Come relax and have fun in Montauk. Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood about 3 blocks from the Atlantic ocean. The house has an open floor plan living area with 2 bedrooms on this main floor. The Master bedroom loft has a bath and walk out sitting deck. The yard is private and spacious with a deck and patio to enjoy the outdoor ocean breezes. Enjoy sunny days at the beach or take a short ride to town for shopping and dining.

8 of us had an amazing weekend for my 27th birthday celebrations. This house is adorable - like a coastal cottage - and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We will be back, especially for the 5 minute walk to their glorious private beach!

We had a great time!

The house was beautiful, had everything we needed, the neighborhood was quiet, very close to beach and town. Would definitely come back.

Susan was a wonderful host! House is very special, located in a quiet neighborhood. Best suited for two small families. The layout was very comfortable. The beach access is what really made it. One of the more beautiful beaches in Montauk. We actually saw whales and dolphins this trip.

this is a strange and somewhat crumbling house. It is perfectly located, and outdoor grill is lovely. The house is fairly creaky however..

After Labor day in Montauk

Enjoyed our stay with our family. Location can't be beat. Would definitely want to stay here again (during warmer months hopefully!).

Spacious home in excellent location

The owner Susan was very helpful and took the time to come out and show me around the property. The house is dated but everything is in working order. The kitchen is well stocked and there was nothing we needed cooking in or using the barbecue every night. The house is spacious and the outdoor space is really great. I swear we could hear the waves at night. If you’re looking for luxury this is not the house for you but if your looking for montauk living you will enjoy this home.

A walk to the beach, or to town (one mile). Quiet tree lined residential roads. What’s not to love in Montauk?!?!

Good Location to Travel to Gurney's Hotel

We stayed at this location that gave us great proximity to Gurney's Hotel for our daughter's wedding. The property seemed beach aged, but the short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise was fantastic.

Musty smell overwhelms

Were it not for the open doorway and stairwell where a basement door should be, and the resulting overwhelming musty smell that permeates the entire house, the accommodations would be perfectly adequate - if not quite dated. The house is supplied with all the necessary items and appliances and would really be fine. But the smell is overpowering, and a wall and basement door would easily fix the issue.

We are sorry that you experienced an odor that seemed to be so offensive, and had you mentioned this while you were at the house we would have tried to address your concern to make you more comfortable during the time of your stay. We strive to make all tenants comfortable at our home to enjoy the beauty of Montauk. In fact, many guests have chosen to stay with us during the summer season and have returned to stay with us a second time due to our convenient walking location to the ocean. We take all our reviews seriously and will seek to address the concern in this review as well as any other concern that is brought to our attention by someone that has stayed at our home. Perfect!

Cozy and clean, nice private beach.

Enjoyed our stay but wished it could have been longer! We have been coming to Montauk for many years and have stayed at this location several times. The owner is helpful and accommodating, the house is clean and walking distance to beach. Beach parking pass is provided if you need to drive.

Relaxing and visiting Montauk has been a family pastime since 1957. Our home was built in 1980 by my father on land that was purchased by my mothers family. Our house is comfortable and family friendly. It has been and continues to be a source of enjoyment any time of the year. Montauk holds a special place in each family members heart!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The convenience of this house is such a benefit. You can walk to the beach while still being able to stay in a beautiful yard and relax should you decide to do so. It is a quick drive into town. Located a little more than a mile west of town bicycling is an adventurous option!
