Like so many homes on Anna Maria Island, our home was severely flooded. Professional photos are coming, but until they are in, we thought you may enjoy a sneak peek!
We made a few needed changes in the floor plan, and believe it is at its best ever! We cannot thank those who reached out to us and wished us well, and those understanding guests whose vacations were upended by the storm and its toll on our humble home. It is with much gratitude that we thank you for your kindness, understanding, prayers, and love. Shell We Dance is back and better than EVER!!
Sweet vintage 1950's bungalow/cottage with all the charm of the island! Beautifully decorated, fully fenced back yard with private pool, (second building is the original garage where bikes and beach gear are stored). Located on the island's much sought after north end, it is a short walk to Bean Point Beach, Bay Front Beach and Park. Crystal clear waters of the gulf, white sands, and island breezes await!

2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Cozy living room with queen sized foldout sofa, screened in lanai, kitchen, and laundry room. With full sized washer and dryer included in the home and complimentary bikes to explore the island. Other items at the home for your use during your stay are beach towels, pool toys, beach chairs, a cart to roll all your gear to the beach, and pack-n-play for baby. Many accoutrements included!

A beautiful, well thought out, impressively decorated home with a short walk to the beach.A quiet neighborhood that is peaceful and calm.The private pool is surrounded by seating areas for guests…..and So many collections of Shells were displayed …it was lovely.The private parking that is available is a huge PlusLooking forward to visiting again next year!

The property was adorable, super cute, and had an amazing pool and so much more. This properly is a true gem amongst a lot of gems. We loved our stay and the hosts and their property is truly worth every penny.

This place is amazing! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. It was our first time to AMI and this place felt just like home. It has every single thing you could ever need. Having the bikes and beach equipment available was just icing on the cake. I would highly recommend staying here!

We truly couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to celebrate our anniversary than **Shell We Dance at Bean Point**.From the moment we arrived, the cottage just felt special. It was charming, comfortable, beautifully cared for, and had that relaxed Anna Maria Island feel we were hoping for. The backyard and pool area were amazing — private, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax together.The location was absolutely incredible. Being so close to Bean Point (Our pup was originally named Bean Point when we adopted him) gave us some of our favorite memories from the trip — watching the sunrise and sunset, riding bikes around the island, walking the beach, BBQ'ing by pool, and the peace and quiet this time of year!! It was simple, peaceful, romantic, and exactly what we wanted for our anniversary getaway.We also want to give a special thank you to Goose, the Property Manager, and to the owners, Don and Sally. The customer service from beginning to end was exceptional. Everyone was welcoming, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. Allowing us to check in early at no additional charge for our anniversary was such a thoughtful gesture and one we truly appreciated.This was much more than just a place to stay — it became part of a really special anniversary for us. We left with some wonderful memories and are already talking about coming back.Thank you, Goose, Don, and Sally, for helping make our stay so special. Bill and Jess

Just spent a week at this lovely beach house. The location is perfect with the beach, restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk away. The house is thoughtfully decorated and has a beautiful fenced in pool area. We would definitely stay again!

We were taken with Anna Maria Island the minute we visited. We knew this would be the place we would one day retire. Chicago area natives, we have transferred with Don's employer several times, including to the low country of South Carolina, the Indianapolis area of Indiana, and southeast Texas. With many family members and friends living in Florida, it has been a place we have come to enjoy and visit quite often. Nowhere has captivated us the way Anna Maria has! To us it is heaven on earth and a place we hope everyone will be able to visit at least once in their lifetime! It is the people that make it truly the warmest and most welcoming of islands we have visited. Now we own a small slice of the island and want to share it with as many people as we can. We hope your stay in our humble home fills you with relaxation, fond memories, and gratitude for the island and each other. Enjoy!

The northern tip of Anna Maria Island is a quiet, laid-back area, with the most amazing beaches! The white sands are created from crystal which stays cool even on the hottest of days, and if you shuffle your feet, the sand "sings". The waters are so clear you can see your feet while waist deep. The Rod and Reel Pier is literally down the street. Some shops, eateries and beaches are literally minutes walking distance, and you can bike to others on our complementary bikes!
