Perfect Gathering / Party Space Families, Groups or Couples - Great Lake View!
We know you will love the amazing view of the Lewis & Clark Lake from the large wrap around deck. Very close to marina, bars, restaurants, beaches. Large yard for playing badminton, volleyball, corn hole, lawn darts, etc. (games provided)
Normal check-in is 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m - if you need us to accommodate different timing, just ask - if we haven't had a guest the night before, or we don't have a new guest coming in, we can probably adjust this for you. But you must get this in writing from Lisa - either through here, or via a text message to confirm, so our cleaning team is made aware.
Plenty of room for friends and family to socialize, and relax. Inside and outside. Deck has plenty of seating and gas outdoor fireplace. (If you want to host a party here of people not spending the night with you, inquire with us about how you can do this, and the additional costs!) Can be a great place to gather your group who are staying several places in the area.
Yard/Driveway has plenty of room to park your boat or several vehicles. Plenty of yard space over 3+ acres. Does some of your group have RV's? Or want to camp in tents? Inquire about adding them to the rental.
Open floor layout on the top floor makes a great place for families and friends to gather. Eat at bar for 4 and table for 14, and cocktail bar sits 4.
3-FULL baths, 3 BDR's plus additional sleeping (see Breakdown Below)
Updated with new flooring and paint in June 2019. Newer furniture in 2022, bigger better deck coming in 3023! Outdoor furniture and Gas Fire Pit, and New weber Grill perfect for enjoying the quiet of our private location on more than 3 acres.

Two family areas also have two comfy couches, lots of comfy chairs. (We don't count this couches in our number of beds, but their is linen's if you choose to use then as ones)
Full kitchen with newer appliances.
Brand New Washer and Dryer.
Laundry soap and accessories included.
Great for families and small family reunions.
FREE Internet and Three Smart TV’s included.
We allow small to medium size dogs with additional fee of $300. Horses if you want to tie them up (no fence) contact us for additional requests.
We have 3+ acres for parking of cars, boat trailers, etc. contact us for information about renting for parties (graduations, birthdays, small weddings, engagements, larger family reunions etc. basically anything more than 30 people or more than 10 cars) , as this takes a special permit. But we can take care of this for you.
In addition. We can add for you - Full Breakfast, Evening Receptions, Picnic Lunches, and fun experiences. Info on costs & experiences available are listed at the house when you check in.
The only thing we like to share with guests if you are used to great water pressure you will be disappointed. We are rural, and are on the water line, but it doesn't have a ton of pressure and previous guests have mentioned this. Easy to avoid if you can not wash clothing or dishes while showering or checking to see if sprinklers are on before showering. This helps considerable with the guest water pressure experience. Our family of 20 stayed there for the Christmas holiday and we found that it worked great if we followed these few suggestions.
Check out and getting your deposit back?
It's pretty easy.
1.) Please bag all trash and place beside the inside garage door when you leave, or if not windy on front step area.
2.) Don’t worry to make the bed as we will be washing all the sheets & blankets anyway. If you want to go the extra mile, you can peel off the sheets, and place them on top of each bed. PLEASE NOTE: If you are aware of any stains, blood, wine, mud, just alert us to them kindly – you’re not penalized it just gives us a chance to address them before the stain is washed and set.
There are shout sticks if you want to pre-treat any stain you are aware of!
3.) Dishes are to be clean and put away, or in at least in the dishwasher. If you have a problem with any appliance or dish that we need to be aware of - please let us know ASAP. We will gladly address as quickly as possible for guests in the need, or will take care of when you leave for the next guest depending on the situation.
4.) If you have paid the pet fee we ask you to pick up any dog droppings that might affect the next guest, or alert us to any damage. You are covered by the fee unless its $300 or more of damage, but we will want to address any damage or special cleaning needs immediately. IF you bring a dog without the paying the pet fee, you will lose your deposit. PERIOD. The time to inquire about bringing a pet is BEFORE bringing one. Contact us directly if you have questions about this policy. We are very friendly towards dogs, but want to make sure our house does NOT look like it is. Thanks for your consideration about this.

We chose these properties due to the proximity of the location to the Yankton area and the Lewis and Clark lake, but you just have to see the views. They area amazing year round from this lovely sun-filled home.

Access to Twist of Pine happened in December 2019 when it finally opened, but almost immediately got derailed by COVID - a few months later, and isn't really full back on track yet, This beautiful Timberframe home just down the shared driveway is a great way to upgrade your stay with a full breakfast and all the extras you might need. Booking area still on a case by case basis, but Twist of Pine will have many added experiences and add on's as well, just check with us when you stay is close and we will gladly update you on availability,
