this hoome town again!
