The cottage is even better than the pictures, Immaculate, and as cute as a button. All top notch appliances. Everything you need to make your vacation the best it can be. The owner is very friendly and informative . I was blown away by this rental and we have been renting for 15 years both here and in Europe and this cottage takes the 1st place blue ribbon. If would give it 10 stars and we would be more than happy to rent it again.

Enchanted Cottage is a beautiful cottage on the edge of the Catskills. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay from a complete kitchen, dish washer, washer dryer, air conditioners, to a beautiful fireplace with plenty of wood. The sliding patio doors to the deck provide beautiful views across an open field. The deck is a relaxing place to unwind after a full day of outdoor activity. The location was perfect for our weekend get away. The owner is kind, attentive and great at communicating with guests.

It is easy to find, comfortable, & quiet. Irene is very accommodating & keeps the cottage very clean. We saw deer in the back yard & had a wonderful morning walk on the rail path. Overall a wonderful experience.

When we found out the wedding we were attending was in Kerhonkson, a huge smile appeared on our faces. You see, we had the pleasure of staying at Sky Island several years back for our 30th wedding anniversary and promised ourselves...and Irene...we'd be back. The short version is, one can not find a more inviting, comfortable, homey, clean, and serene abode to visit. You are instantly transported to a vibe of chill and relaxation you'll find hardpressed to replicate. Add to this, 50 or so paces out the back porch, you'll be greeted to one of the several "Rail Trails" in the area, offering a walk, ride, jog through nature which we've not experience with and without snow on the ground. A nature photograhper's paradise.

Without question, a tough departure upon leaving to travel home. But the memories we keep with us keep this place fresh in our minds. Worth every penny.

The location, peacefulness and cottage were the just the right get away from NYC and great home base for us to explore the Hudson River Valley. Nice touch having the bincolulars and birding guide.
