A good time was had by all! We enjoyed the bikes and the kayak -and especially the proximity to the beach!

Fantastic beach access

Perfect location, steps from the beach as well as several restaurants on Mission. The house was clean and well equipped for our family.

Easy get-away

The ease of getting around on our bikes was perfect. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and wake surfing. So much to do and easy to rent all of these activities.

Fabulous house with unhelpful management

Positives: The house is beautiful and the location is ideal. The bay is a few steps from your door and restaurants, bars, and the ocean are only a few blocks away. The setup of the house is great for a family of 4. Everyone got a bedroom and each room was on a separate floor. The upstairs deck is wonderful for hanging out at night and watching the boats on the bay. Negatives: Management. Several things went wrong during our stay that could have been easily resolved with a little kindness, understanding, and repair calls. We are vacation rental owners ourselves, and understand all that goes into managing and repairing homes so we are as patient as they come when things go wrong. Upon arrival, there were a few small things wrong that we opted to pitch in and fix so we wouldn't burden management (loose toilet seat, flat bike tire). In addition to this, the main living room had a broken TV, the master air conditioning didn't work, and there was a water leak that didn't allow us to use the master shower for part of the trip. We tried showing patience and kindness from the start, but got less patient as excuses built, requests were ignored, and we were talked to and questioned like annoying children who did something wrong ("Why do you even need the air conditioning? Just open the windows and you'll be instantly cold.") The icing on the cake was the response we got when we realized that no one was coming to fix the air conditioning - "we were waiting for you to report whether or not it kicked back in during your stay." As long as no problems occur, you'll enjoy your stay in this beautiful home. Just don't rely on management to help if something goes wrong.

Perfect beach getaway

Dixie and Julie has the perfect get away. It's the right combination of location close to the beach and privacy - both from the neighborhood and inside the house as well.

Great place to enjoy San Diego mission bay

Fantastic place to enjoy and relax in San Diego beach - can walk to both sides of the beach. The house is modern, very clean and relaxing place with enough amenities. I especially liked 3rd floor BBQ place where we could enjoy landscape of the ocean. Even from 2nd floor main living place, we could see the ocean. The owner is very friendly and quick response to any questions.

Great Location Beach House

We have stayed many places at Mission Bay, and this house was one of the best. The location is great, easy access to bay and short walk to beach. The house was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The deck was a great place to have dinner or just relax and watch the sailboats on the bay. There are a lot of stairs, with one bedroom on each floor, plus one bathroom in each bedroom. This worked out for our 3 generation gathering, but if anyone was older than me or younger than our toddlers, the stairs might have been a problem. All in all- a great place with plenty of room for us.
