The house is a beautiful Victorian home. The owner was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The water pressure and airflow could use some work. It was warm upstairs and no more than two people can take a shower at the same time.

Wonderful Home!

My family and I came to celebrate my father’s 90th Birthday! We decided to stay in this area as it was close to both St Simon and Jekyll Island, it was almost equal driving distance for all to meet coming from Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta and Asheville. The home is amazing with plenty of room! The neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. We enjoyed visiting on the front porch and making family meals that were enjoyed in the large dining area. Everyone thanked me for planning and choosing this home. Creating memories to last a lifetime! We definitely plan to come again!

Unique experience

Super, historic house in lovely, safe neighbourhood with many similar properties. The house has everything you could possibly need, very well equipped. I thoroughly recommend. It's huge!

Incredible house on “millionaire’s row” in Brunswick. Nicely restored and everything you could possibly want. Perfect front porch for coffee and a friendly good morning to walkers Good restaurants downtown. Great places nearby to explore like St Simons and Jekyll Island Couldn’t have found a better place for our group Glad we reserved early. I can be pretty critical of places that disappoint. Beautiful home

This is a beautiful historic home. Lots of room and very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and within walking distance to a lot of things. We loved our stay here!

Beautifully Restored Home

This property has been lovingly restored. The home is huge and great for bigger groups. A couple of issues we experienced were addressed as quickly as could be considering we were there on a holiday weekend. The location was convenient to Brunswick, St Simons and Jekyll Island.

Golf trip

Excellent property. Excellent location. Excellent condition. Only negative was the number of steps . Guess this is normal for a historic home. Suggest a sleeping area on lower level since there is a wonderful full bath available.

Beautiful historic home!

Beautiful historic home! Restoration was done perfectly. This home is equipped with every thing you will need for the perfect stay. We were in town to help my aunt with her historic home so we were very busy everyday scrubbing, cleaning and moving furniture etc...but it was so nice to come here every night and have a large comfy bed and a hot shower! The chef's kitchen is to die for:) I will have to come back just to do some cooking on that stove!! It is awesome! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us!

Beautiful home, Fantastic Friendly Host

Everything was wonderful! I couldn’t have dreamt of a nicer place to stay. Danielle the Host is friendly and welcoming. My ONLY issue was with VRBO, absolutely had NOTHING to do with this property or the amazing Host Danielle. My experience with VRBO customer service was horrible, the reps were incompetent and rude. They made it extremely difficult to make payment and never resolved the issue after I spent hours wasting my time corresponding with them. I want to be clear, my stay was wonderful. My complaint is only regarding the service I received from VRBO. I would definitely stay here again. I will definitely avoid using VRBO in the future. Unfortunately, VRBO customer service and billing reps had an extremely negative impact on my wonderful stay.

Gorgeous Victorian

The house was absolutely gorgeous. It was also very spacious and well appointed. However we did encounter a few minor issues. The AC in the downstairs did not work during our stay and the bottom floor did get a little warm (78-79 degrees during the day). The host said a repairman was coming before we checked in. However I left her a voicemail when the issue was not corrected by our second day. Apparently she did not get that voicemail. I called her again several days later to tell her that a package had arrived and she did not know that the AC issue was still unresolved. I told her that a few toilets did not stop running either and she expressed her dismay. The host also has a lengthy list of policies (four emails worth). But do not let these minor issues deter you for booking this property. It was definitely worth it.

Great House

The girls and I loved the house. The pictures didn't do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the house. We had lots of room to spread out and read but great places to come together for meals and conversation.

When we are not using the property, it is listed for rent so that others can enjoy it and help defray the cost of this spacious sprawling home.

This beautiful Southern home affords all the fine comforts of small-town living in a historic area while crossing the bridge to beaches and nature.
