40 acres and 3000 square feet of roomy log home with Hot tube accessing limitless outdoor recreation. Hunting the Grand Mesa, skiing Powderhorn, floating the Back Canyon of the Gunnison or fishing local rivers barely scratches the surface for things to do. Visit the local wineries of the North Fork Valley and feast at any one of the many restaurants in nearby Paonia. Skiing any top notch resort is well within your reach in every direction. Telluride, Powderhorn, Sunlight and Aspen are all within the shake of a lambs tail, 2 hours tops. When the day is done, come back to a cozy fire in the wood stove and gaze out at the beautiful sunsets. From this location, anything is possible in any direction.

Second time we've stayed here when in the Hotchkiss / Paonia area.. Perfect remote location to relax between your adventures in the West Elks AVA! We will certainly continue to book again and again!

This cabin was perfect! The property was spotless…inside and outside. The cabin is beautiful with plenty of gathering space. We cooked multiple meals and had all the cookware, bakeware and utensils we needed. It is the most well stocked kitchen in any vacation rental home we’ve ever stayed in. The owners were very communicative and made sure we had plenty of water for our stay. It is evident they take great care to make the space comfortable for their guests. The outdoor space is amazing! Our family enjoyed coffee outside in the mornings and ate dinner and played board games in the evening. The property is adjacent to beautiful BLM land that is fun to explore. Overall, this cabin is one of our favorite destinations and we hope to come back in the future!

Scott was very responsive to every question we had. The house is spectacular. Clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked and very private. We enjoyed exploring the hills around the house and made some new friends in Hotchkiss, too.
Rented ATVs from Weekender Sports just a few miles away in Hotchkiss
Hiked to the top of a hill and found this patriotic tribute!
The house is a fit for this terrain!
We enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful night sky

Absolute stunning cabin! We arrived after sunset and owner had all the exterior all lit up for our arrival. The rooms were all decorated beautifully and the beds were so comfortable. Everyone in our family still talk about the views from the cabin.
