The apartment is less than 100 yards from one of the most beautiful semi-private beaches in this area, and also the best restaurant on the island, Mama's Fish House. Locally owned.
It is not oceanfront but does have a small ocean view.
The Kuau Plaza building is retro style, built in the 70's, the apartment has been totally renovated and is very clean and comfortable.
Ideal for couples. Very romantic. Great Sunsets.
Queen bed, bed linens, bath and beach towels, and all kitchen appliances. Beach chairs and snorkeling equipment provided. Laundry room on the property. No daily maid service included.
On-site parking is free. This unit is on the third floor via the staircase, no elevator. There is a portable A/C only for the bedroom. Paia Town is only a few minutes away and is unique in its own way: trendy restaurants, local style boutiques, and the best health food store you will ever find. You are ideally situated for your trip to Hana or Haleakala Crater, saving you about 2 hours of driving time compared to Kihei or Kaanapali.
Hookipa Beach has surfing, windsurfing, and swimming with turtles, only a few minutes away.
Paia Bay, Baldwin Beach, and Baby Beach are all within minutes and excellent locations to swim, surf and hang out with the locals.

This was a very awesome place to stay and quiet, we will definitely come back again.

The price is right and most of all MAMA’S FISH HOUSE is right there for us to go have dinner.

The place was very nice, but we weren’t able to be anywhere except the bedroom because it was hotter inside than outside. Good location off highway, near secluded beach with turtles, and remodeled unit. However, one of the reasons we booked this place was because of the A/C advertised. The listing is misleading that the entire unit has A/C, not just a small unit in the bedroom. We arrived around 5pm and the A/C unit off. The unit averaged 85 degrees and the bedroom averaged 75 degrees. Also, the shower never got cold and added to the heat. Contacted the host about our concerns and received partial refund but no response after further inquiry. We understand the roach and the door damage was out of host’s control as a result of the storm. However, we did have to pay extra to change our flights to leave Maui a day early.

It’s true there is only AC in the bedroom, it was never advertised as the entire unit. There is a nice crosswind which keeps the living room cool. There was a serious storm which brought much rain and caused damage to the entry door. Not too sure about the roach mentioned. The change of flight and extra expense was the guest’s choice. We always go out of our way to have the unit clean and in perfect condition. Some things are beyond our control.

This very affordable unit was perfect for our stay in the Pa’ia area! Clean, short drive to town, short walk to the secluded beach at the back of Mama’s Fish House. One note: while the bed was very comfortable, it seemed to be the size of a double, rather than a queen?

Awesome condo,with scuba gear, lounge chairs and ice chest. Great living area, kitchen, bathroom, shower and bed. Access to washer and dryer and garbage dumpster. Location was next to Mama's Fish House and North Beach.Quite, peaceful and great view off the balcony. Wonderful place, fantastic stay.

Beautifully decorated condo. Great location to the quaint town of Paia. One mile from the iconic Ho'okipa Beach Park, which was amazing- Turtles, surfing and relaxation !

Loved our stay in Paia here! Great location, minutes away from Paia town and a few min walk to a secluded beach. The home is right before road to Hana and it was the best feeling to be able to unwind after that long day of driving :) we also made trips to other parts of the island, including Haleakala, Kihei, Lahaina etc in about an hours time.Host was great and flexible with check in which we greatly appreciated. Instructions and communication were easy. Would recommend staying here when you’re on Maui!

The place was a great location for where we were planning on traveling, and close to the airport! The town close by was great for food and souvenir shops.The place was a little dirty. Walking barefoot in the place, our feet got dirty and had to wash them off before going to bed. Some of the dishes were dusty and had to wash them before using.The bed is smaller than a queen, and sleeping was difficult with all the noice. It’s next to a busy road, and the A/C unit was very loud, but needed to keep it on to stay cool.Communication with the host was great, and was generous to let us check-in sooner with our early flight in, and stay later with our flight being later in the day.

Beautiful stay in the middle of everything

If you want to enjoy the road to Hana, the national park, and less crowded beaches then this stay in paia is right for you! I loved sitting on the balcony to read at sunrise. They had beach chairs and other beach accessories which was very convenient. An added bonus was the air conditioning in the bedroom!
