Welcome to 1301 Coastal Highway, Unit #406 – The Residences at Lighthouse Cove!
Experience the ultimate beach getaway in this professionally decorated penthouse condo with stunning ocean and bay views in downtown Dewey Beach. Just two blocks from the beach and steps from the bay, you're within walking distance to local favorites like Lighthouse Restaurant and Rudder.
The chef's kitchen features custom tile, stainless steel appliances, exotic granite countertops, and an extra-large sink. The open living area boasts custom tile flooring, a gas fireplace, a 52" smart TV, and a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. The luxurious primary bedroom offers bay views, a king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and an oversized en-suite with custom tile and double vanity. The second bedroom sleeps four with a pyramid bunk and trundle bed and shares a full hall bath.
Step out to your private patio overlooking the expansive Plaza Courtyard with community grilling, a fire pit, and breathtaking ocean and bay vistas. Community amenities include indoor and outdoor pools (seasonal), a new fitness center, and two assigned garage parking spots (6'6” max height; no oversized vehicles).
One dog under 20 lbs is welcome with a pet fee and registration. Linens are not provided but can be rented. This penthouse offers upscale comfort and unbeatable access to everything Dewey Beach has to offer. Please note that the VRBO service fee is charged separately by VRBO and is not imposed by the Host. As a result, your credit card will reflect two separate charges: one from VRBO for the service fee and one from the Host for the rental charges. Great condo

Great condo. Love the easy access to the pool. Thought I would miss the ceiling fan but loved the skylights!

Beautiful condo

Condo was beautiful. My children loved the bunkbed for 3. Outdoor Pool was great for the kids also.

So much fun!

My family and I enjoyed our stay so very much. Check in was super easy. The condo was amazingly clean and even more beautiful then we imagined. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Will definitely recommend this property and will hopefully be able to stay here again in the future!!

Great location. Dog friendly. Kid Approved!

We had a great time despite COVID and in need of this getaway! Very clean, contactless check in and out and a 2 minute walk to the beach! We took our dog to the beach everyday which was also a highlight and so nice that this cozy place allowed us to bring our dog. Good views, 2 pools, roof top hang out - 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect location

Enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Gathered around the firepit on the chilly nights. Will consider another stay here. Only disappointment was linen package and forced fees.

Nice location, nice place, needs new bed

Third time staying in this unit. We love the location and the condo is well stocked with dishes, utensils, appliances and other kitchen items one might need. The couch had some stains and needs a good cleaning. The master bed is very uncomfortable. It’s lumpy and super soft. While we like the location and overall condo we couldn’t stay again due to the bed.

Great location

I want to start off by saying g this was a great location. Exactly what we wanted. I am very familiar with the area and was always interested in staying in this particular building. after looking at the pictures online I was very excited to book a stay in a condo in the residences. When we arrived, the place was not very clean. I expected spotless since we are currently in a pandemic. It was less then acceptable. The pictures of The outside accommodations were NOTHING like I expected. Beware! If you are into overall aesthetic do not book! No fountains or rooftop garden/grill area. No privacy. In fact, they changed the locks on the front door while we stayed there. No masks on the employees. No warning until after the job was complete. Barely cleaned the mess. And the door was not completely shut threreafter. Extremely disappointing. No staff cleaning the doors or vaccumming the hallways. The on site restaurant is a joke. Don’t even bother. Overall, it was a disappointing environment.

Rental property management was horrible

The Rental management mixed up the keys to the property I rented and another renters key. The other renter took it upon themselves to enter my rental and make themselves at home before we had checked in. When I called the rental management to straighten the situation out, I got no response from any agent. I had to make a second call to the rental office the next day to voice my concerns. The property not only was entered by another party, the cleaners did a horrible job. There was mold and hair in the washer, cup rings on the counters and table, human hair, dog hair and food crumbs and toys under furniture. It just makes me wonder exactly what did they clean and why was I charged a cleaning fee when I rented the property. I don’t mind paying the fee if I get the service, but the looks of this unit was unexceptable. When I finally spoke with an agent, she assured me that they would discuss the situation and get back to me. We were there for a whole week and have yet to get any satisfaction. Unfortunately, this property is in a perfect location and is very convenient. I will not be renting thru vrbo again.

Wonderful condo with a great location!

We have rented this condo 4 times (including our wedding week!), and absolutely love it! It's clean, spacious, in a great location, and walk-able to both the beach and bay. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great vacation!

Phenomenal property and great location

My overall experience was great. The place was super clean and modern with upper patio access to the pool. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, there were some neighbors that were a little loud but that’s to be expected on a weekend like that. Overall, I would 100% recommend this spot and will be looking forward to reserving this place again!

Perfect beach luxury

Beautiful apartment in Hyatt residences. Private and secure plus amenities plus! Convenient and comfortable for a weekend break! Nice touches in decor and comfy beds! Super kitchen too

Spring getaway

Our stay at Lighthouse Cove was great. The place was spotless. we enjoyed the large outdoor patio area. Already made a reservation to come back.

Great get away with our dog!

The condo was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Rooftop patio was very nice, with fire pits, outdoor space and views of the bay and ocean. Nice location, we could walk everywhere.

Enjoyable time

The property Itself was on the top floor of the hotel. You had to walk through the hotel to get to it. This is marketed as a pet friendly community but there is absolutely zero green space for animals. The permanent resident across the roof top was extremely rude and not willing to share the “shared rooftop space”. The pool hours ended up being limited and the hotel guests had access to the pool so it was very crowded. The VRBO itself was extremely nice and clean. It was spacious enough for two couples. It does not include ANY linens (do not expect a single roll of toilet paper) overall, I would book this property again in the off season and would not bring pets.

The Residences is a very popular vacation spot. The condo's are individually owned and it is up to the owner whether to allow pets. The community is not all pet friendly. Yes, walking through the hotel is necessary to access your condo. Paper products are not provided unfortunately, due to the fact extra products seem to disappear. It was clearly advertised that linens are not provided however, we do have a service that we could have called for you if you wanted to rent them.

Check in is at 3 pm, and check out is 10 am.
Quiet hours are 10 pm- 9 am. Linens are not supplied. Each bed provides pillows, a comforter/blanket, and mattress pads. Guests are responsible for bringing their linens.
Your occupancy limit is six. Violation of this will result in immediate eviction. This property is not available for special event reservations (senior week/bachelorette parties/bachelor parties/etc.) This rental is meant for families and guests over 25 or older. A welcome letter and QR code will be provided with additional community and house rules; please read them upon arrival.
Community parking permits and a pool card to access the pool area and community gym will be provided. These passes must be returned when you depart.
This condo is pet friendly for one dog, and a pet fee is required. The pet fee must be paid to the host directly. The pet fee has not been calculated in the price breakdown provided by Airbnb. Please note that if you want to bring a dog, you must pay a pet fee of $300.00 in addition to the booking cost. Violation of this will result in immediate eviction!
