WELCOME to the Hummingbird Casita! Enter a JEWEL of small spaces! All around you will see the thoughtful combination of function, comfort, and privacy, creating a space that will make your stay as our guest as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Simple amenities are provided. Experience the space, the pictures promise a great stay! Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay, relax, and of course, COME BACK! UPON ARRIVAL
Upon arriving use the key code to unlock your private entrance. Please feel free to use our back porch. We will respect your privacy. From mid-April to mid-September hummingbirds frequent my feeders, they are a pleasure to observe! Hence the name Hummingbird Casita! We often see deer in our back yard along with other wildlife so please enjoy this relaxing space!

OUTDOORS
Enjoy the outdoors with a relaxing 3/4 mile walk to Liberty Point and enjoy the view of the Pueblo Reservoir, drive a few miles and make use of the Park's hiking and bike trails or drop a line in and do some fishing. Deer and eagles are often seen while sitting on your private patio. We have available space for your camper or boat.

A lovely, clean home with friendly & helpful hosts

My stay was great. The room was very clean and very well equipped. I was able to cook up a small egg and toast breakfast in the kitchenette using groceries provided by the hosts. It was quiet, easy temperature controls, just great stuff overall.

Married for 50 years, retired, mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 3, 2 girls, 1 boy. My favorite things include watching the Hummingbirds that frequent my feeders from mid-April to mid-September and breaking bread with my friends and family. So I thought I would enjoy meeting some new ones! So I am thankful my husband is a retired builder and was willing to complete this project,

The main house was owner built in 2015. We enjoy the proximity to the Pueblo Reservoir because of the boating and fishing. Watching the wildlife and relaxing on our back porch with friends. Over the years we have entertained and fed 1000's of people. I'm hoping that you will choose to stay with us and enjoy 3 "R's", relax, recharge and rejuvenate!

We built this addition on because I just love these "Casitas"! So I designed the space with an eye for function, comfort and visual appeal. I think you will enjoy my efforts. Perhaps the deer will come and visit while your here, they often do!
