This charming, ground-floor studio is ideal for a romantic getaway in Gulf Shores. Enjoy a full kitchen and a private patio with a courtyard view, as well as a variety of resort-style amenities including shared pools, a hot tub, fitness center, sports courts, and easy beach access.

Stroll right out onto the adjacent white sand beach where you can soak up some sun or swim in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Challenge the 18 award-winning holes of the Kiva Dunes public golf course just around the corner. Or take a drive into Gulf Shores for additional dining, shopping, and local attractions, just 15 miles east.

THINGS TO KNOW
Guests must buy parking passes online before their stay, and up to two will be allotted. Details on how to purchase will be provided after booking. The fee schedule is $25 (1-3 nights), $35 (4-6 nights), $45 (7-14 nights), and $60 (15+ nights).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Decent stay no view to beach

You cannot see the beach from this room, the chairs outside on the balcony was so broken that you could not even sit on them. The walls were paper thin you could hear the neighbors TV all night.

Great value

We really enjoyed our stay this week. This unit was a great value for the price we paid. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the property itself is beautiful and well maintained. Make sure to notice that the bed is turned so that the second person has to crawl across the first person if you have to get up during the night. This can be seen in the pictures. Also, there is no washer/dryer inside the unit, but there is shared a shared laundry available. This is mentioned in the description. Everything was just as advertised and I would definitely recommend this property.

Rented...Did not stay... unsecured

Drove 6hr to destination and room door was open, bed was messed up like someone was sleeping there, slide door unlock and bag of towels on chair. Inside also smelled like someone was smoking. We left right then and there and stayed at a hotel 20 miles away. NO REFUND...I was recommended by a co-worker but I will not recommend due to this event.

Never again.

While the resort was great, our unit was very disappointing. It wasn’t cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. And when I brought concerns regarding broken/bent furniture and fixtures to the help line, I was simply told they were “noted”. Not fixed or addressed, just noted. Eventually someone came out to look at the property (without notice, so I couldn’t make sure I was there when they arrived) but nothing was fixed.

Great beach vacation!

Wonderful facility, great ground level location. Will stay again. We had an issue with the entrance code and took over an hour for vacasa to solve, code was not active.

Quaint and cozy

This unit was perfect for a quick beach getaway on a budget. The resort is well maintained with nice pools, beautiful landscaping, and a nice boardwalk to the beach.

Not great, but what we needed

Things were clean and we had what we needed. All appliances, cabinets and fixtures were very old and rickety. We’d stay here again, but some updates would be nice.

Needs Updating

We stayed here for 2 nights and that was as much as we could handle. It is in desperate need of updating and needs to use space better to allow for places for guests to put their luggage, groceries, etc. There are much better units in the same complex for better rates.

Review of Plantation West #1163

The only thing I can say positive about this rental was that it was clean. There was no parking. I know that there was construction going on which is something that cannot be helped but it was distracting. There were no window covers or blinds covering the patio doors. The patio doors look directly out onto the pool and an under covering where people eat at the pool. The unit was very small, which I already knew when I booked it, but it was difficult to get dressed without someone seeing you through the open glass doors. This rental is in bad shape and should be upgraded very soon! The TV was so small that you could not even see it from the bed or the couch. It was approximately the size of a cereal box. The best thing about staying in this rental property was the restaurant Sassy Bass! The food there was phenomenal and the best food we ate the entire weekend. I would not recommend this rental until it has been upgraded with appropriate window covers and television and until the construction is complete because you will have nowhere to park. We also did not get much sleep due to the noise of the people above us. The pictures on the website did not accurately depict this condo.

Location was great!

Beach access was close and facility clean and tidy. Condo was nice and comfortable, goot layout. Had issue with door not closing good had to really pull on it to get it shut. but over all great experience and would definitely recommend the place. I would stay again.

Clean, Perfect Location

The property was exactly as advertised! It was clean and ready for us when we got there. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance to the beach. Definitely a great deal for the price.

Cute Cozy studio

They property itself was cute and cozy. It had a balcony, access to two pools, and about a 2 minute walk to the beach, down a long boardwalk. The beach had access to chair and umbrella rentals, and the room had the basic amenities. The listing said that you get two parking spots per room but this didn’t seem to be monitored or followed. When we got back from dinner we didn’t have a place to park and the guard at the front gate said there was no assigned parking. I found that misleading. It was also impossible to get anyone on the phone from the property management company, and the check-in process with the lock-box wasn’t thoroughly explained. Due to extra cleaning time needed for COVID there was no early check-in or late check-out. Overall it was a great, quick stay and suited our needs.
