This property is amazing! We enjoyed everything it has to offer, corn hole, fire pit, fishing, board games. It has been years since we’ve stayed at a property that supplied everything we needed, you can definitely feel the host has an abundance mindset! We will definitely be back!

This was an excellent place in a central location to so many trout fishing spots, restaurants, national parks, and close to the airport... not to mention excellent trout fishing right outside the door. We averaged catching three brown trout a piece when stepping out and fishing first thing in the morning before heading out for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a convenient location near Austin and Delta, and not too far to the wineries in Hotchkiss and Paonia. With three bedrooms and 2 baths great for larger groups.

Great location and perfect for fishermen. Close to shopping, site seeing and hiking trails. Cabin had everything we needed - better than most VRBOs. Would highly recommend.

The cabin is much more than we could have hoped for - spacious, immaculate, comfortable. When you stay here, be sure to study, really study, the construction. Huge whole logs, stone walls, stone fireplaces. Each bedroom has a door that opens onto a patio or upstairs deck. The kitchen is fully stocked. It had everything we needed, including things like a blender, toaster oven and immersion blender. River access is right out the back where we waded, kayaked and fished. Hummingbirds abound. Each morning over coffee, we would sit with our bird app and capture a minimum of a dozen kinds of birds. While the chipmunks were fun to watch, I really loved watching the mink swimming and diving before going across to the island. Toads each evening on the wonderful side patio weren't really happy to see us, but we had fun taking their photos.The owner (great guy - happy we had the chance to meet him) responded promptly to one small thing we needed.

Ron was by far the best host that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Any questions we had he responded very promptly. I had the pleasure of meeting him also. I definitely will be back! The home on the gunnison river was so beautiful and peaceful.

Just wow. What a beautiful place and part of a special memory! Home is cozy, very clean, fully stocked, and views for picture opportunities for days!!
