Located in historic High Falls, NY, on Leggett Road, one of the loveliest roads in the area, is your private cottage. Just renovated, it has all new amenities. The location is steps away from the rail trail where you can bike or walk. Stone Ridge and High Falls are a half-mile away for all your shopping. Situated between the majestic Shawangunks and the Catskills; outdoor activities and farmers markets abound. With over 1000 sq. ft., it has a new kitchen with gas stove and griddle and a totally new bathroom. You can have your morning coffee and evening cocktails on a private bluestone patio overlooking a horse farm. The interior space has tons of daylight and is a delight to just hang out in. The furnishings are comfortable modern with lots of contemporary art objects. The hosts, who are both established artists, have studios, which are just next-door. Parking and WIFI are included. If you like to cook this is a fully equipped kitchen with outdoor barbecue as well.

This is a lovely clean cottage with ample space. Anat was our host was tremendous! We did not meet Jamie as he was feeling under the weather, but Anat went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure our stay was pleasant. Super hosts!

An extremely comfortable cottage without the small cottage feel! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Air conditioning was ample with the muggy weather. Bed was comfortable. Hot water was plentiful and the bathroom was spotless! The view out the back was like a postcard of nature at its best!

This was our second stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect, just as it was the first time! Anat was most gracious when our plans for moving to another cottage were ruined by the 4th of July storms in Ulster County and the other cottage was inaccessible. We were able to add a couple days until it was resolved. I highly recommend Leggett Cottage! Thanks again, Anat & Jamie!

Lovely view of horse farm from cottage patio. Close to great hiking, the farmer’s market, and restaurants. Wonderful hosts, very helpful and responsive to all needs.

Excellent stay

We had an wonderful stay at the property while we visited friends in Wallkill. It was exactly as described- very clean, nice quiet setting, etc. We met Anat when she checked in to see how we were doing, and she was very nice and kind; we would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first time staying at Anat and Jamie's cottage. It was spacious, clean, quiet, and extremely comfy, with all the amenities one could need for a lovely getaway. The setting is gorgeous. The location is close to many fun places to enjoy outdoor adventures. Can't wait to return!

comfortable stay in a beautiful area

The house is a well appointed one bedroom with a nicely done kitchen and kitchen equipment. The layout is comfortable and the host's art and the other art in the home makes it a fun place to stay. We enjoyed the stay and would gladly return!

Great location!

Our stay was everything we needed and wanted. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the owners were friendly. We throughly enjoyed being close to the rail trail and managed to explore it several times during our stay. We certainly hope to stay here again the next time we are in High Falls.

Relaxing, beautiful stay in High Falls

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing place. The back patio is gorgeous with a view of the horses, beautiful flowers, a grill and a firepit. The owner, an artist, lives next door and was very kind to deal with and gave us our privacy! Lovely artwork throughout the house.

Relaxing getaway

A Cozy Cottage

The cottage is lovely: It has a new kitchen and bath a lovely bedroom and open space for kitchen dining and living room. The garden is beautiful and the back patio has a view to the neighbouring horse farm. The location is private but close enough to food coop and the rail trail is 2 minutes away by foot.
